  1. Thanks DM! I suppose you are referring to the sand green and lime? Thanks SK, I'm glad you like it! Hmm, I was a bit unhappy with the distance between them and the wall too, but I tried those pieces and it didn't get them any closer... I think now that the best way to do it would probably be to move the entire white sections back half a stud and have the rods fit in with the wooden corners. Thanks for the advice though!
  2. Excellent build Mark, those soldiers are fantastic! Great job on the dark red roof as well!
  3. Ha, ha, they ought to have known that the Ulanders would have put up more of a fight if they didn't have something up their sleeves Great build Kai, very nice explosion and I like that burning cacti! for the approval!
  4. Is plotting for Ulandus

  5. Thanks Kai! Thanks, I'm glad you like them Thanks Gideon! Ha, ha, thanks CB!
  6. Thanks Sarah, I understand about the history credit! I'll see if I might be able to include it with another more comprehensive Kaliphlinian history build
  7. Thanks JN Thanks LJ, I thought it would be nice to try to make it as similar as possible I'm glad you liked the water as well! Thanks LV! Ha, ha, thanks Bregir! As soon as I saw the water in your's I knew what I was going to do! Thanks for the complement on the photos as well, I take them outside in the shadow of the house (unless it is a cloudy day, in which case I don't bother to get the house's shadow). As to the counters, I perfectly agree!
  8. Very nice builds, although I agree that the ship could have used a better roof on the back and I can't really make sense of the leaves on the side! The street on the second build is excellent as well, and the buildings are quite nice! I do have to say that I don't believe this would work as a guerrilla build, as they are essentially story builds and would be next to impossible to counter (I mean, we can't revive the father or re-grow the man's hand, and we can't kill your sig-fig either ). If you really wanted to I suppose the ship could count, as there are some ways to counter that, but, since it is so connected to your story, I think you would be better off using it for the mini-challenge or category B but not as a guerrilla.
  9. Ha, ha! Probably a good idea
  10. Thanks Adair, I'm glad you like it! I'm not sure what you mean about the layout though, as mine is an almost exactly the same as his! Thanks Goliath! Yes, I tried to make it close enough to the original to be easily recognized!
  11. Here is my counter to Bregir's attack on J15, Never Bribe a Ulander
  12. In a small town a little below Mpya Stedor, a bit of shady business is taking place between a Ulander official and a High Council agent. Having bargained for exactly how much the town would be turned over, the agent was about to hand over the bribe money when it started raining- what!? Looking up (and getting more wet in the process), the agent saw a maid throwing water out of the window. "You could have warned me!" he exclaimed to the official, who had trouble controlling his laughter. "Alright hand it over," he replied. As he gave him the money the drenched agent failed to notice the official winking and nodding. "Ahem, sir, what is this?" queried the Ulander Captain of the Thirteenth Legion behind him. Looking quickly around the agent saw he was surrounded and decided to make a virtue of necessity and give in. "You may go, and tell your High Council never to bribe a Ulander - and thanks for paying in advance!" My counter to Bregir's guerrilla. Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
  13. Awesome build Jakorin, fantastic job on both the jungle and aqueduct! Very nice base as well, and I really like your use of light trans-blue for the water
  14. Fantastic, Cesbrick! We sure are getting quite spoiled these days! This is my favorite build from you and probably the best castle I have ever seen! I'm probably going to be staring at this for days taking in all the details, stupendous job
  15. Thanks BMS, I'm glad you liked it
  16. Fantastic build, Kai, the rock-work and reflection are great Very nice figs too!
  17. Nice build Bregir! Excellent job with the building, and as others have mentioned, the water is a great touch
  18. Very nice build Sarah, great job with the color scheme on the walls and floor
  19. I would like to receive credit for The Storming of Ras-El-Akhen for: Military Science - siege
  20. The first post has now been updated with more information about the Thirteenth Legion and better pics - the ground also has a bit more vegetation thanks to SK's great suggestions! Thanks JN, I'm glad you like it!
  21. 'Twas a close battle (well, close between the Council and Desert King at least! ), but I ended up voting for the High Council. Let's hope Ulandus can have a bit of a better showing next time!
  22. Thanks Ska, that should work (I'll check with Kai about which square to choose). Sorry about that though, it was the first thing that came to mind after seeing Kai's (that's what happens when you forget to double-check the rules before building! I hadn't even thought that it wasn't really a guerrilla before you mentioned it ) ! Certainly an appropriate term!
  23. Stupendous work Ecc, this looks even bigger all together! Amazing job with all the details as well
  24. Fantastic build Gideon, great job on the desert landscaping and cacti!
