That's a reasonable request. I'll update the category specifics to allow for a side build of up to 100 pieces. Minifigures are always allowed.

Those are some very clean looking wings. And clever addition of a working bomb chute. Great work! -

You are welcome to bring up the topic of tariffs as it relates to Lego Star Wars. You're right that it certainly does in this instance. Though I for one will be surprised if this tariff sticks very long at all. Just don't disparage other view points. If someone has a reason they think Trump's movie tariff will be a benefit (as it relates to Lego) they are as welcome to share it as those who think it won't be a benefit. -
EPISODE I - A New Home
MKJoshA replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Hypothetically suppose the Dark Side picked Eclipse in L11 as their home planet. Max could then build a MOC set in the unknown regions, but registered to Eclipse in L11. The XP would go to Eclipse and not to the unknown regions location where he build. Another scenario, if someone really wants to build on Dathomir but doesn't have access, they could still do so but register it to their home planet and get XP. The home planet is a way to build MOCs for XP that wouldn't otherwise be eligible. -
Yes, that scenario would fit with the category. Can't wait to see what you build!
-
It should be set post ROTS to the destruction of the 2nd Death Star, or any time after that when a clone is present. This can include Dark Horse comics' version of the Palpatine clone story or Disney's version. But it needs to be clearly an act of rebellion against the Emperor's Empire.

A good example is Max's question here. He wants to build in the Unknown Regions to finish off a story. But that wouldn't give his team any XP points. With the home planet, he can build a story set in the Unknown Regions and claim it for XP on the home planet. -

With the destruction of the Death Star II every faction across the galaxy feels the repercussions. The Rebel Alliance and other Light Side sympathizers have a chance to set up a base the Empire can't get rid of easily. The Imperials and other Dark Side sympathizers have to find a new base of operations with there being so much turmoil on Coruscant. And Mercenaries all over the galaxy see a golden opportunity to stake their claim. Each group decided it was time to set up a permanent base of operations. But where? Contest Specifics: As we launch Season 2, each team has the opportunity to pick a planet to be their home base. This planet can be anywhere in the galaxy, regardless of current access. Each team must declare, in this topic, which planet they are picking before posting any episode entries. The planet each team picks may not be one that has any points already on it. Nor may it be in a contested zone. It also cannot be a planet on one of the 5 main hyperspace routes. After picking a home base, that planet cannot be contested by any of the other teams and will act as a permanent safe zone for the team. After gaining control of the home planet, team members will have a new perk. Any player who wants to build on a planet they don't have access too (the most prevalent reason being story purposes) can register it to their home planet and still gain XP. For example, if a Dark Side player wanted to build on Yavin IV, which they don't have access to right now, they could build something set on that planet but register it to their home planet still allowing them to earn XP for their team. For the next 3 months, any entries on the home planet will earn double XP. This will allow teams to take control of their new homes faster. The Rules: All rules in the Core Rules topic apply unless otherwise stated in this explanation or the rules above. There are no restrictions on the size/form/content of the builds other than the specifics described above. You may build as many entries as you like. The Episode will run from May 4th to Aug 4th. As long as it is still Aug 4th somewhere in the world, you can still enter. Entries posted after the deadline will be disqualified from the episode and will only earn normal XP points. The criteria by which your MOCs will be scored is 1) Storytelling, 2) Aesthetics, and 3) Technical Ability. You can earn up to 10 points in each category for a max total of 30 points per entry. This episode/contest is open to all players of Mysteries, even if they joined EB or signed up for the game after the episode has begun. All entries must be new creations, not posted anywhere else prior to the start date of this episode. You can use creations for this contest in other forums or contests, but it should not have been displayed before the start date for this contest. All entries must be built from real LEGO or with Lego Digital Designer. 3rd party parts may be allowed if used to customize characters and in small quantities. I.E. guns or decals. 3rd party bricks are not allowed to be intentionally used (if you have a Megablock 2x2 brick in a wall of Lego bricks you won't be penalized). You may do a 'full-blown photo edit' with all the text, effects, background compositing, support erasing, and other effects on one picture. All your other pictures may have no editing other than color adjustment or background removal for a solid-color background. For obvious reasons, any photo editing that changes the shape, functionality, or color (not tint or adjustment, but actual color) of a LEGO piece is prohibited,. All entries will be entered by the GM using this form: Link to Submission Form

Totally fine to use old WIPs. As long as you haven't shown them online before it's allowed.

MYSTERIES: Introduction and Rules Season 2
MKJoshA replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
I'm going to post the first Episode challenge this weekend which will give you a way to earn points for MOCs set in places you don't have access to. So maybe wait till I drop that and then let me know if you still have questions. You can absolutely build for both. You'll just need to post it in both Mysteries an the Junkyard so it can count for each. -
Nope, can't honor the anniversaries every year. Or else we'd never be free of them! It can be either an existing ship or an imaginary one. It just needs to fit the Star Wars universe feel.

