Wow, really impressed, thanks for the great pics. That dropship feature is perfect, I plan on using it along with the trike, as previously stated in some posts back, for the Hellfire club, this swinging feature means I can get my Hellfire guards to land on a roof easily, and that AIM lab is stunning, really love the look of it, getting a classic Thor, Falcon and Taskmaster is great plus Hulk and MODOK, worth every penny. And "Iceman" looks great, great to see Lego foraying into trans arms. I eagerly await more pics...

I can see both sides on the DC/Marvel issue. As many have previously stated, most of the news is identical. Despite this, I feel it should be separated, it can get damn confusing when four or five people are talking about different things about both licenses. Also news can be confusing, I think the conflict will always be there, you'd get tread hooligans going around more as well if we changed, so who knows? I am an adult, and I hope I don't come across as a four year old in my posts, it's just my opinion. What would happen to the existing topic? Would it get locked, then sunk and unpinned, while the replacements took its place? Any which way I see it, I think it's worth a go. Maybe a poll? As for the banner, I'd like one that shows all of them, Batman or Superman for DC, Captain America or Iron Man or Hulk or Wolverine for Marvel, Harry Potter for Harry Potter etc. Maybe a huge fight scene? Or one similar to the Historic themes, all of them looking at the camera? And one more question, I'm not trying to be offensive, I don't want to seem ungrateful, but is there any update to the review index?

Is that a second genesis Cyclops?!? He seems to be more dark blue than black, even with the red belt! Really looking good, I look forward to more pictures...

Seriously korpen4444? Kang's pod a living waste of time?!? He's a really popular villain, been around for years, and IMO would be great as a set. Maybe Galactus and Castle Von Doom? Out of all my ideas they are probably the most likely to be made, both popular and well know things that would be rich in playability. What do you mean about leaving UCS stuff to Star Wars? The Kree, Skrull, Brood, and Shi'ar are all Marvel alien species. My other ideas being a waste of time?!? I'd and many I know would buy a mini Lego Asteroid M playset full of Brotherhood of Evil mutants or Acolytes and Magneto, X-Men and a space shuttle, same goes for the Quinjet, Hydra Island, Blackbird, Deaths Palace and Dr Strange's Secret Sanctum. As for my other things that are so hard to understand? Giant Man, Power Man (Not Luke Cage), and Goliath (either Bill Foster, Hank Pym, or Clint Barton), they are all size changers, people who can increase and decrease there size due to Pym particles, hence UCS to make a giant version of a regular minifig. And as for the Watcher? He, and his species, watch Earth and the events that transpire on it but are sworn never to interfere. The entire iconic series “What If” was centred around him looking at other realities. Here's a picture of old baldy: http://starsmedia.ign.com/stars/image/object/923/923819/the-watcher_marvel_pictureboxart_160w.jpg And as for you mentioning the X-Mansion, read “underground”, I was implying that I want the rooms under the mansion, not the mansion, although either would be good.

Well, from a Marvel fans opinion: I'm not “keen” on the UCS Tumbler for a number of reasons. First, as so many others have stated, I feel its such a waste of a set, there are so many other things, Marvel and DC, I would prefer. Secondly, UCS suggests non mini fig scale, something I rarely buy. Not that I wouldn’t of wanted a regular set, minifig scale. And finally, like I said, it's Batman. With the exception of anything Frank Miller related it would take a very good set for me to buy any more Batman, ever. As for what they could make, D2C Marvel wise, being limited, I here? Helicarrier? UCS Sentinel? Avengers Mansion? Shi'ar starship? The Starjammer? Skrull starship? Kree starship? Brood living starship? Danger Room/other underground rooms in the X-Mansion? Classic Quinjet? Baxter building? Castle Von Doom? Kang's time pod? UCS Watcher? UCS Giant Man/Goliath/Power Man? Asteroid M? UCS Galactus with one of his machines and heralds? Hydra Island? Doctor Strange's secret sanctum? Death's palace? UCS Blackbird? No offence, DC fans, but you've got Arkham, let us Marvel fans get a big set for once. Your time will come when JLA gets released.

I've got full access, no problems on my end of the line. I haven't had problems since the switch.

Nice and all, but I was hoping for a Marvel UCS/D2C like others. And even then, its a Batman set. The only redeeming feature would be if it was a Frank Miller The Dark Knight Returns "Batmobile", UCS. I'd buy that. Tumbler? Not in a million years. It appears that DC are getting more non set coverage (visual dictionary, starring role in TLM, one off cartoon etc), and specialised/non system sets (Duplo, D2C's), while the sets have limited character selection (limited to the Bat family, JLA, Superman and appropriate villains), while Marvel has little to none non set coverage (only the game springs to mind), no special sets, but a great selection of characters (Avengers, X-Men, Heroes For Hire, Sinister Six,various heroes/villains who work on there own, AIM/Ten rings, Hydra, etc).

At the moment, I'm currently reading: Giant Sized X-Men #1 - Uncanny X-Men #191 Siege TPB Zenith 2000AD book one D.R and Quinch, Definitive edition Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and some various Marvel What If? comics, extremely good, always a good excuse for death, destruction, and a high turn over rate for characters at a colossal scale, and always a good story, too.

I'm still wondering if they'll address the Adamantium issue, as Ultron had it before Wolverine. I'd love a chrome Ultron in one of the sets, though.

