  1. Thank you both for the feedback, as always its very much appreciated! As a detour in some ways, I've got something a bit different, another favourite team of mine, (some of) the Exiles! Mimic Morph Nocturne Longshot Feedback is always appreciated!
  2. Personally, I can see both sides. On one hand, I'd love sets based on the Cap or Thor films but, has anybody forgot about the IM3 sets? Remember that Lego aren't given much to base sets on I believe, hence why an otherwise great scene in the final movie can either be entirely inaccurate, or not even be given to Lego by Marvel to base the sets on. Remember Marvel are the ones who make the decisions. Personally, I'd like to have comic versions over movie versions, a red and white Falcon over camouflage Falcon any given day of the week . Be patient though, Marvel wise at least, look at Star Wars in it's first few years. As for DC? I'm not as familiar with that side of the fence but I 100% on the Batman and his Super Friend slackers waves. I loved the first wave, liked the second, but now? At least have it the other way round, Batman teaming up with Supes in Metropolis VS Braniac or something like that.
  3. I bought some superheroes stickers on eBay, I've taken pictures of all the figures I've made using them but these IMO where the best. The rest will be posted tomorrow, I hope. Daredevil Colossus Thing
  4. Alpha Flight! Vindicator Puck Shaman Sasquatch Snowbird Aurora (sorry about the head at the moment) Northstar Also, link fixed with regards to Zemo and Executioner! Thanks about that.
  5. I know, I know, Blasphemy, Blasphemy! I did buy the torsos second hand, hence Wes with four pips. I've been thinking about getting a black marker pen and fixing it, or change Wesley's head to make perhaps Captain's Jellico or Maxwell and give Wesley his grey rainbow shirt. DS9 is next, then TOS I hope, then VOY, then ENT, but that's months away. I've got the heads and hair done for Sisko, Bashir, O'Brien, Dax, Worf, Odo, Kira and a few others, I'm just waiting for the stickers from over seas to arrive. Thank you Holodoc for the comment, I consider it an honour.
  6. I'm back with more villains! I'd love some feedback if you have any, I've taken some more photos so some more will be up soon. Baron Zemo Enchantress Executioner Absorbing Man Klaw Lizard
  7. Sorry to dig this up, but I plan on tacking a few more shots soon of Picard and have them up by either Tuesday or Wednesday. As for what I have lined up at or after Easter Star Trek wise? All I'm going to say is... The Sisko is in the post. It is not linear.
  8. I thought it was just me! Same things happened to me on and off since February. I've found that in addition to the problems you've listed, I can't post pics, my text "flickers" when I highlight a word, if I can highlight a word, my words are overwritten when I go back to retype something and my posts aren't autosaved. I'm sure someone has an answer around here.
  9. Fantastic figs! Love the Polaris figure, the head you chose is perfect for her, and I might just borrow the Wolfsbane idea. The way you did Red Hood's hood is very inventive, I look forward to more!
  10. Here are the promised Iron Man figs, feedback as always is welcome! Titanium Man Crimson Dynamo A comparison between Iron Man and Dynamo. Raider 1 Raider 2 Raider 3 Iron Man (Shell head armour, IMO the best armour he's had)
  11. Thanks! I've been trying to find a use for the clone trooper fabric shoulder piece for a while now. And now for something completely different.... I was planning to post my Iron Man figs but, as a detour, I decided to post a team close to my heart I've worked on for a good long while, the original Guardians Of The Galaxy. Major Victory Still working on this one, I plan on getting two Hydra Tanks when the price has come down, and with the extra Cap I plan on upgrading this figure. The energy shield is a place holder at the moment as well. Nikki (Based on her original costume) Charlie 27 (The only guy who looks normal in Lego form) Gun based on the one featured in GOTG #17 (1991) Martinex Starhawk (The one who knows) Talon Feedback as always is appreciated!
  12. It's at 9,435. I'd never considered the market fit, I always thought compared to other shows it was moderate at least, but, upon thinking about it, I can see a problem arising. I can see a few people who would be pleased if they made Sheldon with his GL shirt on, custom Green Lantern anyone? Not long now...
  13. I have no clue how other projects are doing but, it appears, The Big Bang Theory playset is at 8,710. It was only went past 5,000 on the 12th. As a big fan of the show I can only pray that this makes it past the review and gets made. Just like The Ghostbusters and BTTF sets, I wouldn't care about the price, I'd just buy it. Here's the link: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/58456 What does everyone else think?
  14. Sorry MODs for the triple post, but I have a bit of a backlog of pictures I'm itching to post. I didn't realise that a cat hair had gotten stuck on Corsair's headband in my last lot . Damn things get everywhere. Anyway, here are my next batch: Mr Fantastic Invisible Woman The Human Torch The Thing (I found the decals on the Internet many years ago I believe. All credit goes to whoever designed them) FF group shot Terrax (The hand of God's in this last pic ) Firelord Dr Doom 2099 (Still working on the arms) Doom, unmasked That's it for this morning folks, I might have more later, including some more X-Men and Iron Man related figures. Any feedback would be great!
