Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Garmadon replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Hahaha, I must say, I quite like what you've done here! I might just have to install something similar in Port Wilks (when it gets a little bigger... ) I think it's definitely a sign of success if instituting port taxes makes me want to visit a port I haven't been to before instead of trying to avoid it! -
Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Garmadon replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Wow, we've had more Mitgardian builders for Book II than I remembered! Great job putting these together, SK, thanks a lot! Plenty of great memories, you all have done Mitgardia proud! -

Come on - he's a pirate, he's not required to have proper spelling (and is totally allowed to make up words )! -
Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Garmadon replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Actually... I think I can match that... Captain Nordau - black flag captain - (just because he simply likes this kind of thing ) hereby officially offers the Sea Rats 8000 DBs upon the condition that they destroy the state of Prio and wipe it off the face of the Brick Seas - to be paid in cash, 5000 upfront, 1500 more if necessary during the course of the attack, and the last 1500 upon completion. And he might throw in a few hundred more for good measure if y'all get it done with some bizaz, Edit: He will also pledge his Class 1, the Frisking Dart, to assist in the annihilation of Prio/Romantica! -
Nice, really love these palms here - give the build a fabulous jungle atmosphere! Looks great even when reduced to the smaller size

Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Garmadon replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Hmm - what is the procedure if I want to change your mind about a (totally worthless, ) ally? Honestly, I think that'd be a fabulous idea! Such a classic move for an imperial power to slip in while nobody else is looking! And this is a great opportunity, as nobody really cares about Prio (except for Maxim ) - anyways, I will most happily sit by the sidelines and let y'all take over if you want - I take credit for the idea, though Come on - it'll be a service to the Brick Seas to prevent it from falling to the Sea Rats' hands! -
Love this one! The light grey trimming looks great, as do the roofs, and the stained glass windows just fit in perfectly as well!

Sounds about right - now I was never in favour of helping those losers Wait, are they really that bad off? Maybe Eslandola should get in on this and just swallow them (Or is it someone else's turn? ) -
Nicely done, mate, I'm liking the depiction of the canoe-carving process - very clever! The smooth angles against the beach are great as well

[COR RSND] To discover, you need... ships?
Garmadon replied to Darnok's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Very nicely done, man! Excellent interior scene, and that window is just great! Great to see you keep on improving! -
He's back! Another great atmospheric shot, and I'm excited to see that you're keeping this series and ship going! Looking forward to more
-
Nicely done, Captain Blofeldraunsfeld! Great way to transform the beach into something more... lucrative - very Eslandolan of Captain Blofeld there The dock and the anchor and other ship parts lying around are great, and I like what you did with that roof!
-
Nice!! Fantastic use of those capes as the splash - I'll totally have to remember that!

[COR - FB] Lady Belson - Class 4
Garmadon replied to Flavius Gratian's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Wow - now that ship is just beautiful! Love both the colors and the curves, and although I do agree that the sails could use a bit more of a curve, the overall build is just very nice! -

Welcome to BoBS, mate! - excellent little intro build, the waves in the background work very well Great intro, and I await where you'll be going with this story! Glad to be of inspiration, too! (I was actually busy rebuilding that very ship this morning ) -
[TSotEP] 15 - The Grand Finale (2/2)
Garmadon replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Way to wrap up the story, Captain B! - and for the record, I am fairly sure that I spotted every monkey on the storyline so far (I know you too well ). Hurrah for Lieutenant Stick! And Flynn and Angelina... and Captain Blofeld, and Captain Cookie... (not to mention for the monkeys...) And thanks again for inviting Kai and me to help out with this - it has definitely been fun! -

Oh, sorry we'll be missing you! Hope to be able to come across each other somewhere or another one of these days (or years, maybe I should say ) Nice - great to see BoBS has got something going there! Glad to meet you IRL and hope we can meet up again sometime tomorrow! -
Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Garmadon replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Hey y'all! Anybody else coming/at BW this year? I think Phred, Capt Wolf, and MKJ (saw your ship there today, mate - that thing is pretty big!) were planning on being there, right? Kai and I'll be there with the Innovalug team, though unfortunately neither of us have got any BoBS stuff on display I'm the guy running around with the coat and the gold sash (and maybe an eyepatch too, we'll see ). Would love to get to meet/hang out with any BoBSers who'll be there! -
[TSotEP] 14 - The Grand Finale (1/2)
Garmadon replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Very nicely done, Captain, love the SNOTed island shore - really works extremely well! I see everything is really starting to come together in the story now (literally ) - I, however, am rooting for that monkey. Great job with the dunes and that strange palm tree too, can't wait to see how this all gets resolved! -
[COR - FB] Spud Plantation in Port Raleigh
Garmadon replied to Spud The Viking's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Loving that mansion - the name up top is really a clever addition as well! The plantation and fountain are neat too, and it looks like everything has been planned very well by the farmer/architects! -
Nice! Fabulous fishing dio, definitely the most complete one I've seen on BoBS! The water is quite neat, the nets are great, and I'm liking those little houses on the shore. The seaweed was an excellent addition as well!

[TSotEP] 13 - The Wreck
Garmadon replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
They've finally found it! What Bodi said - though honestly I was a bit more concerned about the big red fish That diving helmet was a good idea; looking forward to seeing what'll happen next! -
Lovely! Just wonderful all around, from the Tudor, to the rock-work, to the windmill and crop! Just a beautiful dio, keep it up!

[TSotEP] 12 - Somewhere Beyond the Sea
Garmadon replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Wonderful! Love those fishes! The seaweed is great as well (what parts are those?), and the wreck altogether is very well done and looks quite realistic - the details like the angled brown grid thing, cannons all over, and broken masts and bowsprit really help make the thing look alive (or should I say dead? ) Can't wait to see more! -
[COR - FB] Military Academy, Quinnsville
Garmadon replied to LM71Blackbird's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Excellent academy! The layout is very aesthetically pleasing, and the masonry bricks work fabulously here - not to mention the fact that that gate is just superb! Really like that blackboard as well!
