  1. Welcome to the community. I was attracted here since you were interested in Minifigure customization. Do you mean making your own Minifigures apart from lego versions? I take Minifigure parts and mix them around for all kinds of combinations. If that's what you mean let me know.
  2. LEGO Movie Analysis under way! :D

  3. I got the polybag 30187 (unnamed Creator polybag) at Target for $3.29. Cheapest and most recent polybag in the store! https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-dCWE9qmq3rY2hhVUlYOUt5V3hjSFhvQTB5Uml1cmt5YTNN/edit?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-dCWE9qmq3rZHFndlJ1blo2NVNydGdFMklNR0VzMGZlUHBj/edit?usp=sharing Hope these can be viewed! Let me know if there is a problem During the summer of 2013, I walked into a pharmacy store that I knew carred LEGO items. They had a table with items marked 50% off, and what did I find there?...The Tower of Toa set! Originally $50, this was marked down to $25! I was so happy to buy this set, now about 8 years old! Haul shown here: In the same store I found some Ninjago spinners from 2011, still at $9.99. Although the price didn't change, I'm happy that it was not increased. This store still carries a Toy Story set, Army On Patrol, for $9.99, as well as a few other discontinued sets. In 2013, I saw Walmart installed some new Chima sets, at the time new, and they were marked at $11.99 (regular $14.99). Haul shown here: Right now, in Target, I have seen many Chima sets on clearance by 25-50% off. See my images below. Sorry if blurry. Ninjago Garmatron at $31.48 - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-dCWE9qmq3rblZocDlxTEZKVDk0aU0wTWt5Y25aUGFfYTlj/edit?usp=sharing Ninjago Temple of Light at $45.48 - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-dCWE9qmq3rYzhjYmtGYlprTlhkNkpqQy1ITFNlY0N4bFpz/edit?usp=sharing Chima Speedorz at $7.49 and Chi Battles at $9.99 - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-dCWE9qmq3rd1VOdXlkWXZha3FhM0tWT2xfWmZYMjZTdWVN/edit?usp=sharing Galaxy Squad Galactic Titan at $78.38 - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-dCWE9qmq3rZnBaYVNXLVRMSF9QSFVLRGszbWZ3aDU3SVBN/edit?usp=sharing The Hobbit Dol Guldur Ambush at $15.74 - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-dCWE9qmq3rLTZTalVVZFN2WW5HbVA0VUJsZnZrRUo1blBJ/edit?usp=sharing Star Wars AT-TE at $70.68 - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-dCWE9qmq3rUng1a0ZkS2hpRXVzRld4YzNVdTRTWG9KY3FR/edit?usp=sharing Chima Lennox's Lion Attack at $15.74 - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-dCWE9qmq3rR1FqY1ZEeTJ0SlRNTGNTa0E4cFgyVGd5Ukp3/edit?usp=sharing Chima Eris' Eagle Interceptor at (sorry being blurry) - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-dCWE9qmq3rMmc2c2lJcHZvWHhuZmtZeE1FYU44aEo5UUM0/edit?usp=sharing
  4. Sorry, it was none of those. Thanks for helping! I found the piece again and checked uit over. It's actually 2x2x5! Official name: "Lego 2580 Rouge Support 2 x 2 x 5 Lattice Pillar " http://images-00.delcampe-static.net/img_large/auction/000/077/348/762_001.jpg Also, the 2x4 white piece might be this: "Vintage 2x4 Cellulose Acetate Brick". I'm not sure, I'll try tp upload photos of each vintage item. This brick is very nuique and through my research I could not find out when it's from.
  5. I'm not sure which piece is the oldest, but here are a select few that I recognize from the far past. I have an Imperial Soldier, blue outfit from pirates, which dates back to about 1985 if I am correct. I have a 2x4 white brick (slightly discolored) that has an old design of knobs and the studs have an odd printing of the word "LEGO", a similar style to the company's logo. can anyone pinpoint the years? Thank you. I have an old pirates flag which relates again to the late 80's. I have a 2x2 support beam which appears in old sets but again, I do not know the year. They have a shape similar to construction support beams like in the game Donkey Kong (1984). Sorry I cannot accurately describe it now. Thanks for the dates!
