  1. Thank you! No, unfortunately I don't have much of an idea as to how to work LDD, but besides the pictures here, this one of the bed may help if you're trying to replicate it I will warn you, though, that there are a tolerable number of unattached pieces so it is a bit complicated!
  2. Not sure if it's very Eslandolan, but I do feel sorry for you! Great presentation of a terrible MRCA result as Kai said, and I hope (OOC, of course! ) that you can make a comeback soon!
  3. Wait for it! We're just waiting to see which of the captured ships are kept to decide whether or not to pay for them being hunted down as well... And from and OOC position I totally agree, BoBS needs more ruthless pirates! (Poor Kwatchi who's been doing his best all this time! Well congrats for sticking to it, sirrah! ) But, on the other hand, Captain Whiffo has decidedly remarked that he hopes a Kraken swallows all those rats on their next attempt!
  4. I may just take you up on that Will PM my highest bid to you both in a sec.
  5. Excellent build, KB, exciting times for the Brick Seas, and the build captures the, uh, erhm, not exactly excitement of the chancellor very well! The sheer size and height of the thing is very impressive, and the candles look great here (if I do say so myself )! The light shining across the floor design (which looks awesome, by the bye - I'd love to be able to get a better view of it!) adds a lot to the feel of the huge empty room Looking forward to seeing where this all takes you (plural - ye, I should say )!
  6. Sorry for not getting around to replying until now! Thanks a lot for the informative post, Kurigan! And, no, I'm afraid the Fog-Breaker won't be getting any more fixes (except in-story), though, as it's been sorted out long ago! It's always good to know for the next time, though! Thanks KB, really glad you like my little boat ship! I'm planning on it! Ah, I see - I'll remember to bring a bucket-load of excuses next time I omit them! JK, thanks Bregir! Thanks a lot, Captain B! Let's just hope it'll sail back again!
  7. Oh, ha! I've been meaning to put a price on your head for a while
  8. Very nice build, LJ, the house definitely looks cozy and hospitable, and the trees and landscaping are excellent as well! Nice choice of colors, and those birds are great additions too - keep it up!
  9. Very nice build, Captain B, the furniture is great, and the cactus is excellent as well! Just don't burn the house down over your heads now!
  10. Neat little build, Phred, the black studs work great for dried pepper, and I do like that counter fellow! Good use of the awning as well, and its great to see some pepper production in BoBS!
  11. That front door shot was definitely pretty deceptive as to the size! Excellent build, Capt Wolf, great to see so many sigfigs (and so accurately built too! I'm sure I couldn't do nearly as close ), and the ranging desks and architectural details - the windows, the doorposts, etc. - are great as well! It certainly looks like a worthy place for the Colonial Council to begin its operations!
  12. Neat build but particularly great story, Kai, the end is especially awesome The mix of colors of leaves and apples looks pretty good there, and it looks overall like something one would expect to find in a body's backyard... but I will mention that those weeds seem awfully high
  13. By all means, congrats Capt! Say hello to all the hours of work, rule making, trouble solving, sleepless nights... Just kidding, welcome aboard! Really neat looking council hall as well, looking forward to seeing the rest of that!
  14. Lovely work, Ayrlego, the colors are spot on, and those roof and siding techniques work perfectly with the woodwork and mangrove swamp! A few of my favorite details are the lantern, the half plate offsets on the boardwalk, and the light tan used under the water. Altogether an excellent job!
  15. Very funny story, and neat build as well, robinnilsson! The touches of dark nougat (?) are great, and I really like those wooden stands... even if I'm not quite sure what they're used for unless it's just for stacking planks. Keep up the good work!
  16. Thanks Sleg! I've used that tree technique a few times already, but I think it looks better all by itself than with other types of trees around. If I use it again I'll see if I can't change up the technique a bit to make it less gap-y And good idea about the camp fires! - might have to include that in phase III! Thanks Blufiji! As to the ground texture and colors - unfortunately those colors aren't the most abundant in my collection so I was a bit short on pieces, but I agree that there are a bit too many studs on a level here for comfort! I'll definitely work on that if I build something else with this color-scheme again soon! Thanks Legofin! Let's just hope those chickens know enough to stay out of the way!
  17. Thanks all! Thanks Kai! I tend to agree that the second tree looks a little out of place, but I couldn't find a way to fix that and it looked better with it there than without it, so there you go! Flex tubes are so useful! Thanks, HQ! Yes, I agree that it doesn't look quite right and is a bit gap-y, but LEGO's leaf pieces are unfortunately pretty limited when it comes to different types of trees. I do plan to try to come up with some other techniques or try out some of the ones out there next time I need to build some trees though! And to tell the truth, I had this built before I saw LJ's recent one (otherwise I would have tried to get more dark green in there! ), but it is a rather popular color combination! Thanks! Thanks, Maestro! I plan to try to get some more builds for CCC and GoH done soon if possible! Thanks SK, the target was just about my favorite part of the build as well! And I really wanted to put some of that sand green to use! Thanks, dG, glad you like it! Those rounds with holes in them are just perfect for them!
  18. Really nice, Sebeus, great use of that dullish yellow, and the architectural details are excellent as well! Great job, looking forward to your work on this island!
  19. AoM Archery Phase II:
  20. A quick new build from me! AoM Phase II, Mitgardian Archery Practice
  21. The bright winter sun rose - well, late enough, in all truth, but that didn't bother most of the hardy northerners of Historica. Least of all did it bother Sir Uridius Dratiphe, who leapt out of bed with a bound worthy of a the hardiest of his ancestors, and who proceeded to get rapidly dressed in his usual attire, and then glance out of his large window into the Keep's courtyard beneath. There was the squire, bending his bow to a truly impressive degree, aiming, apparently, at a squirrel perched in the tree which overhung one of the walls. Sir Uridius looked on bemusedly, as the fellow let loose - and transfixed the deer far below and to the left of his mark, which the cook had hung out to dry. Sir Uridius shook his head in deprecation. Time for some Mitgardian archery practice! The target: And a last overview: A quick little build for the AoM and CCC - although, after seeing LJ's epic entry, I may just have to build a Phase III build soon if I want to stand a chance! Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
  22. To all whom it may concern (and to those who couldn't care less too, ), the results of the King's Demise Minichallenge are now out! Thanks to all the entrants, and congrats to the winners!

  24. A very nice and majestic looking build, LJ, great job all around! The color-scheme and architecture are excellent, and the merchants and their wares look great as well! Keep it up!
