  1. Oh, I liked that movie! I don't need to be told I was accusing people of being scum. I was unapologetically accusing people of being scum because they were denying the straight-up facts of this situation. And when you deny the facts (namely that a miller is possible in this game), you are confusing the town. Scum or not, that's mighty anti-town behaviour. That is a matter of opinion. At least Goliath comes up with his own ideas, no matter how silly. If you can't be bothered to read (especially the Rules and Strategies sections that Dr. def gave us), then you don't deserve to play. I'm going to Vote: Lord Duvors (Lord Duvors) Lord Duvors and Scaevola, Cutcobra has really got your back today. I wonder why he would trust you so much in the first day? Make that Vote: Lord Duvors (Lord Duvors)
  2. Lord Duvors: I actually couldn't tell that your statement about information was meant to be in-character. Cutcobra: Whereas my comments about lynching those of us who are not cute and fluffy is meant clearly to be in-character.
  3. Dr. def was the other option, but he doesn't make sense as a blame target since we can't lynch him. I'm glad we clarified what you meant.
  4. I hate to rehash this again and again, but here goes: I didn't have access to information you didn't, but I read what was available. You didn't, indicating a lack of attention. Scaevola jumped right on the idea that a miller is 'too advanced' for Mafia School, indicating that he, too, had not read Dr. def's original post in its entirety. Do you mean Goliath? You seem to have backed away rather quickly from your accusations. Trying to see what sticks against a townie?
  5. Just want to pop in and say that just because I'm active in the thread doesn't mean I'm busy reading or even thinking about the game. I have been quiet because there hasn't been much to say recently on my end. I find it surprising you (collectively) think I'm scum because I got abrasive because you so willfully were not reading the thread. My scum list currently consists of Scaevola and Lord Duvors for particularly willfully not paying attention, and Goliath for stealing the show and dragging his accusations out so far.
  6. Care to share? Is this what counts as sharing? Proof only comes when someone dies. That's a bit much to ask.
  7. But it isn't pointless to call people out for denying the very possibility of a miller. The possibility of a miller in this game is not an opinion, it is a fact.
  8. Just because Dr. def posted a vague outline doesn't mean that the sides have exactly the night actions posted. Also, since the miller doesn't have a night action, it's basically a sub-role of 'vanilla'. Day One doesn't get anywhere without accusations. For what it's worth, you're definitely pointing fingers.
  9. Nope. No special information. I just did the "assigned reading", so to speak. I understand that people who claim miller on Day One tend actually to be millers, because scum like to fly under the radar and not draw attention to themselves. It is pointless to suggest that some roles are "too advanced" for a Mafia School, since Dr. def gave a list of roles (quoted above) from which our roles are drawn. The miller is in that list. Furthermore, the first time I went to Mafia School, the scum had a Framer which, according to mafiawiki, is explicitly not normal. To play WIFOM with a Day One miller claim is to introduce doubt without actually being helpful. So those of you who doubt there could be a miller in this game have either not done their reading or are scum.
  10. Sounds good. Keep in mind that today, we must vote for the most anti-town person. If that person turns out to be a townie, that is no huge deal, because then we shall have separated a goat from the sheep. Or a raccoon from a panda? Or a dog from a cat? I can swing it any way you like it. Xenophobic Monoxide, keep in mind that the Miller is explicitly normal according to the link Dr. def gave. Or are you trying to sow seeds of doubt amongst the town?
  11. My favourite character from Sherlock is Irene; she can do great things with a furry panda like me.
  12. I think we should vote for the person who is least cute and fluffy! The scum amongst us cannot be cute and fluffy if they are scheming to kill us.
  13. I prefer women but panda-self can be flexible... giggity!
  14. The helicopter, submarine and hot rod are all fantastic. They are such well-put-together vehicles.
  15. Hey everyone! I'm here dressed as a giant panda. Look how kawaii des I am! So, who's up for a threesome?
  16. I'd like to sign up. My turn preferences are: 8 4 12 Thanks for organizing this!
  17. We don't see that many airports around here, but this is great - it has enough details, it's big enough, the look is consistent throughout. I agree that the older, smaller planes are better.
  18. When you design something in LDraw or LDD or any of the many digital LEGO tools, the medium is still LEGO. The goal is not to create a digital model of a Thing; the goal is to create a LEGO model of a Thing and the best way to do it (for reasons of convenience, expense, whatever) is digitally.
  19. Yes, thank you. It looks great!
  20. I don't see it; I still have the summer skin. Is there a way to customize the skin that I see?
  21. I want to improve my playing, so I'd like to join, too. I suppose I'll be a male character.
  22. A few things I noticed: the diner is nice (broken glass!), the use of the train cab for the truck is clever (but the truck's bonnet seems too narrow, somehow) and the scaffolding on the roof of the garage is a great way to provide structure to the MOC.
  23. The framing of the facade around the storefronts and the brown brick-work is lovely to look at. The texture on the wall at the noodle shop is nice and the sign above is so clean!
