Sweet MOC! The door handle is awesome, though I'm not sure I could bring myself to break a LEGO chain to do it... I do have to wonder what kind of nasty Nocty wood they're burning to put out yellow smoke.
-
I like this quite a bit! And while I do agree with the negative comments about the barrel lids, I think the big grey wall is awesome here.

That crazy roof somehow works. Blowing my mind man, blowing my mind.

I really like the base for this. It's a great compromise between the borderless and bordered MOCs.

MEC Category A: 'The Watcher in the Water'
mrcp6d replied to Bugbot2008's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
The Watcher is gnarly looking for sure Nice work! -
Nice way to combine the categories, I'm planning on doing the same thing for my "Men" entry. Great minds right? I think a bit more detail/sloping inside the hand would help out a bit. The transition is kind of rough for a ruin.

Oh jeez, this is fantastic. The angle and the olive green as moss make this quite special.

Farmer Maggot's Work Horse - AoM: Mill Phase I

I'm seeing some Gunman craziness here with the roof, and that is certainly NOT a bad thing. The scythe is awesome too, I'll have to remember that! -
I'm with mccoyed on this one. I love the concept, it works very well for an Avalonian mage. I'm not sold on the helmets for the path however. I think you've used them very effectively for rocks in a wall before; but here, they're way too round and slick for a walking surface.

Another very nice dwarven statue! The belt made of 1x1 tiles on a 45 is an amazing detail.

There's a lot to look at here, especially with the 16x16 size. Well done

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
mrcp6d replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
It's been done quite a bit over the past two years. What seems to be frowned upon is using the same structure and swapping out the figs/flags from LCC/LoR to GoH (or the other way around). -
Yeah, I love BURPs and LURPs since they cover a lot of vertical and horizontal space and, as you've discovered, aren't that hard to disguise if you've got a few 2x tall slopes. Good work here overall, though if the cheese was pearl gold, you would have sold the 'mining' part better.

I hope for the LEGO community that this is only an interlude. We'll miss you for sure. I hope for you that you learn some things about yourself during your service. I have the utmost respect for those in uniform. I hope you can stay as safe as you can and return back to your family, country and friends!

Gorgeous sculpture LD! The facets really bring a heavy dose of Peter Jackson's dwarves.

Issac, that bear print is incredible!

This is really good stuff. A very effective use of space with all those crops. That's also probably the best LEGO corn I've seen.

Ah, that clears it up just fine. Thanks!

I'd count up the stud area you're looking to cover and multiply that by 5 or 6. -
Fan-freakin'-tastic. The bits of non-dark blue in the roof look amazing and the shaping of the building is great. Any way I could get some more pics of the cart? I can't figure out how you got the horizontal bars stuck to the axle/bed of the cart. How so? They look great

Very nice! I love the architecture and the concept. This would have worked very well for Book I, Challenge 1!

Not sure how you did it, but this feels both busy and a bit relaxed. Nice work on that curve too, the necessary gaps aren't too noticeable.

Hot-diggity! It's finally started! If this is the sign-up thread, I'll play on the "men's" team.

Nice series! The snow is very well done and it's nice to see some colder MOCs for Mitgardia. Lately, there's been a lot of green... My favorite pic is the one with the bird.

Ugh, I really need to get some of those CMFs! This is a nice little vig, perfect for barracks 1.
