Everyone, from viewing the images if the Simpsons figure series, I've devised a dichotomy for finding the Simpsons figures by parts, from most common to least common between the sixteen figures. Does anyone want to see it? I've outlined it on paper but I can transfer it to computer. Hope it helps! It's a similar dichotomy that I use mentally when finding other past CMFs.

Great and me too! :D so you know how much of a resource is available for LEGO itchy and scratchy gore.

This is highly possible, considering all the other DVD releases TLG made for animated shorts like The Empire Strikes Out and included a new variation of Darth Vader. Either they would release the episode as a separate DVD or just include it with the season box set for the other Simpsons episodes. Hmm, thinking that it's a tv show episode as much as a Lego tv special, they might release it with another few episodes? As done with other tv shows such as Spongebob, a group of episodes (5 or so) would get wrapped up into a DVD release long before the season box set. I don't know if the show the Simpsons has ever done it that way before though. If you need visual inspiration, I know just the place! The Brick Bible, both Old Testament and New Testament, by Brendan Powell Smith, is am excellent source for violence in LEGO form. Putting religion aside it has high quality details of such gore as decapitation, stabbings in the torso and even blood baths with guts. Check it out.

REVIEW: 71005 LEGO Minifigures - The LEGO Simpsons Series
Maniac4Legos replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm going to summarize my thoughts very quickly so that I do not waste time. This is the first review that I have ever seen from WhiteFang and perhaps the first or close to first review I have seen from this website by any member. This review is very carefully put together so that any user can understand the subject , background and production of this Lego series. WhiteFang has an excellent way of describing in detail all of the components that make this series worthwhile collecting. Although I noted a few mistakes in grammar or spelling I was able to read this thoroughly and understand exactly what he was explaining. As a small time Simpsons fan I am impressed with this series and the delivery that WhiteFang provides in his details and opinions to the Lego community. I also appreciated that he took the time to distribute all of the series figures from the box and determine their ratio of distribution. This user has made it very convenient and very time-saving for us to look for the figures in a timely manner. Through this review I have also begun to appreciate these figures more than I would have just by looking at the images. With a comical style he adds specific comparisons to other series figures in the past and even switches bodies so that they figures are shown to be versatile. In short, excellent job to this user and I look forward to more reviews.- 118 replies

Brickset posted a review with images of a rare Hero Factory polybag. "It's currently very rare: it's not even listed at BrickLink yet and I can't find any on eBay. However, you can get hold of it for free from Toy Hub Direct when you spend over £15 on HERO Factory sets." The review: http://brickset.com/article/10655 Images can also be seen on the Brickset flickr page.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion
Maniac4Legos replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Okay thanks for letting me know. I assume you're talking about the 2012 show since that's the one lego based their TMNT from. Maybe they're saving it up for something special? Like a set with him as an exclusive figure. -
You're very welcome. Anything for a friend :)

I know where to find some small train wheels cheap. The polybag Rapunzel's Market Visit is available from Walmart at $3.97. As far as train parts, it has the small wheels used for such models as minecarts and push carts. Useful for smaller trains. It also has a trailer hitch ball joint piece, compatible with Mixels and Chima Legend Beasts. Not sure if this counts as a train piece, more likely a City piece.

Yay I'm a Citizen! What does that mean?

Thank you for the help! I had two questions though. My notifications aren't sent to my email, even though I have my email set up. Why can't I receive email notifications? I do not comprehend the Vassal, Citizen, Knight and other rankings. As a Citizen, am I the lowest of the members on this site? What does each order signify in terms of abilities? Is there a way to advance or is it a caste system? -
This is an excellent MOC! I can see you really too some time (and maybe outside inspiration?) to create this factory model. As I scanned each picture, the model become realistic to me. All the small areas of detail brought the model to life even though it is abandoned. Instead of being plain, this model has character and depicts the ages and tear of its outside walls and railroad tracks. What I thought was create was how you used 2 black triangular plates inside on of the rooms. (Look closely by the image with a rat, you'll see slanted line between to plates). It's a creative technique when you're low on large plates, but it also made me wonder about the floor being cracked in a direction other than the tiles that may have once been installed there :D it's a thought outside the box! The rustic yet modern look of this model is well done. Great job, fellow Eurobricks user!

Although I made a trip to my local Toys R Us, I did not buy anything. I was tempted to buy the Eagles' Castle, which is 50% off regular price ($22.49). But I only went to browse. Sorry!

