Oh, ok The leaves threw me off

Great build, Ecc, the irregular base is good, and again, those minifigs are awesome The tent is cool as well, though I'm not quite sure about the tree/post/whatever that thing is

The problem with that all happening thousands of years ago is that at the very beginning of the TV show, when Kai meets him, Wu looks old (relatively, of course), but when Wu fought Garmadon (see The Battle Between Brothers, and when he talks to Kai about hiding the weapons), he looks young, and by your calculations that was less than ten years before. Of course, Lloyd was born some time before Garmadon fell, and that was certainly less than twelve years before Lloyd unleashed the Serpentine. So Ninjago is just all messed up with dates BTW, I think that I talked about this before with someone; the producers probably didn't expect anyone to bother to try to find out when it all happened I'm not quite sure I see it, thanks for the pic anyways, though EDIT: Ok, I see it now

Book II: Challenge 1 Category A - A More Ample Midday Meal
Garmadon replied to Garmadon's topic in Guilds of Historica
Yes, especially when it is night so you can't get any light at all from the windows. Sir Rex is, well, just there pretty much, the only thing that keeps him there is that the ax part of his spear is on Ssstraalfarrks' sword's handguard Every time that the build moved he fell over And just in case you were wondering, I cheated with Ssstraalfarrks and leaned him on a brick- 12 replies

Nice build, as others have said, the slope helps a lot, I like the flags and the pants as well. I agree with Gideon, though, that the fence would be better tiled if possible. BTW, if you wanted a smaller bulls-eye - the one there now is a little big, but I guess he is just a kid - you can either put the red dot behind the other two circles or stick this piece through them (in red, of course). Good job!

Sounds great! -
Stupendous build, Torgar, the irregular shape of the tower really looks great Excellent texture too, and the rocks on the base turn out very nicely tilted out just a little, they make it look as if the tower was on almost inaccessible cliffs, especially in the first picture. My thoughts exactly, but at least your on the Black Spires' side

Welcome north, kevkipo, looking forward to your builds I'm rather busy with other things at the moment, but I'll try to get some freebuilds in for Mitgardia between now and challenge II P.S. I just got my first PAB cup last week and got a whole bunch of trans-clear 2x1 plates for ice or bigger waterfalls and blue dots -
Excellent work on the sideways rock and the vegetation, Gideon! The sand green swamp and the bridge are great too, and fantastic work on the tower itself BTW, I like how the trees' roots go down to the water

Thanks, Gideon, getting the minifigs not to fall over all the time was a bit challenging Thanks, actually, the mess and the minifig posing started the whole thing, and I built the rest around them- 12 replies

Very nice and smooth stonework, MKJoshA, and it still has just the right amount of variation The combination of light and dark gray helps a lot as well The only thing that is a little off is the groundwork on the Mitgardian side, it seems a bit sporadic

Book II Challenge 1 A: To Ambush an Ambush
Garmadon replied to Gideon's topic in Guilds of Historica
Very nice build, Gideon, the stone hedges and the undergrowth are excellent Great photography and story too -
Riding through the thick Nocturnian undergrowth, Sir Rex Marizrack pondered his position. He had by his own request been sent by Lord Raavage to destroy a dangerous and fierce Nocturnian with whom he also had a personal quarrel; the dreaded Lord Ssstraalfarrks, or at least that was what he called himself. He was also very hungry. Lord Ssstraalfarks, after having lost to Marizrack in a joust, had seen to it that Marizrack was accused of a false plot and exiled from Mitgardia. Thinking about this and about why Lord Raavage didn’t feed his soldiers better, Sir Rex approached Lord Ssstraalfarks Nocturnian banquet hall. Leaping of his horse, he ran to the doors and hewed them in with a few blows with his heavy axe. Exclaiming “Lord Ssstraalfarks, you time has come!” he rushed upon him. A short but desperate fight ensued, during which he noticed that, for a Nocturnian, Lord Ssstraalfarks eat rather normally. After clashing weapons a few times (and eating a little of the food now scattered all over) Sir Marizrack leaped onto the table and cut Lord Ssstraalfarks down. Grabbing another handful of victuals - his share of the booty – he ran out to his horse and rode back to tell Lord Raavage that he had succeeded; and that he now deserved a more amply midday meal. C&C are welcome!

At least for the 300 miles you should be able to see them before the next year However, it isn't really as bad as it sounds - I brought my most useful pieces with me, and as far as buying more, they are half as expensive here @Ecc, cool figs, those helmets look real Mitgardian! -

Lots of activity here, welcome to all the new members It is great to be back I will probably start building for the challenges in a couple of weeks. @NiceMarmot, only 2000 miles? We (Kai NRG and I) are about 5000 miles away from most of ours -
Sorry to bump this again, but thanks all, and about the waterfall, I know it is a bit of a rough transition from the snow to the water and from the water to the river/ocean, or whatever it is but it was the best I could do with my bricks just then I enjoy doing waterfalls though, and will probably be doing more some time soon
