Unrest in the Forest - Day 7: Permanent Waves
jimmynick replied to Walter Kovacs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
a) There doesn't have to be a godfather b) It's wrong to assume that a godfather will have been investigated. Collectively, we investigated me, Clem, Bruce, Simon and Sammy. Clem and I got NKed early. We can't say that Sammy is the godfather "because there has to be one." -

Adelaide! -
I must admit it's been a while since I've seen an episode of Poirot, but your figures look good. Poirot looks like David Suchet! I like the settee and side-table in the main room, and I like what I can see of the smaller office. Your photography is great and provides a sense of immersion.

Unrest in the Forest - Day 7: Permanent Waves

I did point that out at the time. Let's lynch Adelaide today! If there is a Day 8 then we can look into Sammy or Lassie. Berty would like to point out that Sue is practically confirmed because she hammered Jack. I think Simon just posted in the wrong thread . I also think Adelaide is the only one who had any thought that Jack was cleared. We already established that Clem and I investigated each other on Night Two. -

Did n3610 know about n4913? -
I like the sense of action you've created, of all the banknotes falling down from the tower. Good build!

Hello! I don't make things very often (I haven't touched LDD or bricks for at least 4 months) and my activity on the forum comes and goes, but I've been thinking about how people present their MOCs. What makes a good presentation? Some people put lots of backstory with their MOCs, and others make videos. Perhaps it's just me, but I lack the patience to read lots of text or watch a video to see content that could have been summarized in just a few photos. I know what I like: a few photos of the MOC with a reference picture if necessary. That's how I tend to post the things that I make, too. When you see a MOC, what are you interested in? A few photographs of the whole MOC, or many photos of all the details? Do you like to see videos? Do you like to read a story that tells the history of the building or scene you built? Are there things you particularly like or particularly don't like? Is there anything I should change in the way I present my MOCs on the occasion I do build? Is there anything you would change about the way you present your MOCs?

Unrest in the Forest - Day 6: Hemispheres

I think, like with the Hazel lynch, the lack of votes is telling. It's interesting that Adelaide has been sittin gat 3 votes for a while, Jack has had 1 and there has been talk about Lassie but only one (rescinded) vote. Also, why would Sammy be upset that we "wasted" an investigation clearing him? Is he the godfather? -

Sounds about right. The thought occurred to me, but surely if that's the case there should be other reasons than trunk size? -

I think it's going to send us on a wild goose chase if we start thinking about how big people's trees are. -

I'm not fond of Sue being very wishy-washy and carefully voting for Hazel after the ninth vote had been reached. On the other hand, I'm intrigued by the two kills on Night Two and no janitors, when we know the vig went out that night. So Jack could be an SK or a janitor, and I think it is worth going after him for that. -

Catarina and I were wondering - what if this is Witch Hunt Mafia Redux? -

n3610 RPMS n136 or vice versa? What happened to XESA n7019 SUXT claudio & Conrade n4774 & 6196 n4913? I've mostly experienced one killer, and the killing action gets passed around when the killer dies. I'm not going to assume that is or isn't the case here, but we can all agree someone who isn't Peter will be doing the scum killing tonight. -

This is another good point, Adelaide. In terms of numbers, Sue voted for Hazel when she already had 9 out of 8 votes required for a lynch. -

Probably related to this: So we can cheat or we can assume the dead player is actually scum or we can ignore what Berty's saying. I'm with Simon that it would be horrible not to reveal scum's flips and also to have a janitor. -
Is the 'xmas spirit' egg nog by any chance? Lovely MOC, and thanks for updating the post - I missed it the first time around.

I think the 911 would look like a 911 without the stickers. The LaFerrari and the 918, on the other hand...

What if I told you that I investigated Simon because interesting things happen around him? And that's because people blab to Simon? And that Bruce blabbed to Simon? Whom Clem investigated on Night One? The possibility of us getting connected was not so remote, and we were very diligent about making sure we were legit because it would be easy for a scum to claim cop to Simon because people blab to him. Good point, Adelaide. Looks like it! Again, do you want me to say the name of n9254's role and see if it prompts anyone else to claim to you? -

N1 6196 & Conrade n4913 N2 6196 & Conrade n4861 N3 6196 & Conrade n4636 (SWZM to n4209) N4 6196 & Conrade n1915 (SWZM to n4209) Sorry I'm confusing you . Should I say the name of the role to get anyone with the same role to claim to you? I can corroborate what Simon says. -

8501 is right. The action did both 8501 and Conrade. I must have mixed up something, but we're clear now. -

I disagree. Chester has too much black in his foliage to be the tree that is shown. Also, the roots seem inconsistent. Given that Alder said "another tree", implying that we perhaps aren't supposed to know the identity of the mystery tree. -
