  1. you're welcome, and thank you haha!

  2. Welcome to Eurobricks! I am also into Star Wars and I've played with LEGOs since about 1999. I also had some classic town sets but I'm not selling. Good luck on your classic town for YouTube. Let me know when it is uploaded!
  3. I would buy lots more, believe me, this is a great LEGO theme. However, I do not have a steady job. Therefore, I buy LEGO sets when I can. Eventually I will work up to getting the Vampyre Hearse and The Werewolf, but for now I will enjoy what LEGOs I can afford. Go for it if you like it. It has some good features and lots of glow-in-the-dark elements. For most, it's not too big of a deal. I preferred buying Ann Lee and Frank Rock in their other sets, especially since I cannot afford the Ghost Train nor want it much.
  4. Same here. I plan to get a little from most of this year's themes so I have something to use. I picked up The Mummy and The Swamp Creature yesterday so for now I will focus on buying sets in other themes.
  5. Very good! Welcome to Eurobricks! Do you plan on making any Brick films using your film studies?
  6. Welcome to Eurobricks, Solidseal! Good set choices for Technic. I wish I knew better about making those models on my own. I usually follow the instructions.
  7. Hello all! I want to buy another Super Heroes Marvel set to go along with my Captain America's Avenging Cycle (bought yesterday). But for $20, I am stuck between these two sets: Wolverine's Chopper Showdown OR Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape. I have watched reviews on both, and I have to say, it's tough to choose still. Notes: -I like to keep sets as they are for a while then take them apart. I don't mind having different characters in different models, but I like to keep the models together for a while before tearing them apart for other things. -I have not seen the Avengers movie but I still like the figures from other Marvel movies. (Don't worry, I'll see it sometime soon.) -I am more of a DC fan than a Marvel fan (not too familiar with Marvel backgrounds), but I still like the Marvel sets from LEGO. They have good features. *What values I see in Wolverine's Chopper Showdown:* -Wolverine is a good minifigure, not my favorite in Marvel but favorite for X-Men. -I don't quite know Deadpool that well. Didn't he used to be bad, now good? Or reverse? Or didn't change? In this set he is a villain commanding the chopper. Good detail on him, though. -Magneto is a good villain, and good details on his minifigure. -Helicopter has good play features, and I like the extra area behind the cockpit. I could seat maybe 2 minifigures back there. The lack of stickers makes it useful for other MOCs or scenes I setup in the future. And it has good flick fire missiles. --WITH CPT AMERICA SET: gives me 2 superheroes vs. 4 villains. vehicle wise, villains have the upper hand (helicopter + alien rover + turret) compared to the heroes (two 1-man motorcycles) *What values I see in Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape:* -I like all the minifigures. I prefer Iron Man over Wolverine, no matter the variation on Iron Man. -Again, isn't Hawkeye with the Avengers? In this set and Helicarrier Breakout, he appears to side with Loki (especially in this one, since he is driving Loki away from Iron Man). -S.H.I.E.L.D. is on the superheroes' side too! So did Loki (and Hawkeye) steal the truck to escape with the Cosmic Cube? -ONE SEAT ON THE INSIDE!? Surely LEGO could have fit 2 minifigures in the truck. LEGO should've taken out the chair and levers. -The flip function on the back is good. In fact, the truck's flat bed can be good for future use for delivery or something. -The flick fire missiles are in a terrible position. You try to flick them without hitting the rear wheels or the pieces above them. If LEGO needed flick action in this set, they should've put it somewhere towards the top of the truck where it would be useful. -Despite my complaints with the truck, it says "all-terrain" to me, and looks stylish and sturdy. --WITH CPT AMERICA SET:Again we have a 2 on 4 fight (counting Hawkeye as a villain) with the bad outweighing the good in vehicles and chance of winning a fight. However, if Hawkeye and the S.H.I.E.L.D. truck was good, then it would be a fair fight. I also think it makes more sense for Cpt. America to pair up with Hawkeye rather than Wolverine. I don't fully understand the Marvel Universe, but I would think X-Men pair with the Avengers? I don't know. Plus, Loki can command his alien troopers better if he was present. I would have him ride the rover, the general on foot with the gun and the foot soldier man the turret. Then Hawkeye and Cpt. America ride in on their truck on motorcycle. Makes sense to me, but I haven't seen the Avengers movie yet sorry to disappoint Let me know below if you have either of the $20 sets (or all 3 mentioned above)! Also inform me of your reasons or what you would do if you were me. Thanks! ~Maniac4Legos
  8. Very nice review! Thanks for getting it. I still hope the USA gets it soon...looks nice to have
  9. I figure in USD that would be about $4.99 just about the same price as Thor and the Cosmic Cube. On YouTube, artifexcreation said the set was $4.99 (see link below) but didn't mentione where he got it.
  10. I am also a big fan of BIONICLE and Hero Factory, and I used to read the comics from BIONICLE. Welcome to Eurobricks, Zorg!
  11. Hello Michael, and welcome to Eurobricks! I started liking Star Wars in 1999, which as the Joker said was a good time for classic sets. I like dancing too but I usually don't have a form haha :)
  12. That 3-pack for $50? To do the math of each set. Jay's Storm Jet ($25) + Kai's Blade Cycle ($15) + Weapons Pack ($20) = $60 so this 3-pack is a better deal :D
  13. Great job! I like how the first one gives the classic zombie horror feel, and the second is funny :D
  14. Welcome! I like those themes as well. Unlike you, I have slipped into many themes over the years, but I have kept some limits. For example, I like LEGO Star Wars but I don't quite like the Clone Wars series. I prefer the classic trilogy sets.
  15. Hello! I'm a fan of Pirates sets too. However, the only ones I've been able to get my hands on were the 2009 Pirates sets. I have all of 2009 sets except for 2. Welcome!
  16. Very cool Andy! I used to be into Technic, and I watch many YouTube videos of people's Technic creations. I even have several books about how to make Technic pieces function. Any chance we can see your Pinball Machine? I found Eurobricks about a year ago looking for new LEGO sets, but your discovery sounds interesting.
  17. I have a few favorite themes. Ninjago, Power Miners, Star Wars and Agents
  18. I like those too! welcome to Eurobricks.
  19. Hello, Maniac4Legos here. I review LEGO sets as 13hammertime62 on YouTube. check it out!
