Well this is cool and futuristic Particularly like the fact you've got the two racers with the same design, that kind of repetition is always nice.

This is such a simple build but so rich with story. I like how you're playing Andromeda's Gates, it's great seeing people approaching it from different angles

Planet: D04 Terrial Minor Tags: Exploration In an engineering lab, 3 months earlier. Here are the truck schematics you asked for, Commander! I don't remember asking for it to be "extra small"! This is the optimal size for preserving the environment. Great! Let's post this design to Kawashita's environmental charity branch. Oh wait, we don't have one! Make it bigger! ~~ On the rocky plains of Terrial Minor lives a rare and mysterious creature, that we call the "plog". It uses its two suckers for everything, from walking to eating. The bubbly eyes are well adapted for 360 degree vision... uh... Well... Of course it also comes in a "flat" variety as well. Kawashita has made an excellent discovery. ~~~ Did you feel something, Commander? Don't be ridiculous, the suspension is excellent! It's like driving on air! This vehicle is great, those engineers need a practical man like me to show them how to design a truck!

Do you reuse the walls or do you build it up again each week?

Funny once again, Sal. Excellent pool table and all that. I do have one critique though! It uses the same standard lab style of yours, right down to the door with experiment number. This would have been a great opportunity to flex those building muscles, could have used a new colour or at least given it a non-lab door The bar area where you've deviated from the lab style is a really nice part of the build

Nice work! Your builds are always so complex and look so delicate. The car piece works very nicely as you placed it. Very fitting that you're travelling in Japan. Bring back lots of inspiration for us

What a great little insect! I want to step on it

I like the optimism of a 3 day week - now that would make judging tough! With a 14 day schedule, I hope the resource gains would be increased by a factor of 1.5 or 2. The game is already long-term, no need to double that. But really, I think 7 days is excellent. Frantic, and no big deal if someone has to skip one. Koro is one of our best and he's skipped a couple, it's really not an issue. And you know what? As someone with a relatively smaller collection, I'm building about as big as I can each week already, given the diversity of colours needed for exploration. Mine would only get 20% bigger for twice the time, while people with big collections could happily make something twice the size without a problem. The fast timeframe is a great equalizer there.

Stick it in the rules! Anyone who forgets can only blame themselves then! -

I am very much enjoying weekly building. The constant pressure is exciting, both because of the scramble for tactics and the build rush. It keeps the pace up for the strategy game, and frankly it was kinda fun when I had been piecing together a larger build over a few weeks that I got to unveil it as just another part of the weekly games. Slowing it down would mean that the game would go from being ~9 months long to being ~18 months, and take away some of the frantic energy. If you would personally like to build bi-weekly, go for it! No-one will pressure anyone here. I'm only getting a handful of hours of free time each week around my studies, so this is edging out my other main hobby. If I wanted, I'd slow down and do that instead, but frankly I find this super enjoyable and am happy spending my free time here. Thanks to Bob and co for that.

It gets rebooted every 20 years, your gramp's gramp was watching the same film as you but with slightly worse quality and not starring Jargo Borgman as hunky Rockatansky. But of course you wouldn't know that, engineers are always uncultured.

Nice vehicles, although management would like to speak to you about timewasting and using company resources... I have made an example of you in the transmission.

Great tank, and that is one monumental garage! I can't help but feel you and Nuck are on the same wavelength with these!

Nice one! I like how you've tied the build and the story so tightly, works very well.

Great work again Sal. It's always good to see you at work, not least because you do more harm than good to your company! Building up the baseplate with white snow makes it work pretty well considering, and I like the photo editing. I think Vesa Lehtimäki is the hero for special effects and he does a really good talk about it here. I thought this was pretty inspiring, maybe you will too

You've packed a lot into 8x8, I'm impressed! My only suggestion would be for the base to be the same colour as the rock, so they can blend together well. I'd suggest adding an extra tile or two but then you'd have no place to put the figs! The robot is also a good little build. Thanks for the cameo, too! I've got a Dragonfire hairpiece coming in the mail, hopefully soon I'll get hold of a 9488 set so I can do a decent cameo of you and/or Graham soon

Nice mech! I'm always a fan of bionicle/hero factory parts being used inventively, here it makes a good technical build. And Sal's right, the hinge tool is annoying enough on 2D hinges, don't know how you have the patience for this! I also enjoy the irony of calling it "The Finishing Touches", as the final build of the week.

I meant that, got the letters muddled up. So to do what Bob's suggesting, you'd need to build a ship, enter it, then build an interior all by the 16th. Correct?

But Category B's deadline is before Category C, plus B needs 5+ seats to qualify...

While I don't claim to understand your team's tactics in going for C04 instead of D03, I can't deny that this is a cool looking build.

4011 is definitely too small unless you're using two as catamarans. The main risk there is tipping. Sariel has weight-tested the boat hulls he owns, I would recommend asking him. (Report the results back here!)

I like how your story is progressing, I'm curious to see what you've got planned with this. I think the interrogation room is also justified in having little detail, since it's not exactly a place where people stick posters up.

You could ask for Bob to make an alien emblem for you to earn, I bet that would be possible. Or an upgrade to your damage capability... Not sure I should be suggesting that!