  15. Who better to follow the Imperial Guard than the Starjammers? (Hepzibah to follow). Corsair Ch'od Raza Sikorsky And some X villains Sabertooth (Idea for parts from EB) Arcade Juggernaut Avalanche
  16. Thank you for the advice! I normally take the pictures by getting two/three plain sheets of paper, propping them up, and then holding a Lego torch over them. Would you believe I took all these in the so called British sunlight, or lack of it, at midday inside. At the moment, moving the whole operation outside would be problematic. I'll try some alternative methods. Any advise on what to make next? I've got a jetpack Scarlet, the World President, spacesuit Lt Green, and White As Snow "I'm a deep sea fisherman" Colonel White for Captain Scarlet and Lady Penelope, Parker, Tin-Tin, and Jeff from Thunderbirds being made. Maybe branch out further into perhaps other Gerry Anderson productions? And finally, on an unrelated note, I'm making a mini fig scale SPV, it'll be maybe a month or so before it's finished, but keep a look out...
  17. Majestrix Lilandra Hoverchair Professor X Gladiator Smasher Second pic of Smasher Warstar Warstar second pic Starbolt Nightshade Manta Oracle Hussar Neutron Mentor Titan Fang Feedback would be great, thanks again. More to come...
  18. He's been known as Beta Ray Thor a number of times, after he's "Thor'ed up". Have a look under aliases here: https://marvel.com/universe/Beta_Ray_Bill
  19. Thanks! The cape was hand made out of a Valentines card envelope, while the legs come from the Olympic GB weightlifter, the head from the CMF S6 Genie and the Mohawk from the CMF S10 Tomahawk warrior. The rest are run-of-the-mill stuff. I look forward to seeing yours sometime if you get around to it. I have six/seven teams left to post, including most of the Imperial Guard, plus some "non team players".
  20. Thank you! Good luck on your scene, and as a special treat, here's a sneak peek at my next batch: Gladiator Quicksilver was my first custom, I hand drew the bolts, then used a craft knife to cut them out. And I'm really happy you like my fastball special, I can't wait to get the upcoming brown costume Wolverine and re make that pic. Thanks as always!
  21. New figures, with more on the way: Fastball Special She-Hulk Hellcat Thunderstrike Hercules Jack Of Hearts Scarlet Witch Quicksilver Back view of Quicksilver Jarvis Feedback would be great! EDIT: A few more, Black Knight Group shot of Magneto, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver Dr Strange (Eye of Agamotto idea came from EB) Luke Cage (Head has since been changed, credit to Purist Superhero Custom thread on torso idea) Wonder Man Beast Beast and Wonder Man Black Panther Adam Warlock Beta Ray Thor (head idea from Purist Superhero Customs thread) Ultron Count Nefaria Death Hyperion Kang Dr Doom (modified armour) Michael Korvac More, I hope, later on in the week. Feedback would be great!
  22. Thank you both for your comments! To start, Rosalind14, I 100% agree with you. I've had about ten different heads for Cannonball and he's had about three different torsos. I'm only sold on the legs. I've seen some great customs of his New Mutants appearance, but with mine I was going after his later look, blue and white with a jacket over the top with flying goggles. I've found that, no matter how many times you think you have the right head, it looks wrong with the rest of him. Im a brickmaster, the legs are these: http://www.bricklink...sp?P=970c10pb01 With this torso: http://www.bricklink....asp?P=973px170 I'll be adding my Avengers and some of my villains tonight I hope, so stay tuned...
  23. Hello! Where applicable, I will add credit to those I got my ideas from, some might be similar to some around, and for that I apologise. I came under fire here on EB awhile back now, where it was said I hadn't contributed much and I was primarily a collector and all I was doing was sitting on my rear adding nothing. Although that was all cleared up, it stuck with me, so, since then, I've been less active here and I've been spending my time taking photos of my customs/MOCs/MODs. Be kind on me, some of these I made after I came out of hospital, using a bucket of spares, a pair of scissors, some felt tip pens, Crayola crayons, comic pricing stickers and some "reference material", some of them might be a bit dodgy in other words. So, enough of my life story, most will be Marvel, I might have an odd DC/2000AD later on. So without further ado, here's the pics, feedback would be great if you have any: Cyclops (90s) Cyclops Thunderbird Nightcrawler Banshee Gambit (Idea from EB's Purist Superhero customs thread) Cable Bishop Professor X A side view of my Lego Professor X mini figure. A mini figure can push the wheelchair along... ...although I wouldn't trust Psycho-lops behind you the way he is in the comics nowadays. Angel Cannonball Jean Grey Sunspot Lots more to come soon!
  24. Tracy Brothers http://www.flickr.com/photos/119365118@N03/13035089743/in/photostream/ Brains http://www.flickr.com/photos/119365118@N03/13035169995/in/photostream/ Space 1999 Eagle pilots http://www.flickr.com/photos/119365118@N03/13035638804/in/photostream/ If you have any feedback, I would love to hear it. I also hope you enjoy these, thanks for looking!
  25. Thank you for the advice! I had a head from the CMF series that I used for awhile, but he looked pretty annoyed. When I took these picks, I switched them back to how I got him. While typing this, without looking, I'm thinking that the CMF blue Police Cop head might be a good switch. At the weekend I'll try to take a few photos. Thanks for the feedback!
