  1. I like what you have done on the above update. That dark blue sloped brick by the rear wheel looks like it could provide some options. H
  2. It needs body work to look like something. It's not recognisable as a vehicle at the moment so something to make it look like it means business. I don't have those wheels or maybe I would build it and add my own bodywork. H
  3. You are onto something here. I would want to use system panels for the rear bodywork. From the side view all looks well until you get just past the rear passenger door, then things go down hill. I would use system for the rear wheel arches too. But I take my hat off to you for what you have done so far. Please stick with the blue colours. H
  4. excellent work! H
  5. It needs a winch and better body work. H
  6. Good review. i'm not a fan of the vehicle but I like the app technology. I saw the set in the shops today and was not impressed. The app however is very good and should improve. If they had done a Crawler MK2 (9398) with the new controls I would seriously consider it. The new CV joints look great ( I will try and get some of those), I like the new hubs but why not a 9V battery box ? H
  7. A Lego genius. I have admired many of his models. His creations will live on. H
  8. Thanks for the reviews. I found the Transporter ramps to be a bit flimsy, especially on the trailer. There should be some studded beams in there to strengthen it up. The control knobs could be bigger too. However, I do prefer the B model from what I have seen. The Spider crane needs large pneumatics for the outriggers. H
  9. At first it looks like an empty shell but you have some good work going underneath the body. I like the simplicity of the seats, gear stick and the steering wheel. Excellent work. H
  10. Thanks for posting the video. I'm not a fan of the set but I see potential with the new control hub. H
  11. The monster truck is fabulous. The land rover is good (better than the 2019 set coming out) but there is something not right about the front for me. I will have to build it and see for myself. H
  12. Thanks for the images. It looks too smooth for me, more creator expert than technic. Not a set for me but I look forward to the reviews when they come out. H
  13. It's an interesting debate that will always divide opinion. We could look at it in a different way, you are not printing lego parts. You are creating/printing your own parts to assist in building a model with predominantly lego parts. I think as long as the builder/moc creator is honest and shows the parts they have created then its ok by me. I personally like the challenge of using lego parts in different ways and learning. If you make your own gears, sprockets or pneumatic solutions (including LA's) it might be more accepted than if you were making your own bricks (which might get you in court or worse). Your sprocket is very good so keep at it. H
  14. Nice to see the studded beams used on the boom! Excellent work as always. What next ? H
  15. Very nice indeed and original but it does look a bit fragile. H
  16. I have seen one of those on the roads. A very accurate and good looking moc. I thought your first image was the real thing! H
  17. I know those parts well. Yes they always break but after all these years I think the trick is to pinch the end with your fingers as you put the axle through. I've done that recently with the 5 long half beams and they seem to not break (so far). I think storage conditions and age also play a part. I was considering repairing some as mentioned above with some glue but I will see. H
  18. You have put some effort into this moc. I like it. It looks very heavy duty and really aggressive. You should give yourself more credit and try not to get frustrated when trying to finish a moc or anything else (its something I have had to learn in everything I do). Would love to see a video of the functions in action. H
  19. Wow! I looked through the high res images and I see technic beams for the frame. A very well constructed space ship/cruiser. Reminds me of the original lego space ships with your colours. You have just taken lego space to another level. H
  20. Are you using the larger springs at the front and rear ? H
  21. A lot of functions from that gear/switch box. I would love to see it. I like the three switches on each side of the truck. Very neat. H
  22. Ok so the front end is not great looking from the side view but the moc as a whole works for me. It looks neatly constructed, the colours work and you packed it with functions. H
