He says in the video, "2T Toys" in the Netherlands. Presumably this - although I cannot spot the video there. https://www.2ttoys.nl/contents/nl/d2045761998_GOEDKOOP-LEGO-Harry-Potter-bij-www.2ttoys.nl.html He also says it is $30 though.

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes

From TLM2 trailer. This looks like the Roman soldier's shield in silver. -
I doubt it was ever the most successful. Successful, yes. Most, no. The last two ships released within Pirates were: The Brick Bounty The Imperial Flagship I don't think either were particularly bog-standard. Brick Bounty is fine, so long as you don't have a similar earlier one (like Brickbeard's). As to TV tie-ins, I don't think they'd work for older kids (and hence lead to decent AFOL wanted sets). Pirates books and toys seem to be aged at quite young kids these days, and they are no longer very cool by about 5 or 6 (at least in the UK) and definitely by age about 8. Which I guess is why LEGO aimed the last range at quite young builders.

Yeah, buy more bricks! I'd stagger bricks if I were you, it makes the walls much stronger.

£45 is probably more likely, as 450 kr is £53: take off their VAT and add on ours, £51. It might be £50, but then 70612 Green Ninja Mech Dragon is £45, and also 449 kr.

I think BTTF was helped by being the first of the 80s nostalgia sets. I believe sales were OK at the time, but it was definitely discounted for a while here in the UK. But the numbers produced were quite small compared to the later GB Ecto-1 set. Being the first set and a relatively small run means that many people that have got into the 80s nostalgia sets missed out on it, so its secondary market price has increased very well compared to the GB IDEAS set. I wonder if it would do as well if it was issued for the first time now, given all the 80s nostalgia minifigures that have been produced since then.

The poster is showing Unikitty, Benny, Wyldstyle, Emmet, Batman, Metalbeard. There is a nice Planet of the Apes style vibe going on in the background. You maniacs! You blew it up. Ah, damn you. God damn you all to hell!

I don't think it has been officially confirmed. But Hogwarts Great Hall is 899 kr (Den) and $99.99 US (both confirmed). As this is half that, it is likely to be $50 unless they are playing games with the pricing of different sizes sets, which sometimes does happen (different exchange rates for different sized sets). Although it seems the US prices are already discounted anyway compared to Denmark/Europe - For the Great Hall, for example, 900 kr = 140 USD, and remove the Danish VAT (140 * 0.8) = 112 USD. So I doubt the Suitcase will go below $50.

I don't understand the point of question. I haven't said they have dropped the license, but that Doctor Who is not allowed on IDEAS again, even after the licensed is dropped. And as for @LEGODalekbuster523 statement, I think they are saying that Doctor Who is only currently banned from IDEAS as they have the license. But because of that, circumventing IDEAS by using Twitter instead is a hopeful way of approaching LEGO. My view: if they are not allowing Doctor Who ideas to be formally submitted to IDEAS, then they are not going to accept someone trying to circumvent their fan submission website to get an idea in. I also think that if they wanted to make a Doctor Who CMF series based on those characters shown, they would have done so. They already know about the artwork, they designed it. The campaign seems to be "You made digital versions, did you not think to make them in plastic?".

If it has to be an official torso, then probably plain yellow is closest. A couple of lines from a black sharpie (if allowed) would enhance it a lot.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

There were complaints about the strength of the neck of Unikitties in the past, and this adresses that problem. -
No, Doctor Who is banned from IDEAS even after they decide to drop the license.

Irina Spalko is in a military uniform, so a warrior scientist. Not castle of course. Then there are quite a few SH females that could be classed as warriors. With licensed themes like Hobbit and LOTR, there are not female warriors in the movies except for Tauriel. I wouldn't want Arwen or Galadriel in armour, I prefer them in the typical dress they wore in the movies. Of course, the one they could have done in armour was Eowyn but they missed that whole scene out. Aside from that, I cannot really think of where we could have got a licensed female warrior in an existing theme. I don't think that is true. For the English, Joan of Arc was a heretic. Not because she was a woman but because she believed she spoke directly with God and not through the church. Plus, she was French which didn't help. Whereas the French (especially now) do not see her as a heretic. Whereas Boudicca (being one of "us") is regarded as a heroine. Probably not to the Romans she was fighting though.

It is £90 GBP, which equates to $160 AUD. So not that different. Plus you have the problem of a smallish population, isolated from the rest of the world with high shipping costs.

It's not for me, but it is nice to see another one with some originality getting through.

Sure there would be more, but if that is just replicating the playability of the other carriage, then the real added value is less. This is why I think adding a station provides more playability than an extra carriage. Plus a train and a station looks better value than a train (even though the train would be longer).

I doubt that is considered adding "much". Especially as this already has three sections and so can form an S curve if that's what you enjoy. If you have one carriage, you can put figures in it. If you have two carriages, you can put figures in both. LEGO knows people buy trains with just one carriage, and they stick with it.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
MAB replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Sure, some release a little early, but I don't think any retailers near me held them back for Halloween though (to make them seasonal). Some still had them on the shelves by the time Halloween came round, but they didn't hold them back on purpose. -
I think the same thing is said about every LEGO train set! I guess they know that adding an extra carriage may add to the looks of the train, but does not add much to the playability and also pushes it into the next price bracket so makes it worse for sales.

Too cramped for what? All LEGO trains are the wrong scale, they have to be. There is simply no way a LEGO train could ever be built to minifig scale / size and be a kids playset. Based on what is past, I find this... way better than this ... Even just the improvement in the wheels makes a massive difference to the look of the engine. Having the station also adds a lot of play features, much more than having a slightly bigger train but no station.

Large Star Wars sets (UCS) are a proven winner among adults. I doubt we will see a large scale Hogwarts Express for a long time, if ever. LEGO would want to know lots of people are purchasing the largest sets of the range before they go into producing 3000 piece trains for Harry Potter. Emerald Night was a 1000 piece set. Doing a 3000 piece set is a massive jump from that. As well as the UCS Falcon, they sell many more 1200-1400 piece Falcons. And that is what they are concentrating on now for HP, selling sets primarily aimed at kids.
