Bent Technic Parts
CisFran replied to CisFran's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
For mudguards, you need to have two so you will need to bend another good one just to have a pair.. I haven't tried immersing it in hot water, but maybe it will work...hmmm -
Bent Technic Parts
CisFran posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I recently bought an incomplete technic model just for spare parts and found some parts that were bent / mis-shape I took some pictures, the middle ones are the defective ones. I put the 1x15 liftarm under the cabinet (to put some weight on) but after two days it's still the same. Any ideas??Are they salvageable or not? -
Not sure if this was posted before, but nice to watch every now and then.. (Kindly delete if re-post)

8043 B Model
CisFran replied to David83's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
yes I'm actually thinking of that also. I would just like to confirm if the others have the same experience or maybe I made an error building it or I missed something.. I can take out the 2x2 black plates with pin holes and the tracks will slightly bend as before but not that much.. -
8043 B Model

The tracks were already powered by two M motors and it's already fast. I'll try to switch to L motors and see how much faster it will go -
8043 B Model

for those who built their 8043-B model, is the front really wobbly? I put some supports mounted on the front motor (Axle #9, modified 2x2 black plates with pin holes, 90degrees connector and 1x3 liftarms) so that it will somehow be solid. I didn't play in any obstacles, just the flat surface of wooden floors and carpets. -
Just reviving a very old thread after 6.5 years LOL... Got a chance to buy the elusive 8674 for $80, with instructions but without box..Got a few parts missing but nothing major. Already ordered the missing parts in BL. For the price of it, who can complain? So after washing the parts and drying it, I started assembly and 7 hours later, here's what I have done...I'll continue again after I received the missing parts then a few more pages and couple of hours maybe.. The nose Body Compared it with my finished 8386 (which I also got cheap.. Also, this set came as a freebie from the 8674 seller..The seller said she will include some additional parts that I can use, I didn't expect it as another set Partially applied stickers 1 bag still unopened

Lego Technic Figures
CisFran replied to BasOne's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Those technic figures are minty fresh! -
buy the 8070 first since it's already discontinued. The department store in our place offered 8070 with 40% discount so I grabbed two sets. I'm still waiting for good offers for 42000 since it's just newly released.

S@H pick a brick increased their selling prices around 7%-8%.. The prices of their rectangular panels (grey and black) increased from CHF1.67/pc a week ago to CHF1.80/pc now -
Only US, Canada and UK have the free shipping promotion now. The rest of the countries will just have the Star Wars frigate as a freebie for the purchase of star wars sets