  6. Sales at Toys R Us, or at most retailer stores, will last one week, generally Sunday to Saturday. I went to Toys R Us on Wednesday during this week and learned about the sale then, picking up some cool sets. Don't worry about missing this sale. There are alrways sales at Toys R Us on select products, in an attempt to compete with their inflated prices! For example, I saw my local TRU had the Batman Funhouse Escape set, and was included with the BOGO 50% off deal. However the price of the set alnoe went from standard RP of $39.99 up to $59.99! Whoa! It's almpost 50% more expensive, so sadly I turned down that set offer and bought other smaller ones. And what's worse, that's TRU's in-store price for that set. The online one is still marked as $39.99 but marked down from "listed price". That's where a real question comes into play, and I would like to ask those who are reading this to help me. I'm making a LEGO video about various LEGO topics, one of them being TRU BOGOs and determining their worth in comparison to the TRU pricing. I would like your help in any way possible with thoughts and opinios and experiences, anything to help me along! Thank you so much! I will credit those who get back to me about my LEGO Topic video. 7. At most times, I do not keep LEGO boxes. They do not mean much to me after opening and building the set inside. They also crowd up space in my room, and I'm already in need of cleaning out other things! However I do keep new ones around for set review purposes, and after recording I discard them. However, there are several exceptions to my box-keeping rule. Most of these exceptions are not boxes. Bionicle Canisters have been fun to collect ever since 2001. I have al my old canisters and I use them well for storing the constraction models inside. Ones that came in boxes were hard to store and often broke apart. Not all of my canister-contained figures are built, and I hope to rebuild them all for easier storing. Hero Factory ones and Knight's Kingdom II ones have the same application. Polybags have been a recent collector activity for me in my love of LEGO. For some reason, I cannot seem to let go of their bag packaging. Maybe it's the way they're packaged like this that gives the set a little meaning. I keep my polybags with the sets they came in, pieces and instructions all bagged up in Zip-Locks. My Collectible Minifigures statred out with throwing away the packages. I decided around Series 7 that I would keep one of each series package. Then I realized each one has a code corresponding to the figure (bump codes). So instead, I kept all of the minifigure packages from there onward. Unfortunately I lost many coded packages and it has an almost taste of nostalgia now in not having the earlier series packages like Series 1. They do not contain the minifigure parts, because those figures are stored elsewhere. My Brick Warrior packages I have kept them all because for now they serve as a convenient way for storing the parts. Only a few boxes from sets have I kept to contain parts. The Power Functions Motor set 8293 and the Switch Tracks set 7895 are both used as temporary places to store the more technical side of my LEGO collection. I keep the boxes for LEGO DVDs, even when they include minifigures, to keep the figures intact and I know where they are. it also makes me think the DVDs stay intact and are in a noticeable spot. When I get small Creator packs, I keep those cases, just as I have with Xalax-type Racers and the disc-throwing figures from Technic. sometimes the're useful for quick storages of random parts. Same goes with 5477 "LEGO Classic House Building", I think it's called, according to it's original price label. I forgot, I also have the set box for The Tower of Toa from Bionicle. I found this set this past summer for $25 in a small pharmacy store, and I was very happy with the price and deal. All the parts and instructions were included. entirely intact. I don't know how much longer I will keep the box. I haven't been sure, especially for one of my greatest purchases of 2013 for its rarity and deal.
  8. Wow Justin, how come I didn't see this till now? :0Here's one courtesy of ThePolybagCollector, Arctic Polybag: Thoughts: This reminds me of the Coast Guard Seaplane polybag, only that it has a thinner mid-structure. I'd like to assume the front piece is a printed piece, since polybags don't contain stickers. The new ski pieces are excellent to get in this set, and I was already happy with them in any set, especially the snowmobile. The back is a lazy build, and a fragile one since it's held by plates without reinforcements. The middle has a good build, I just hope the whole thing doesn't continuously break during play. Lots of great piece in this set
  9. Thank you! Pleased to meet you! Thank you, I'm pleased to meet you! I shall check that out! Thank you very much! Pleased to meet you!

  11. New 2014 minifigures pack for Chima on Shop at Home! http://shop.lego.com/en-US/LEGO-Legends-of-Chima-Minifigure-Accessory-Set-850910
  12. Hey that's awesome! I saw kid sized ones today in Toys R Us for $13! Very small though. Pics if anybody wants them! I have to upload them later, sorry :P There is a Uni-Kitty shirt? That's adorable! It's a little too pink though compared to Uni-Kitty.
