    I'm sure there are other places I could ask this question, but I'm posting it here since I know someone in the community will know the answer! I've been looking for trans-clear plates, but they don't seem to exist in Lego. I feel like I've seen them in MOCs, but of course I don't have any examples. Has Lego produced a 4x4, 6x6, or 8x8 in trans-clear or trans light blue? I've found the rare 8x8 trans-medium blue, but I'm looking for something that's not $8 a piece EDIT: Let me add that I'm talking about larger plates. Not 1x1s or 1x2s.

    The suspense is killing me! I have a scenario that ties into Maxim's issue. If I take my ship, and keep the body of the ship largely the same but change the sails, is it going to be a problem if I license it but don't try to get freebuild points for it? It would largely be the same ship, I would only be modifying it to add a ship to my MCRA capabilities. Seeing as we are "allowed" to re-use the exact same MOC to replace a ship that's sunk it would seem that gently modifying an existing MOC would be acceptable, especially if I'm not trying to get FB DBs from it. But since Maxim's issue came up I figured I'd better ask. Except you are only allowed to license up to 3 properties per month.

    Wow! I'm thankful for the credit line, but surprised! I really thought I had planned better! I guess I'll see where I went wrong after the stats are out.

    I love steampunk, and I'm really glad it's gathered more of a following in recent years. However, I don't think GoH is the place for it. Everyone is entitled to build their own creations and write their own story so I'm not saying that it's "not permissible." The problem with steampunk is that it would require "steam" inventions. And that just isn't where GoH is at in it's overall story. We are dealing with the same request in the new BoBS game too. But especially for GoH, builders have been adding to its story and community for years now so there is somewhat of a precedent that can't be overridden just for one or two builders. I think it would be awesome if someone would start a similar game to GoH and BoBS with steampunk. But until then, I feel that steampunk builds should be submitted as standalone MOCs in the Sci-Fi forum. I'm actually planning out some Steampunk builds for this year. Maybe Blaze, myself, and a couple others (like Goliath) could do a collab of Steampunk builds. PM if you're interested!

It's right off of the main forums page which is also a useful page to browse if you are new here. And you should totally check out the Sea Rats page! We are small in number right now, but every doubloon we earn we earn for ourselves and not some stuck-up king or queen!

    Or you can get the new Rebels Battle Front pack, it has a lighter blue version of a Duros which is what Cad Bane is. The colors wouldn't be as close but it'd be a lot cheaper.

    So the MCRA form says "Remember, your vessel can only travel through as many zones as it has speed +2." I thought speed had to do with how many ports a vessel can visit? Does it also limit zones? So if my ship has a speed of 2, it can only visit 2 zones?

Spaceman Spiff Black Hair, the Pirate Merry Men Adventures (Where There's Lava There's Water) Car On A Plate Too Girly The intel provided by the captured Emboian had revealed that Mr. Graver, a former member of Kawashita who had defected when he learned that M.A.N.T.I.S. was offering Larva Fridays and diet pills to all new members, had fed the Emboians information about Kawashita in order to provoke the attacks that Ender had been facing. The Emboians are a fiercely loyal race who will protect anyone taken under their care. Mr. Graver had told the Emboians that Kawashita was in league with the Zoids and had actively declared war against Octan. This had led to the Emboian attacks against Kawashita. Knowing that Kawashita could not afford to be constantly watching their backs against an alien attack, Ender had been tasked with tracking down Mr. Graver and ending his propaganda. Kawashita's relationship with the other Corporations was strained at best. They didn't need someone going around saying they had declared war on anyone. Ender was following a lead on Graver that he had been traveling across the oceans of Arium Major not too long ago. He took a hovercraft out until his sensors should some recent activity on the ocean floor. Here he found some crates that looked like they had recently landed on the floor. He would take them back to his ship and have teh contents analyized to see if he could figure anything out about Graver's whereabouts.

    I'm glad you all like it so much! I'm not thrilled with how the sails turned out and have plans to improve them for a future version of the ship. The boat ended up being a lot bigger than planned but I didn't have the sails to really make them any bigger! I wish I had 3 more sets of the original Destiny's Bounty sails. As for the size, I do plan on upgrading this ship to a larger class once I have the DBs. It's just a Class 2 for now since that's free!

    I'm glad you all like it! I fully understand the need for high quality in freebuilds past the first two each month (though those should be high quality too!). I'm actually shocked at how many people voted for this! I expected to get maybe 3 or 4 votes because of the humor, not 10! I really wanted to build this to build on the idea of trained chickens that came up unwittingly from my house freebuild. The extra votes are just a bonus!

    Betting doesn't seem to be super popular right now as no one has taken me up on mine yet. Maybe everyone is just trying to protect their DBs

    I love the flat bottom boat look as well as the wings in the back! I think the cannons look a little big, and the pith helmets seem slightly more advance than the age of sail, but I know other players have used them already too so maybe it'll just become a BoBS thing to do.

    This is a nice little ship, but it looks more like a Class 1 in my book.
