Very nice mountain, St0ngbad! Personally, I think that the waterfall turned out very well, and great doors The road and border, the dwarf posing, the bridge, and the plants are excellent as well. My main criticism, like others, would be that the mountain could use a lot more sloping pieces, however, seeing you don't have them, it turnout good anyways. Keep it up .

Mitgardia Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Garmadon replied to Sirens-of-Titan's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thanks, that's what I suspected, and I really prefer it, as that way I will not have to compete with as many other people. As to Mich, I was thinking that if I didn't do him I might do his son, younger brother, son-in-law, (father ), etc., somebody a bit younger (so no, not is father ). -
Mitgardia Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion

Well, I will certainly try to enter, anyways, just for clarification, if I were to build a construction scene in, say, Kaliphlin, I wouldn't be able to win the Kaliphlin prize, would I? (If I could, I think a lot of people would be building multiple entries for this in different guilds ). And as a side note for Ecc, could a build for the MAC count also as one of the three required scenes for the Prime Minister Election? Even if it doesn't I will still run for PM, though I'm not sure if I should run with Mich Maxersine or someone else. Any suggestions? -
I agree with the others, very nice houses and watch towers, Ecc Nice rock work and story too, keep it up.

Inside Kaliphlin Day Final Day -- Devil's Island
Garmadon replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Very nice statue there, all the palm trees and greenery look good too I must say, though, the cut out version (the one on the postcard) looks much better then the one with the sheet, so my advise would be to always cut it out and put a plain white background from the computer on it. Great build -
Inside Kaliphlin: Day 13 - The Fighting Pit of Mophet
Garmadon replied to Gideon's topic in Guilds of Historica
Stupendous build, Gideon, the curved shape is excellent! The gate (how did you build that, I'm not quite sure, though I have a guess ), the rail, and the blood on the sand are great also. The steps look a little steep, though, and I personally would prefer the flags up-side down Great photography, as always, too . -
Great cake(s)! The canopy is great also and the statue too (even though it has been a while since I've seen a three-legged horse ). Ha!

Nice tower, Infernum! The table with the bow and quivers looks very good (as others have said). I like the texture on the fortress too, and (of course) I like those doors

Inside Kaliphlin Day 9 -- The Triumphal Arch of Petraea
Garmadon replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great build, as others have said, I really like the brick road. The whole arch is very nice (and big ). I agree that this is one of the best builds of yours that I have seen yet -
Inside Kaliphlin Day 7- Arkbri Falls

Excellent build, I love the rock sandwork The waterfall and the rest of the landscape are great too, the only thing that bothers me a little is the white foam ...I'm just too used to seeing the foam as clear that it is a bit odd. Anyways, if a refreshing place, it appears to also be extraordinarily dangerous, I wouldn't want to stand on one of those sand ledges for the life of me (if I did, I don't think I would have much life of me left ). Great job. -
Glad you like it, now lets hurry back to Mpya Stedor Thanks, I try (as much as possible) to put the flags/gems etc. of the guilds I am building with in the build.

No, but there has always been a contest or something to build for when I had time, so this would be unprovoked in that sense. Hey, in the real game the teams are red, 24 warriors, black, 12, plus the king. So this game should theoretically be easier for the red to win. Anyways, Uridius is obviously used to the game, so his has a good idea of what he is doing... PS. The last pic was Kai NRG's idea .

Mitgardia Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Garmadon replied to Sirens-of-Titan's topic in Guilds of Historica
My build is up now, Lord DaMaximus' Visit to Mitgardia: And Happy Birthday, SK! -
Ok, I've finally finished what is probably my first totally unprovoked freebuild for GoH: An ancient viking game, Hnefatal (pronounced Nefatal), or King's Table has been played in Mitgardia for centuries. On his visit, Lord DaMaximus played Uridius Dratiphe a few times in the guild room (The other two walls of the room have the other Guild flags, or at least they would if they existed ). The game is similar to chess, the Red wins if it surrounds the king (the bigger piece) on all four sides (you can not move diagonally), and the Black wins if the King can get to one of the white squares on the corners of the board. The Game set-up. Playing around ! C&C are welcome!

Mitgardia is the Bear and Nocturnus is the Snake (at least in ZC's Challenge VI story). Nevertheless, Mitgardia rarely use bears, and Nocturnus (as you said) uses pretty much anything. The typical Mitgardian soldier is this: (Lower left corner).

Finally, Steen is happy for once Anyways, nice build, I especially like the cart and the dirt walls of the path

Excellent dragon and candle . The usual irregular border is nice also, although (together with the wall) it does not exactly give the impression of a palace.

Great rock-work! Those type of trees always look good (and Avalonian ). Very nice use of olive green.

Very nice ship, DM, and the triangular sail looks excellent too, IMHO. Only criticism would be on the minifigs (it still looks like a bunch of 18th century soldiers went and traded they weapons with Indians to me ).

Yes, I agree with the others, it is a great improvement. Maybe a bit more of a transition where the waterfall hits the bottom would be good too (if possible). BTW, did you mean to name the topic Finlay Castle (it says catle). I bet a certain friendly regulator could fix that, though .
-
Nice build, my favorite part is certainly the red and white guy falling (or flying ) of his horse. However, the ground is a bit plan, and could probably be improved with a few bamboo leaves.
-
Great review, I really like this set (probably the best of this castle wave), and especially the horse . The rest of the set is nice too, although I agree that the catapult is pretty useless where it is . While commenting, I might note that the detail on the minifigures (especially their faces) is quite nice, the best minifig being the red knight IMO.