May the 4th be with you. Welcome to Eurobrick's annual Star Wars contest! There are many ways to participate, and lots of ways to win! Four different categories, multiple prizes, and a chance to participate in our role-playing Star Wars game Mysteries are all part of the fun this year. General Rules The contest runs May 1st through July 1st. As long as it's still July 1st, 2025 somewhere in the world, you can still enter. All entries must be new builds not shown online or publicly before May 1st, 2025. Only official LEGO elements should be used. Avoid third party parts or clone bricks. Digital entries will be allowed. All digital entries must use only existing pieces in existing colors. Entries may be updated as long as the contest is still open. All entries must be posted as a new topic in the Watto’s Junkyard forum with the title prefixed by, "[M4-25 - category] - entry name". (For example, "[M4-25 - The Crew] – A Salty Bunch".) You may do a 'full-blown photo edit' with all the text, effects, background compositing, support erasing, and other effects on one picture. All your other pictures may have no editing other than color adjustment or background removal for a solid-color background. For obvious reasons, any photo editing that changes the shape, functionality, or color (not tint or adjustment, but actual color) of a LEGO piece is prohibited. It is also prohibited to use the Lego logo in any picture. There are no size restrictions. As this is a Star Wars contest all entries need to be Star Wars related. A link should be included in this thread to ensure your entry is counted. This contest is open to all EB members, even if they joined EB after the contest has begun, with the exception of the Star Wars staff, who are not eligible to win prizes. You may enter each category as many times as you would like. Each contestant can only win 1 category prize and 1 individual prize, if multiple categories are won by the same contestant, he/she chooses which prize to receive and the other prizes will be awarded to the runner ups. The Grand Admiral winner will have the highest scored entry counted in each category, not every entry. You can use this stamp on your photos if you'd like: All entries can also by submitted to our Mysteries game. Our Star Wars RPG just launched it's second season. It's a great place to grow as a builder. Come check it out! Judging Method There will be a team of judges who will score builds based on the following criteria: Category: Pass/Fail Does your build fit the category? Majority vote of the judges decides pass/fail if the vote isn't unanimous. Storytelling ?/10 Does your build communicate a story all on it's own? Aesthetics ?/10 Detailing, build composition, and visual impact. Technical Ability ?/10 How well you use building techniques. SNOT, NPU, and movement are all elements of this category. Final Score: ?/30 Individual Awards Grand Admiral: awarded to the competitor with the highest total score combined from all entered categories. To win the Grand Admiral prize you must enter at least 3 categories. Categories The Crew Build a set of 5 figures to pilot a vessel. Droids, brick-built or molded, count as a figure. This is a fig-barf challenge. You don't have to build any characters that currently exist in Star Wars media, but your figures should look like they fit within the SW universe. Side builds may accompany your minifigures but you may use no more than 100 pieces. Pieces used to kit out your minifigures and the figures themselves don't count against the 100 piece limit. Example: Asymmetrical Build a ship that's not symmetrical when it's landed. Examples would be the TIE Bomber, Stinger Mantis, and the Millennium Falcon. It can be any spaceship of any size from a TIE Fighter to a Star Destroyer. Minifigures are allowed. Side builds may accompany your ship but you may use no more than 100 pieces An extra note for judging, it can be hard to score points in Storytelling for the ship category. Think about including battle damage or other elements that tell a story as soon as you look at the ship. Example: Built by Oscar Cederwall Example: Rebellions Are Built on Hope Show some form of rebellion against the Empire. You can draw on inspiration from Andor, Rebels, Bad Batch, or other media. You can also create your own scenario. All MOCs should be set during a time when the Emperor is alive (clones of the Emperor also count ). Example: Example: Built by Leot Wretched Hive Build a Cantina. It can be a wretched hive of scum and villainy or it can be the most posh of clubs. But most of all it should feel like a place where would-be adventures can meet before their next adventure. Decore and setting will be a big part of this category, but don't skimp on the characters either. Your Cantina should feel well frequented. There is no size limit, go as big as you want! Example: Prizes The Crew - First place wins a set or sets with an equivalent value up to 40 Euro as their prize like: - Second place wins set 75372 from my personal collection: Asymmetrical - First place wins a set or sets with an equivalent value up to 70 Euro as their prize like: - Second place wins set 75168 from my personal collection: Rebellions Are Built on Hope - First place wins a set or sets with an equivalent value up to 80 Euro as their prize like: - Second place wins set 75401 from my personal collection: Wretched Hive - First place wins a set or sets with an equivalent value up to 150 Euro as their prize like: - Second place wins set 75401 from my personal collection: Grand Admiral - A set or sets with an equivalent value up to 230 Euro as their prize like: Fine Print By entering, you consent to Eurobricks reposting your entry on Eurobricks' social media channels, crediting you. Prizes supplied by TLG are subject to the rules below. Prizes supplied by Eurobricks are non-changeable. Prize values are determined in accordance with German Shop at Home and prizes are subject to availability on the Shop at Home in the winners' local countries. The sails for the Endurance are 45€. For all those sails that seems pretty reasonable. But there are so many unreasonable prices. I think Lego is testing the waters to see how high they can go before people stop ordering. -

If you look at the first post of this topic you'll see that the line is tighter. Policy for the Star Wars threads has been to wait 1-2 weeks before discussing anything related to the newly released media. I try to be lenient and understanding. But I will enforce those rules as needed.
