  1. That's amazing that you could entirely reverse engineer a model based on some pictures.
  2. ^Regardless, that's beautiful.
  3. As the others said, it's hard to reach perfection in lego. However, the point is trying to reach it.
  4. Alot of this discussion is confusing because I don't know if people are talking about me or Crowkillers. In hind site I shoul have just tried to make the model in white, days after I started the topic all the essential parts were gone from Bricklink.
  5. That's beautiful. It's really hard to tell that there is any technic at all.
  6. You could use duster gas, or keyboard gas. It is the compressed "air" used to clean electronics. It's easier to use than an air compressor.
  7. Holy crap, that's one heavy lego model.
  8. Cool, as Tim said I think the white panels look loads better compared to the panel colors of the original 9398.
  9. I think the 2012 sets were better, 2013 has a couple good sets but on average 2012 was better. I might just buy the new pieces off of Bricklink.
  10. Look on youtube, I think I remember a video of a modded 8454 with some really good suspension.
  11. That's pretty cool, one of the better Telehander mocs I have seen.
  12. Today I was really bored, and with an Airsoft Gun of mine arriving tomorrow I thought that it would be a good idea to make a target for it. It is very simple, and took about 20 minutes to make. The shock absorbers are there so that when you shoot it the target will go backwards and then go forwards again. The battery box is there to provide weight to it. BTW, an airsoft gun is a replica firearm that shoots plastic BB's. It's played as a sport, kind of like paintball except with plastic balls instead of paint.
  13. I don't think anyone's brought up how in Lego instruction books the color black looks like grey.
  14. I always hated it as a kid when there was a giant model and somewhere a pin was added. Couple that with the fact that the colors on the lego instructions books a terrible AND I'm partially colorblind, and at times it was extremely hard to build a model.
  15. Hoepfully you will get used to it, when I first built technic I didn't like it however I adapted and in fact now I'm selling my studded Lego collection because I don't use them anymore.
  16. Just sort all of your pieces by design, and in some case color. I have all my "rainbow" color pieces in box and my neutral colors in another. If I ever want to build a set back it'll be easy because everything's sorted.
  17. That's pretty cool, however is it just me or is his crawler driving really slow?
  18. I don't know if someone already found this, but there are low-res pics here: http://www.setechnic.com/Forum/post119452.html#p119452
  19. Holy crap dude, that's awesome. How much does it weigh?
  20. That's really awesome, it's amazing how you were able to fit so many functions into a moc that small.
  21. Lol, the timing on this is funny. My ebay lot for the sensors+brick ends in 12 hours. If any of you want, PM me if interested.
  22. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=92910 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=92911&in=S The best part is that you can transfer drive between the joints if you want to.
