  1. Just need to throw a new badge sticker on the torso! ...and maybe add the gold epaulets
  2. That may just be that particular Target. Transformers Generations Deluxe figures, several months ago, at one store were $14.99... but at another a few miles away were $18.49 or something similar. Toys R Us has Voyagers for $24.99, Target sells the same toy for $28.99. "Prices may vary".
  3. ...as would clone brands, hence "clone brands" since they're meant to be compatible with Lego. In addition to the SG-1 ship, it's also in this set:
  4. They are releasing several EpVII sets this summer, if the lists we've seen are accurate. September 4th is when they hit shelves... over 2 weeks before Autumn begins!
  5. Nice, funny series! But you missed one: the gent down on the lower left of the group shot, with the Conquistador helm!
  6. Ideas can also be used to show interest in a given theme/project... like, a 10,000-piece Minas Tirith wouldn't get made, but getting 10k votes might show Lego that there's a market for some sorta Minas Tirith set with Gondor troops, a Gothmog figure, and a helmeted Witch-King on Fel Beast But using it for a Star Wars vehicle we're practically guaranteed to get anyway seems a little silly... tho it's a very nice-looking build!
  7. Unless different parts of the ship are featured (like the bunks where Han, Chewie, and guests would sleep if necessary--all we ever really saw was the med-bed Luke was in) I don't expect too many differences. The main dejarik-table area we saw in ANH is likely very much the same!
  8. It's a BrickForge cow, they've got a few kinds (udders optional!). Nice little build, tho I agree about lowering the water level. I like seeing different interpretations of the AoM phases!
  9. Welp, that just confirms for me that getting a pair (or quartet) of Shadow Guards to be the Inquisitor's flunkies is a good idea!
  10. I think I've mentioned before that BrickFortress has short legs that move... I bought several a couple years ago and am itching to place another order now that they have dark green & dark brown. They're slightly taller than Lego's short legs, so that might be enough for you (tho it's very slight) Another option--not ideal since it involves work every time to move the character--is just using 2 1x2 plates. I did that for my Wicket the Ewok minifig, since he should be shorter than all the other Ewoks (except perhaps Paploo, tho I don't have Paploo yet). It works great for lining up on a shelf, but placing securely in a build is where the work would come in, having to remove the plate that'll inevitably stick to the base rather than the figure. Tall or short, your dwarves look great! Love the Gimli helms with Fantasy dwarf beards. Beautiful build overall!
  11. I wouldn't mind seeing those, but they could present a challenge. What would be set against the Senate Commandos? A BP full of Battle Droids and/or Droidekas is dull to me... but for the Geonosis Troopers, a pack of Geonosians might actually be nice. The ITT is tough to make opposition for because right now in Rebels, there is no Rebel Alliance, and so no Rebel Troopers. However, with the Shadow Troopers--TFU-inspired--you could easily make a pack of General Kota's troops (perhaps two of those, and two regular RFTs).
  12. Of the conference room group, the only ones we can safely assume are on the station when it's destroyed are Tarkin and Bast. We can also presume Motti is still there, because he's a big champion of the Death Star... Tagge, however, may have bailed after that meeting, and it's possible Yularen left as well (he's seen while Luke & Han are transporting Chewie, wearing a black cap--and his black trousers, of course--striding thru the halls; he may have been on the way to a transport off the station). But even if he did survive somehow, the odds of him being, say, Max Von Sydow's character in TFA are slim... still, if cybernetics and other therapies could extend his life, maybe? It'd be a fairly unexpected twist, one fans would appreciate even if it was largely meaningless to general audiences, and it'd give him & Rey a connection to the Skywalkers (if Rey isn't descended from them herself)... Yularen did work closely with Anakin, after all.
