    I usually get an image in my head of what I want to build, sometimes I even sketch it, but I never plan down to the brick. To me that takes part of the challenge out of building.

    Really even that might be a bit excessive, my army of Avalonian soldiers is around 10, I find my self using civilians a LOT more than troops.