He was red, as far as I'm aware, then much later on became white due to being rebuilt, sans emotions, by Hank Pym, after being dismantled by rouge US agents, manipulated by Immortus (West Coast Avengers #42-44). Maybe there going to CGI the red on, or that gets put on later in the film after being built?

He has been white, when rebuilt, but I'd much rather they go for Red/Green, the classic. So no news from Toy Fair, other than Zzz's info, how long till the next Toy Fair?

4439 Heavy Lift Helicopter. I love it, I've fixed the one problem I could find (the doors), and I was surprised to see so much hate towards it, design wise. On top of that, I got it for nearly half price.

What is your favourite Super Heroes set?
Dr Leg O Brick replied to Godtshep's topic in LEGO Licensed
Marvel: Daily Bugle, Deadpool's helicopter and the Quinjet, brilliant builds, great figures, and all very special to me sentimentally as well. DC: I haven't got as many as Marvel, however, it'd be between the Bat-Cave and Lex's Power suit -
Hi, don't know if these images have been posted, but Hoth bricks have got some great pictures of Cap, Red Skull and the Hydra goon. A quick question, Zzz, did the Blackbird look anything like this: http://static4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100409035829/x-men/images/5/56/126big-SR71.gif. Great to hear the collector is in these sets, is it possible the smaller ship belongs to the Nova corps? And another quick question to Zzz, was there an bald blue figure in any of the sets?

He was an original member of the Guardians, native to Centauri IV, he carries a golden bow and arrow, made of yaka, a metal native to his home planet. The arrows he shoots can change direction in response to high octave whistle sounds made by him. He is skilled in hand to hand combat, hunting, and tracking. Speaking English hurts his throat, as Centaurians speak in clicks, grunts and whistles. On Earth 616, like the other Guardians, he is an honorary Avenger. More info on him, the 691 version a least, from Marvel Wikipedia: http://marvel.wikia.com/Yondu_Udonta_(Earth-691)

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
Dr Leg O Brick replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I haven't looked through all the pages, so I have no clue as to if this has been posted, but better pics of the summer sets are on this guys flickr from Toy Fair: http://www.flickr.co...s/61839591@N08/ You can also see space suit Wild-Style, with what looks like a plane blue hood in this pic: http://www.flickr.co...08/12212490193/ (off to the right, next to Benny). It appears Johnny's got back printing too!- 2,626 replies

Thanks Doom2099. In fact, on further consideration, it might enhance sales. When I buy a SHEILD "helicarrier Playset" or an AIM lab, I expect, well, you know, AIM and SHEILD guys. CMF's would give you the opportunity to fill the sets with appropriate figures. In another tread, somebody had a great idea of Madrox as a CMF, as you can never have too many Madrox's. I might regret this, but I would happily pay £4 for a SH CMF.

Wow, real excited. I was kind of disappointed about Avengers 2, I was more excited for "Thanos V everybody" I'm expecting in Avengers 3, however, after rereading Perez's Avengers run, and this news about Wakanda, I'm quite hyped up. Really looking forward to DOFP, sounds like the best X-Men film yet. I'm still waiting for when they do the Brood. An I fell of my chair when I saw Blink, I found AoA depressing, but I love Exiles. Really excited about all this. Someone asked about Quicksilver, In all my years reading comics, I've never seen Quicksilver in something like that thing. His original costume, while with the brotherhood, was a green version of his most known blue costume.

We know about a yellow ship, and a brick built Groot, but any other info would be great. Ever since 2012 I've been hoping for a CMF series, the amount of army builders you could have would be fantastic! I thought that the SDCC figs where from a scraped line? As for effecting sales? I don't see that as a problem, as long as you put a healthy dose of lesser known characters in, variants, army builders, Kree, Skrull, Brood, AIM, SHEILD, Hydra etc, and the odd well know character, variant of course like Spider-Man 2099, Doom 2099, or shell head Iron Man. I don't see it hampering sales, as long as they are different enough.

Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Hulk, Falcon, War Machine, Spider-Man, Luke Cage (Power Man), Wolverine, Nova, Iron Fist, and Storm have been Avengers, not counting SDCC stuff, although for some reason nowadays they count Venom as an Avenger. Pretty much everyone and anyone has been an Avenger. MM looks great, wish it was a Marvel fig but I'm pleased to see the JLA expand. That's now Aquaman, Superman, Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman and MM, plus GA and GL exclusives.

Revisiting old topics (Bumping)
Dr Leg O Brick replied to Tom_castlefan's topic in Forum Information and Help
I know just how you feel. Sometimes I feel myself that I'm walking a very thin, grey line, I'm no spammer but I like to discuss and add to a topic, even if its three years old, I just don't want to be court on the wrong side of the law. I think in some cases its alright, where there are genuine, valid reasons to bump a thread, but for a good reason, not a "Nice MOC" or "Lol" as I think kids say nowadays (I hate that). I'd like to see what one of the MODs or staff's opinion is on this. -
Yes, I've been trying all day, and yesterday. Even the forum's down, I could access it yesterday but no luck today. Before it did go down, there was a few news articles about it being a problem with the Firewall or something like that, Huw was contacting the server provider. Funny enough, I was going to make a topic like this, I thought I was going mad, usually Brickset's always up, I only remember two instances since 2008 or so when the whole website went down. The new ones up on the 3rd, I believe.
