  1. Nice Trees, you sure have a lot of foliage. How many Bamboo leaves did you use? Snyways, it's a good thing that the trees fell where they did since it appears that the Mitgardians have no weapons (besides the things they cut the trees with).
  2. Great build, SK. As others have said, great bridge. The ice-covered water is a nice touch as well.
  3. Nice story, DG . All the builds look good, But I like the second and third ones best. The only thing that bothers me in the third one is that the very top of both towers look a little abruptly ended. I really like the use of the SW planet up top.
  4. Don't you know, last minute builds are typically the best (Go Mitgardia!) Anyways, sorry for my first Challenge VI build not showing up yet, havn't written the story yet, though I have the basic idea, and I was to busy with the second build to write it. I have a feeling that I will basically have to build my third build in just a couple of hours , so I will basically have two good size builds, and two small ones (one at the beginning and one at the end), And I would just pick the best of the small ones to be my third build (or first, I guess). Anyways, meanwhile, I've got a dirty, rotten Kaliphlinian trick up my sleeve (It was a Kaliphlinian's idea, so a can go ahead and blaim them, right... but it was clever, so I guess I might take credit for it ).
  5. Yes, I have to agree with the others, great rockwork, MK. The gold pieces also add a nice touch to it. Nice story so far.
  6. Well, I'm back now (hope you guys missed me ). Anyhow, to get to the point, I've finished my first Challenge VI Build a while ago (working on my second) and will probably be posting it either tonight or tommorrow. Anyhow, this second build is taking a little longer thean planed, so my third build probably will not be very big. Another extension, please?
  7. As others said before, I really like the brick bottom! That was a great idea .
  8. Nice tower, I really like the cracks in the tower, the rope ladder, and the crane. BTW, does the tower have an interior, or is it solid? .
  9. Yes, I like all the sideways rock building. Quick question, were's that torso and pants from, LOTR?
  10. To say the truth, it looks awfully fake. That torso is the same as the one on winzar, and the "rabbit head" just does not fit with the other LoC minifig head/hats.+ Also, it appears that the legs are also a wolf's, and I am sure that LEGO would not make a rabbit with a torso and legs from a wolf (a rabbit in wolf's clothing ).
  11. Well, thanks for the suggestion, but, first, I don't thin that I have enough dark green for that (as Cara said), but also, the river isn't dry because (I suppose) the great lake behind it ran out of water, because if that had happened, the hands of corruption in the city (Cedrica, FYI) would have gaurded the entrance of the river to the city. The Idea was that the Mitgardian soldiers, or whoever was besieging the city had dug out a bypass to the city and had a dam to stop the water from going down the bypass till it was done, then, that night they broke the dam and all the water went into the bypass, leaving the river dry, or pretty much dry. so close to the river would be green, because it wasn't dried up until that night. If you think that this is not very realistic, read up on Cyrus the Persians taking of Babylon. (All credit goes to him for the idea, all rights reserved, copyright, BC 539 )
  12. Ok, here's a newer WIP (since you liked my last one so much, right ) So tommorrow would hopefully be finishing the wall.
  13. Thanks, Ecc, but what I really meant was more like something to get an idea from, not to copy piece for piece. Anyways, I think I got it now, so I'll just go ahead with what I have.
  14. I suppose you mean his challenge VI entry? Anyways, I've seen that, but I need to build the wall, not a gate. And I was hoping for something more like a Wall of Vahaloll (or standard wall look) for Cedrica. Anyways, it appears that the only people who have MOCed Cedrica would be Brickington and Si-MOCs? The problem is they are both using perspective to make Cedrica small, so I can't get any details out of them.
  15. Nice WIP, Cara, only, I personally am not a fan of olive green, at least not very much. I pretty much stick to rock. And welcome, jeroenaa, you joined the right guild . And for whoever might know, any suggestions on what the wall of Cedrica should look like? I've got it started but it would be nice to get it right. Just now it is similar to the wall of Vahaloll.
  16. I'm not sure I understand you, but the Mitgardian soldiers are walking (marching, really) down a dry rock riverbed. I'll have to make it look more like a riverbed, it seems like, but it shopuld hopefully be clear in the final entry. Thanks, I say we go for first .
  17. My first would be the Roman Commander too. I really like the roman minifigs and other minifigs from more-or-less that time era. Second and third would be the revolutionary soldier and the sea captain (his suit and seagull especially ).
  18. You will need to go to one of the guild topics pinned at the top of the page, preferably the Mitgardian one, of course, write yourself a short intro and present your sigfig (signiture figure, this is the person who you will "be" in GoH).
  19. First, it is not a cliff, it is a riverbank, so it is grass on top. The grass is really the ground of the build. I'll have to modify that, though, I don't have enough dark green platforms. I'm think about dark green, brown and dark gray right now. Any suggestions? As to the question of what is going to be on top of the "cliffs", ha, that's the secret. Let's just say that the river is the one that runs under Cedrica's walls. Does it have a name, cause I didn't see one on the map?
  20. You certainly did. Welcome to Mitgardia, Nivre ! Anyways, as for the WIP I promised today: And for the soldiers fronts: Another pic at my Flickr. I'm not sure yet if I will make a separate thread for this since I hope top be finished somewhere around the end of this week or the begining of the next.
  21. Same here, it makes it a lot easier to build the exact minifig you want quickly. Yes, and it is a pity that Lego doesn't use more green arms . Anyhow, I'll probably getting a WIP of my first challenge VI build up today. I'm done with the rock, and will be doing the landscaping today. If it sounds wierd, it will make sense with the WIP.
  22. Great bridge, SKA. IMHO, the part that actually spans the water looks great, even with that many studs showing, but the ramps do look a little plain. And it is amazing that you got the water to look so reallistic wihtout even using very many pieces.
  23. Green cloaks (capes or coats, whatever you call them) also come on some minifigs, or at least the elf from S3, which is where I got one from. Anyway, I hope to get a WIP of my challenge VI entry up in a couple of days, if possible. About the soldiers, though, I can build about four that are the same, so I might have to modify my plans a bit.
  24. No, I didn't mean that any rule said I need 35 Mitgardian soldiers, just that if I want to pull off this MOC the way it's heading just now, I'll need that many.
  25. Well, I just started my first build yesterday, so I hope to get it finished sometime next week, hopefully. It is going to be a rather dificult build, though, and I'm sadly deficient in Mitgardian soldiers. I don't know if I'll be able to muster up the 35 or so I'll need for the build.
