  1. From Lego Dimension's Facebook: Kinda large image of Sonic in Green Hill Zone in Spoiler Tag
  2. For more clarity: Set names, and potentially numbers for most sets releasing in the Winter of 2017 somewhere in the world will start popping up within the month. Once September/October rolls around, we'll see some leaked images for nearly everything, but store exclusives. Lego may also start teasing things as early as September (outside of licensed themes, which get teases at SDCC, which we've already seen ) Official images will hit around mid-November for everything but the store exclusives (which will hit early December at the latest). This entirely depends on whether or not Nexo Knights will see a Winter or Spring release.
  3. If a new game is announced tonight, the game will come out before June 21st, 2017. So technically, the game will be releasing for the 25th Anniversary, as it will still be his 25th year of existence.
  4. Not most likely, they will be announcing the new game on tomorrow... At Sonic's Birthday Celebration. They'll be streaming the event on Sonic's official Twitch channel. I also assume this will be where we'll have the official reveal for Sonic's Lego Dimensions pack as well. Regarding my love for sonic though. It's an unconditional love. Generations is one of the best, but I love the first. I enjoyed Sonic '06 for the concept and story, yet the Adventures brought the best stories to the table. I'm also a fan of the Storybook games as well, and honestly are unappreciated. But let's make one thing clear. Boom game =/= Boom show Avoid the game. Embrace the self-aware show.
  5. I told myself I wasn't going to get into the LBM stuff because it wouldn't be as exciting, as most of it would likely be rehashed stuff. I was wrong And now I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to hold back, as both of those cars are absolutely stunning! I love how the announcement of Michael Cera specifically being the VO for Robin made national news, yet so many people are oblivious. Despite the character's androgynous appearance, Lego always specifically (unless they use a classic smiley head) makes their female characters look female (typically represented with eyelashes at the minimum). It's most likely a combination of Robins gone by. Take the goggles from Carrie Kelley, add the pants from the 60's as well as some cues from other Robins and voila.
  6. That also confirms, officially and unfortunately, that the Titanium Ninja Tumbler is also an exclusive.
  7. I'm gonna say that, due to Target's previous exclusives, I'd say that they'd get the medium sized exclusive set, as opposed to Walmart. In the last few Summer waves, Target has gotten Jay Walker One and Cragger's Fire Striker (both either the larger of two evenly priced exclusives between Target and Walmart, or the larger one in price and part count). Although it doesn't always apply to Lego, Target also leans more towards the "combo-pack-in-a-box" type toys, what with some of their Hasbro, and Mattel exclusives (and does anyone remember 9456-Spinner Battle Arena?). This would mean that they would get 70590-Airjitzu Battle Grounds, which applies to both criteria. Toys R Us is guaranteed 70596-Samurai X Cave Chaos as not only is it one of the only sets not shown at Toy Fairs, but it's also the largest of all the exclusives sets. Also 70595-Titanium Ninja Tumbler wasn't at the NY Toy Fair, so I'll assume that it's Walmart's exclusive. This is me just theorizing, but I think it's the most likely when all things are considered.
  8. A reminder that these are Lego Store Employees we're talking about. Odds are they're just repeating the rumors from the internet. Typically they don't actually know anything until the press-releases come out for the big stuff. But this is info on a 2016 release... When it comes to 2017 sets though, I'm generally curious if they intend to release any additional Force Awakens sets, even though it won't be the 'big movie' out at the time. That and the Freemaker Adventures, I'm curious if that will see anything more. But do focus on the movie/Rebels things first, AmazingBricks.
  9. It just aired at Celebration. The stream was cut before those of us at home got to see it.
  10. Which is funny, because the leaked sets (should they truly be final designs) show that it's a black ship. Gee, where have I heard of this black/dark bley confusion issue happening before?
  11. Insult on Hoth came out in April for May the Fourth despite that being the month of official release* for the Batcave. It wouldn't be too far fetched if the Death Star showed up on September 30th, despite the Disney Castle officially releasing* that month (and potentially the Christmas set) as well. *official release- meaning that it was/will be after the VIP "early access"
  12. Starts at about 2:30 Oh, and most importantly...
  13. Keep in mind that when it comes to abilities, all the Ghostbusters have at face value are their Proton Packs. Having 4 separate characters would make no sense if they all did exactly the same thing. When it comes to the Ninja, each and every single one of them have very distinct and unique skills. Each has an elemental power, Cole is incredibly strong, Zane has a sixth sense of sorts, etc...
  14. The first wave of this year released in March, yet the show aired nearly two months afterwards (in the US) certainly we will see something similar for the next season, especially if there will be more sets for "Rise of the Villains" arc. So it'll probably still be a month or so before we see even the smallest trailer.
  15. Yes. It's not healthy to live on here all the time. (I should know) My GOODNESS this set is beautiful. It certainly lives up to the hype. Love all of the little references inside. I'll be hopping on the boat with those who are disappointed that Cinderella herself is no where to be found, but I certainly don't feel bad without her.
  16. It was also gloriously massive. Sad to see most of Cole's vehicles get progressively smaller as the theme has gone on. Honestly though. I could really use large NinjaCopter sized sets for each Ninja (that aren't Zane themed/dragons). Perhaps even some sea vehicles for each of them (aside from Nya) as well.
  17. Actually Cole's Rock Roader includes the Kendo Cole Card. The Temple of Airjitzu includes both an original Cole and a Sensei Wu Card, and City of Stiix includes DX Cole. I also recall their being a Lord Garmadon card, but that might just be my mind playing tricks on me. The Tread Assault predates the Trading Card easter eggs.
  18. I thought they were the same... To be honest though. I don't think that the movie's success will greatly turn the tide of sales of the story pack. Sure, it might effect it, but there are those who simply want the whole collection of figures/bases or want the coveted 100% completion score for the game.
  19. It's kinda' clear that they're possessed statues, regardless if the "Day of the Departed" name is correct. We see in the character teasers that each villain has their own respective statue on display in a museum in Ninjago City.* We also know that Sensei Yang, the main villain of this season, can possess/reanimate statues (source). It would only make sense that this would be the concept, especially with the fact that all of these villains are technically dead, aside from Pythor, who, apparently, is sided with the good guys now. *Why should we care about these statues, or the museum exhibit at all if they don't have any significance? I mean just showing old clips of the characters like most pre-Skybound seasons did would have made more sense (not to mention more cost effective) in the grand scheme of things.
  20. Early access is technically when they are readily available as it costs nothing to sign up for a VIP card.
  21. They are still exclusives though, and follow the same release schedule. Odds are (and this is simply speculation) is that the next one is Cinderella within the next couple weeks (for the August release), then the Winter Train for a September release (all Lego Holiday sets have come out in the past in September including Advent calendars. That would leave the Death Star as an October (or perhaps a Force Friday/September 30th) release after that.
  22. Well, first off, there's this. That's the 16 new IP's and...? Also here's a post from LEGODalekbuster523: Perhaps they could provide a source to said conversation?
  23. Odds are that this applies to franchises that aren't getting content in Year 2. For instance, should they decide that Wizard of Oz needs more packs, those with orange bases would unlock a battle arena (so only Wicked Witch wouldn't work). As another example, say they don't continue with BttF out of the Year 1 packs. So now battle arena. I mean they did say that they weren't done with some Year 1 IPs.
  24. Lego Dimensions confirmed for NX. Now I debate whether I should pick up the Wii U version, or wait until the NX version comes out.
