  1. Eurobricks is set up so you put the image URL between [image] and [/image] tags. Could you give an example of a URL with a prohibited image extension? As for Flickr itself, it's a Yahoo service. Of course it wants you to have a Yahoo email address to set up the account. That doesn't mean you have to *use* that e-mail address, though. I have my Flickr account that has some arcane email address, but I only use my (regular) personal address and my university email address. You could do the same.
  2. The LEGO Ideas guidelines basically prohibit political, religious, sexual and other content that is crude or could be contentious for whatever reason. They already have a standard of quality in place for photos, and ask for novel and creative projects. Aside from the guidelines, which I've already said set a basic benchmark for quality, the users on LEGO Ideas and the LEGO review teams will find and produce the marketable Ideas. There don't need to be more policies to do that. I know if I ran LEGO Ideas, I would be loath to stifle the creativity that is the project's driving force.
  3. Sitting out on the last game was nail-bitingly tense, so I'm in for this one! 1. I've played 8 games, I think, starting with Aperture Academy through Cosplay Mafia. 2. I have read the rules, and I am fond of the ban on posting PMs. 3. Games are games, and I don't like to see them get personal. Yes.
  4. As an observer, I had no clue what went on behind the scenes, but you were pretty sleazy at the start of the game and then you fished for information on Goliath's role. That made me, at least, confident you were scum.
  5. But you could significantly change the game's history by deciding to take back something you said - we can't enforce "spelling and grammar only" and, to be honest, I am not particularly offended by spelling and grammar mistakes, even on Eurobricks as a whole.
  6. Thanks for the review - this looks like a pretty solid and well-designed set. I think my favourite bird is the robin; makes me think of winter and Christmas like you say the blue jay does for you.
  7. Very simple but that makes it really good. The details above the grill bricks are a nice touch - but the interior doesn't really read like a hardware store.
  8. You can hide all of the tan bricks if you like.
  9. A good townie is not afraid to be wrong! It's the townie that doesn't want to be wrong who sheepishly sheeps and doesn't help the town. I'm surprised you said all that then gave me N/A rather than Fail - I totally accept that I did a miserable job of Day One, and that it was probably more my attitude than the bandwagon that did me in.
  10. From Dragonator's post in the index thread:
  11. Good job, everyone. Especially town, defeating those nasty scummos.
  12. The buildings you have are pretty small but the details are great, and I love the tiled runway! It allows a certain verisimilitude.
  13. I've interpreted that as you setting yourself up to be absolved of fault when I flip town tomorrow. Moving on.... So, has anyone counter-claimed me? I'd like to see some scummo try and pull that one. I can try to save someone tonight. You know what I won't be able to do if you lynch me? Try to save someone from a night-kill. You know what's better than lynching a townie? Not lynching a townie. What if the scum block me from now until the end because they know I'm the doctor now? Then I'm no better than vanilla, but at least I am a townie who can think and read and think to out the scum. What if they kill me tonight? Then you still won't have lynched me today. We only need a couple of people to unvote me, and then we'll be in a better place tomorrow. Let's do this.
  14. Your scumminess has nothing to do with using the list of people who are online (though I put very little stock in that list). It has everything to do with the 'well, shucks, if I had to do something, maybe I would do this' tone which oozes sleaze.
  15. Did you forget the bit about a person claiming miller almost always being miller?
  16. jluckhaupt, you're absolutely right. I'm being selfish and spiteful. Brickelodeon, it's easy for you to say that because you are scum. How about we play a game called "If you can counterclaim doctor, PM Mencot"? Because if anyone does counterclaim, then there'll be a roadmap to the scum.
  17. I have a few trivial things to share. The first regards Lind Whisperer. This post really rubbed me the wrong way, in that it seems like you were "helping" people accuse me without actually accusing me of anything. People have mentioned this before, but this looks like you're setting yourself up for an "I told you so" kind of moment when I flip town. Trust me, I did the same thing my first time in mafia school (as a scum). You know that rule refers to night actions, which happen at night, rather than votes, which happen during the day? Good job! And the fact you are making up an excuse to vote for me really seals the deal that you're setting up an "I told you so" for tomorrow. Unvote: Lord Duvors (Lord Duvors) Vote: Lind Whisperer (Lind Whisperer) My scum list currently consists of the following people: Lind Whisperer, Brickelodeon, TheLazyChicken and mostlytechnic. Also, I'm the doctor. So good job, scum, for pulling the wool over the town's eyes when all I ever wanted to do was to cut through the BS (and maybe get a little action on the side ). I only see one way out for the town here (hint: it's the deadboard).
  18. How do you do the mental gymnastics to think that's OK? Are you trying not to look wishy-washy when attention rolls properly around to you? Aww, thanks for the meta!
  19. You all were refusing to consider that there may be a miller in the game. The facts are that someone has claimed miller, and miller is one of the possible roles. It is very likely that there is a miller, and that Mencot is that miller. That is called reasoning, as opposed to being hopelessly dense.
  20. It's actually because you know I'm town but you can try to get the wagon off your scummy back by voting for me. I still cannot comprehend how calling out people's BS means I'm scummy. Enlighten me, please?
  21. That's rubbish. Aww, but I'm the cutest and fluffiest panda in the room! That's called roleplay, and your vote is rubbish. See above. Like I said about 25 hours ago, just because I am logged into the thread doesn't mean I am reading or paying attention to the game. I have, for the most part, been attempting to read on my phone today but, because of the sheer number of posts, it isn't terribly practical to do so. That's rubbish. "I will change my vote if to do so will come at a time when changing my vote is irrelevant and unimportant" Cutcobra seems to be deliberately dense and misinterpreting the things I say very clearly. That said, I don't at the moment believe he's scum. Call it a vibe.
  22. The moc is a bit spare in a classic-town sort of way, but it is still very nice. Have you considered adding a roof? The studs at the top of the facade look a bit out of place. On another note, the thumbnails you've posted are really small so I had to click through to see them on flickr. It's not a huge deal, but it's nice to be able to see the details in-thread. Good job!
  23. I accused people of being scum because they were either completely oblivious or were deliberately confusing the town; I fail to see why those are pointless reasons. Also, where does Day One get without accusations? If you think that scum are in lockstep in-thread, that's just plain wrong.
  24. Ah, but there's a subtle distinction. There were people who didn't believe Mencot because they didn't believe Mencot, and there were those who didn't believe Mencot because "this is Mafia School, there's no way Dr. def would put a miller in the setup." The latter are the ones I accused of being scum. You are of the former group. I was just turning your words around on you. Mencot and I aren't a team, just as you, Scaevola and Lord Duvors aren't a team. And if we were, do you really think we'd be in lockstep in the thread? Hinckley did that setup in Minimal Mafia, but that is exceedingly unusual.