Sounds like a great idea! LEGO brings me a joy that goes beyond the concept of being a plaything. LEGO inspires new ideas beyond play, such as animation and art designs. More recently, LEGO has even taught me about mechanics and engineering. When I drove home from school today, I stopped at a red light and noticed the construction surrounding me. While most commuters find this to be a drag on traffic, I was fascinated with the movements of the construction vehicles. I understood the movements of an excavator in LEGO terms. For that brief moment, I imagined building a LEGO model that demonstrates the same movements shown in Technic sets. Creating a world in LEGO doesn't prevent me from seeing its true abilities. It helps me grasp the real-world concepts in terms that I have been familiar with. I would be less likely to think about animation, or engineering, or art in my daily life without their abilities to be adapted by LEGO.What I love most about LEGO is being able to control my hobby as if it were a thriving miniature world. On a minifigure scale, I create all kinds of projects, such as cars and buildings, for my figures to play and be displayed in. With a small scale, I can make an expansive world with all kinds of structures, creatures and environments, all according to my unique design. It even presents challenge for being efficient with my collection and spacing each structure so much that it can be displayed and played with. I am currently working on a LEGO city, and so far I completed an almost functional sewer tunnel, with intentionally breakable platforms for added affect. Soon I will begin a mining area, with collapsible walls, hidden passages and a minecart that travels between caverns. These are more subjects I would not consider if not for a LEGO form. My favorite theme of all time is hard to choose, but my best choice would be Power Miners. With every new LEGO set, I learn more skills and styles of building that I could use for my own creations. Yet Power Miners presented a concept beyond the traditional building experience. Power Miners by itself is a rare theme in LEGO history, with one preceding mining theme, Rock Raiders, and one small theme of LEGO City involving mining after this theme. Power Miners took the concept of underground digging and made it into an adventure, with strange creatures and crystals to dig for underground. Although the sets lacked any sort of cavern building models, they encouraged the user to build their own and use the vast array of vehicles to accomplish their mining task. Each vehicle was equipped with a different style of building as well as a noticeably orange drilling function. From spinning interplanetary drills to dynamite catapults to sweeping machines to harvest the crystals, these vehicles were fascinating to build and even more interesting to play with. Imagine moving a simple vehicle and watching its drill push in and out with every forward and backward movement of its treads. The Power Miners theme presented a unique variety of figures and creatures, with two large bases to store the crystals dug up underground. The creatures had a great play feature of eating the crystals in their trash can-shaped bodies, some being able to throw other figures! The mining figures were similar by uniform but different by occupation and facial expressions, with an assortment of drillers, executives (a chief and a geologist), explosives experts and engineers. Power Miners offered me an incredible experience of building with the encouragement of making semi-technical, but kid-friendly, functioning models. If any of you would be fantastic enough to answer these questions in your responses then I would be truly thankful. Thanks in advance. Callum. Feel free to use any or all of what I wrote. I look forward to hearing about the result of your project!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion
Maniac4Legos replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Oh that makes sens. I searched TRU and the LEGO shop at home for where these images first appeared. I hardly know about Smythstoys.com I'm sorry but I do. I just got really excited to find news first, and someone ALWAYS is one step ahead of me, each time. I think the only brand spanking new news I found was the MetalBeard's Rules of the Sea on the LEGO Movie Facebook page, but even then people commented about it before I got the pictures and link up to EuroBricks. I feel like my role in this community is insignificant. I don't go on here often, I'm scared of reading massive topic forums all the way through for important content, I'm shy to voice my opinion about topics, and I hardly know how to use this site to my advantage (so yes, call me a noob). What do you mean by "ninja" you? do you mean get them ahead of you? Well good luck with that. I check very few toy sites for images posted, as I said earlier about my connection with Smythstoys. I don't want to overwhelm myself with checking neurotically with LEGO news, which is why I enjoy this community for helping each other out. But my inferiority makes me angry sometimes even to the point of wanting to be on top and with something big and noteworthy, not some Rules of the Sea images (who really cared for that?). I also dislike the idea of being late, feeling pressured from certain members of the LEGO community to get the news out ASAP. I also can't convince myself to leave either, or I lose a goldmine of information (I consider EuroBricks the God of LEGO, because this website knows about new LEGO content before anyone else). I feel hopeless. I'm sorry for pouring myself out so much. There's more to the LEGO community than it's fascination with the plastic toy, you know :( Is it possible for you to take separate photos of the new pieces shown in each set? Just to see the piece alone, or new printing, or new color scheme? -

Flickr images from tormentalous (aka Allen Tran) for the TMNT sets close up! http://www.flickr.co...th/13361335175/ Oh, well so much for me posting about it not too long ago. :( Maybe I should leave the community. You all already know about things, which makes it less special when I find it on my own and see you posted it already. Thanks for the info. I have the link. http://www.flickr.co...th/13361335175/ -
Thank you very much! Sorry I've been busy lately and trying to read through all these EB topics is hurting my eyes and wasting my time :( but thanks for the info!

I'll have to look through this further for some ideas to sort my lego. I started by sorting out colors. Then I moved on to elements. I have a Sterilite 3-drawer cabinet to store roof pieces, basic bricks and plates. I put all my animal figures in a large bag. I've bagged lots of my already built sets and am still finding space to store the bags, which include Minifigures, pieces to the set, and instructions. Polybags have all that and the polybag too if possible to fit in. I keep my CMF figures in the round Minifigure storage containers that have each series printed on them. My waffle baseplates are in a yellow suitcase which originally contained a green 32x32 baseplate. My bionicle figures are kept in their canisters, same with Hero Factory. If from a box, the figures are bagged with instructions. I still have plenty more to go through, despite what I wrote.
