  1. Very nice mini-city, Nightstalker, the bridge (?) is especially cool and the cliffs are cool too I would advise a few more houses in the city, though. Good work
  2. Very nice MOC, it is amazing how good it looks with so many studs exposed Good looking army too
  3. Thanks, most of the Spanish Armada builds are probably in the Pirate Forum
  4. It is interesting that all the Dragon Knights have backs on their faces but none of the Lion Knights do Anyways, thanks for the review
  5. Nice little catapult, Nightstalker! I like the use of the chains, they make it look less barren
  6. Nice build so far, SK, everybody DOES seem to like waterfalls
  7. Thanks, as to being in the wrong forum, I posted it here because it is history, but if a Mod wants to put it in the Pirates forum - I hadn't thought of doing that before - I'm fine with that Thanks, SK, the sinking ships were not very easy to keep in place (especially the one in the front ).
  8. The archway seems a bit narrow to me... and where does it lead to? Seems like it just keeps going along the border Nice build
  9. Nice army, Buuri! On another note, I started my first PM vig today.
  10. Thanks, I tried to add a slight angle to the front treads, but I don't think that there are small wheels wide enough for those treads And also, it got destroyed a long time ago now , most MOC's of mine don't last much longer than a few days
  11. Do you mean that the green cones look different in the different pics? They are attached with half-pins and fell over for some of the pics Thanks anyways
  12. Thanks, although I had thought that the top was the part that looked least like the real thing Yes, the reason I built this mostly came from dissatisfaction with the original set
  13. Do you mean your original story, or you story going through Book I ? That is, will people post their first intro from when they joined GOH, or what they have been doing since then too?
  14. Thanks, Ecc! Thanks, it seems like lots of people like waterfalls
  15. Thanks, Masa! Thanks, I thought that one looked cool too! Thanks, actually, it wasn't really that dark when I took the pic, I also darkened it a little bit on the computer. Exactly, I thought it was about time to find out some new techniques
  16. Thanks all! Thanks, the idea comes from Kai NRG though, as I mentioned above. Thanks, the build really are developed from the burner i.e., they are the beginning and reason for the build. Thanks!
  17. On the fateful night of July 28, 1588, the Spanish Armada, anchored off Calais (near Dunkirk) saw that the English had set out eight burners and sent them toward the closely anchored ships of the Spanish Armada... And with a bit of photo-editing: The confused Spanish ships: The exploding ship all by itself: And an English ship: Thanks for the basic boat design to Kai NRG here. Actually, I finished this a while ago, I just never got around to posting it tell now. Anyhow, this is a historical build (though afterwards I found out that none of the Spanish ships actually caught fire - they all just cut cable and ran away ). C&C are welcome, more pics at my Photostream.
  18. Thanks for the contest SK, and Congrats Buurli! (and everyone else too, of course )
  19. Thanks, all! Thanks, it really wasn't that hard when I had the set, it has most of the vital pieces, but all in the wrong places
  20. Exactly, what I meant was that it would be totally useless to change guilds just for a chance at becoming the leader, since it is very unlikely that anyone who does that would become the leader anyways.
  21. Great build, mrcp6d, that ship is great! The sea-monster is also superb, and the under water part is a nice detail Hope to see some more build from you soon
  22. Nice build Kabel, it looks very good next to the other one Great idea, everybody has to build someone else's style
  23. Sorry for not answering before, thanks all! Thanks, I always try to include the guild colors Yea, I had thought that 200 was a lot, now I think I should have gotten more like a thousand! I agree, this is probably my best build, and the photography, well, taking pictures (or at least close-ups) on a cloudy day seems to work very well Thanks Kabel, and @ Wedge, its quite Mitgardian
  24. Personally (though I'm not Kaliphlinian) I do not think that rules are necessary to prevent anyone from running for the ruler of Kaliphlin, i.e., if I ran, I wouldn't win anyways Anybody can run, but there are really only a few (long-standing Kaliphlinians) who would even stand a chance.
  25. I'm sure you would be very welcome in Mitgardia (more options )!