  13. Yesterday I made a trip to Five Below in hopes to complete my LEGO Movie collectible Minifigures series. I only needed two more - Calamity Drone and Velma Staplebot. My local Five Below carries three boxes of the Minifigures series, so my chances of getting what I wanted seemed good. One box was nearly empty though, a second was short of a few packs, and a third was yet to be opened and sat behind the counter. Recently I bought lots of other figures from this series so I was familiar with the parts associated with them. I've been training for a long time for feeling packages for figures and parts with a near 100% accuracy rate. As I searched the two opened boxes for figures, I found Calamity Drone rather quickly. After 40 or more minutes of feeling packages and some twice to be sure (about 40 packages), I failed to find Velma Staplebot. So I took Calamity home, sad to not have completed my collection so soon. I went home and made a haul / rant video on YouTube about my findings. I felt a sense of doubt in my abilities to find the right figures. I researched online and found that in an unopened box of figures, Velma appeared twice in the whole box. I considered the idea that maybe Velma was already bought at my store and would not be available until opening the third box. My stores are growing low in figures available so I'm not sure how I can find her. So in short, my most recent purchase was Calamity Drone. But in thought id share my shopping experience to show how I got to this purchase and how I yearn for that last figure.
  14. Hello, and pleased to meet you! I live in New Jersey as well but I'm much father from LEGO stores (about an hour or more from 2 stores). Welcome to Eurobrivks and I hope to hear more from you soon! :)
  15. Pleased to meet you Max. Welcome to Eurobricks. Excellent MOC of the Benny spaceship you made! I'm excited for the LEGO Movie as well. Also cool figures. I still have LEGO Racers and have been trying to play it again on my computer. It crashes often though. It's one of my favorites.
  16. Hello Razvan! Welcome to Eurobricks and I'm pleased to meet you. It sounds like you're doing very well and have some good LEGO goals ahead of you. I wish you the best of luck in them. Feel free to contact me! I have some MOC ideas as well!
  17. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  18. Welcome justin and pleased to meet you. I'm a TFOL and into castle as well but I build other things than castle too. I joined the online community around 2009 when I discovered preliminary pictures of power miners and other themes.
  19. Welcome to Eurobricks! I'm happy to see you rediscovered LEGO and that it was through Star Wars. Some of my first sets were the 90's Star Wars sets. If you need help catching up I'm here for you! :) I don't mind how well you speak English. I usually can understand what you're saying very well. Pleased to meet you! :)
  20. Pleased to meet you Alien! Welcome to Eurobricks! I like Ninjago and Power Miners too! Space themes are awesome. I don't have all of Galaxy Squad or Alien Conquest but I have the polybag a from Galaxy Squad. There are still some available in my local stores!
  21. Hello everyone! My name is Joey, also known as Maniac4Legos. I run a YouTube LEGO channel of a similar name, Maniac4LEGO, on which I review LEGO sets and merchandise, video games, movies, playthroughs of games, and have videos about my MOCs and my LEGO City. I also report LEGO news. Once I get myself settled in to Eurobricks I will be able to connect better to the LEGO community. Now a little bit about me. I am 19 years old and I live in the US. I've been playing with LEGO all my life, from DUPLO to regular. I have been a fan of many themes over LEGO's history, but some of my favorites include Rock Raiders, Agents, Aqua Raiders and Power Miners. I've gathered lots of LEGO books and other merchandise as well, and have a very full LEGO room that I'm trying to clean, haha. I've been on Eurobricks before but I didn't know what to do here. I'm back by invite of a friend, Just2GoodEurobricks, yet I still feel lost in the sea of faces using this website. I still cannot find out how to make posts (except this one), how to upload pictures and where to search best for topics I want to explore. If some can help me along these paths I would very much appreciate it :) I'm also very busy in college so I'm not sure how much I can get here. I also have a Flickr page (Maniac4LEGO), Twitter page (Maniac4LEGO) and a deviantArt page (WorldwideImage) on all of which I try to upkeep and post my LEGO information and ideas, along with YouTube as said before. I look forward to meeting some friendly faces on here and to find a place to fit in the community. :) I guess I said enough. Bye for now!
  22. Hello capcomize. Pleased to meet you and welcome to Eurobricks! I like the modular sets but I don't have any of them because they're expensive.
  23. Hello Katie! Pleased to meet you. I wasn't much of a Technic fan but I do have some sets such a snowmobile, a telehandler and a motorcycle and twin blade helicopter from years ago (the last two in pieces though). Sounds great that you set up a new room even if it is running out of space. It happens with nearly all lego fans, haha. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  24. *snip* Fantastic work on this MOC. Very nostalgic and accurate to the movie! Maybe I missed it, but where is the giant Tiki Head?
  25. Excellent! I've started to collect these and review them on my YouTube channel. They're very nice to expand the uses of minifigures. I saw them at my Five Below in NJ for $2.99 each. I only found 7 of the 10 packs but I'm sure more will be around, maybe in other Five Below locations.