  13. ...or the arrival of a new film is reason enough to repackage the existing Vader voice changer, in the Episode 7 packaging that will likely dominate most of the toy line (aside from Rebels, perhaps; TFA figures will likely dominate both the 3.75" scale--'Saga Legends/Mission Series' as well as Black Series--and the 6" scale for the better part of a year)
  14. The reason there isn't a full swap for Uni-Kitty's head is because it was never intended; the extra holder, ear, and horn are just normal extras. Had they included enough parts for it, there would be a total of 3 horns, 3 holders, and 5 ears because there are almost always extras of those parts due to the way the items are sorted/weighed/whatever.
  15. You can see the tubes on the table on the right side of the pic
  16. Not exactly. None of them enclose the pilot, for one thing...
  17. Some Targets are marking down the Clones Vs Droidekas, if you're lucky enough to find them.
  18. Saw most of the new sets at a local Target today, but resisted the temptation to buy any due to wife aggro after getting so many sets for Christmas The only new Micro Fighter missing was the AT-AT, of course... Nice to see the BPs up close. Still not a fan of the "sad" Stormies, and up close you can tell on the box art where the proper sculpted groove for the "mouth" should be, with the Rebels "mouth" above it. Gonna wait for some sorta sale to pick up some stormies, a pack or two of Shadow Troopers, and a set of Senate Commandos. I keep telling the "ooo, shiny new things!" part of my brain that these will be available for a year or more. Saw that all the Series 1 Microfighters were being clearanced.
  19. Fans wanted more Star Wars. Naming and exploring the backstories of background characters from the films was one major way Lucasfilm provided that. Of course it makes sense they have names... Nobody is walking around with the actual name "Squid-head". And Yularen, unlike many others, was developed a bit more in TCW.
  20. His most famous appearance! But yeah, looking forward to adding him to the conference room. Sadly, not the high-ranking white-uniformed Imperial I was hoping for this May the 4th... But a welcome addition as well!
  21. It's been ages since I've played the game, but there are various Lego and 3rd party Twi'lek hair pieces for Twi'lek versions of Jaden Korr, a few Rodian heads, and sadly only the one Kel Dor head really. But you can cobble together many different versions of Jaden if you want to. The same 3rd party Twi'lek producers probably have the red parts necessary to make Alora. Rosh Penin can likely be made from existing parts, and a decent Kyle can probably be made as well.
  22. One slight difference... He actually had black pants in ANH (he, or a VERY similar ISB officer, is seen walking around in an officer's cap while Han and Luke are escorting Chewie around, I think... white tunic, black pants)
  23. Good idea with Orrimaarko! But for the Final Duel, the Ewok Village Luke would be a mistake. The tunic flap only falls down as Palpatine is frying him with lightning; during the actual duel, the flap is up. So the same style would be nice, same level of detail, but a new torso print.
  24. Flash Speeder sounds good, I like speeders... Naboo Starfighter, meh, already got the 2011 one. Maybe it'll have a full Ric Olie with both hair and helmet. The Imp Assault Carrier sounds interesting, but strange to be linked to Classics as nothing really fits that description aside from the Landing Craft--which is unlikely in the same wave as the shuttle. I would've pegged it as the Rebels carriers seen in several episodes, or the craft carrying the stormies in TFA's teaser, as a preview set or something. Glad to see the shuttle, I agree that Endor Luke is long overdue. I updated mine with a non-chrome saber, flesh hand, a post-2008 Luke head, and dark tan hair (just like the Ewok Village Luke) when he's not wearing a helmet. Han with printed trenchcoat would be nice, too; made my own with a 3rd party coat, but looking forward to an official one with it printed on like Star Lord or Aragorn. Final Duel as a DS2 set could be nice; we need a "flap-up" version of Ewok Village Luke for the actual duel, and it'd be a great place to debut the new Vader helmet (especially if it's in two pieces!), along with a non-gray head for him.
  25. Great idea! Loved the "oversized man" mentions, and the Regan-reference title. I witnessed such logging truck oddities a couple times myself over the years.
