  1. I think it could work. I find myself sometimes looking at comments and wanting to "like" or "upvote" it. It could promote less of an incentive to comment on a post, since you could just show your support and approval with the button, but I'd imagine it would be similar to a poll, and poll threads usually still have a good amount of comments on them. Have to disagree with you there. All it would do is show who "liked" it (or it could just show the amount of people). The "inaneness" wouldn't occur because posts and topics would still be monitored and looked over for spam, inappropriateness, etc.
  2. When I was a little kid I used to believe they came alive as soon as I left the room. I'd definitely try to contain them, and let them live and create their own world, build cities, farm for food, fight their own battles, all while I watch from a tinted window looking into the room, so they wouldn't know I existed. It would be the coolest experiment ever!
  3. Yes I second that. From what I understand there are a lot of FOLs in Massachusetts. Hope you're all okay.
  4. Great find! I love all the detail here and it's well fit into the pirate theme
  5. I like them Keep 'em comin'
  6. Looks good I like how you did the rigging. Planning on making it in the flesh?
  7. Great army! The decals look very nice
  8. That would be awesome, although the theme would have to be pirates vs the merchants. I'm not so sure how it would sell, given that TLG tends to have two fighting factions.
  9. Ah yes I know the YouTube channel Welcome back, I guess? Anyway, the ship looks awesome, and thats quite an army you have Ever gonna finish the final battle?
  10. Nice find! The ship looks very strong!
  11. It's nice and lively . I agree that a couple more cannons would be nice for the top part, as well as some dock sticking out from the main structure.
  12. I've noticed this with hats as well, especially the bicorn. I guess it just comes down to wear and tear. Some old bricks just don't work the way they used to .
  13. PAB walls are nice, but I still find myself getting most of my bricks from bricklink, even with a store so close.
  14. Looking good! I can imagine this must take a lot of effort
  15. Yes how is this a scam?
  16. It's nice. I'm not a huge fan of the yellow and grey, but I like the overall look.
  17. Of course I knew it was a joke. And a hilarious one at that! Nice work admins, can't wait for next time
  18. I've seen many MOCs on ebay, though I'd be willing to bet they don't sell as well as complete sets. I'm not sure about copyright issues, but I don't think it should be a big deal.
  19. I agree, is it possible to set one up here?
  20. So does this mean anything for a Battlefront 3?
  21. For me it also depends on the set. Most just eventually get dismantled. I have several still together, and I think they'll stay together. To give you an average time though, I'd say about 3-6 months.
  22. Great start! The hull does look very nice
  23. I've never just given up while building a set. I never think that buying LEGO can be a mistake (unless you get broke over it ). If I decide I don't like the set I can just take it apart and have more spare bricks .
  24. I've seen ostrich farms before. And damn if I wanted one I'd get one! 'murica
