  1. Along with those videos, there was a TV commercial for the Stealth Raider. It features the Samurai X Cave Chaos set as a part of its product collection... ...Exclusives sets are never featured in TV commercials.
  2. Your clue when they will show is when Toys R Us gets 'em. The first of the following month they're seen is when they will be officially available. That's always been my gauge, as the Toy Fairs, despite being official, aren't always reliable.
  3. If they were, they would've shown up at Toys R Us Stores already. We're only three days out from June. The argument could be made that Toys R Us is simply acknowledging a street date, but that didn't stop them from putting Duplo, Juniors, City, Creator, Bionicle, and Star Wars out early. Such a shame too, as I not only want to get my hands on those Nexo Knights sets, but Ninjago as well... Especially the lighthouse.
  4. That's a fair trade I suppose. UK gets Ninjago and Nexo Knights, while the US gets Bionicle. For once we get something first.
  5. The Airjitzu Battle Ground set gives me a good 2011 throwback to the old Ninjago Battle Arena and Spinner Battle Arena sets. I LOVE the minifigures as well! Yang, Airjitzu Lloyd, Airjitzu Nya, Chris, Martin - All of them are great! I also love how Chris and Martin, being statues of older ninja, don the classic ninja hood! The new Ninjago Battle Pack set is also phenomenal. ONLY exclusive minifigures. It's great. Not too sure about that Tournament Zane (as it isn't entirely necessary) but that Samurai X though...
  6. Most likely, the reason why we haven't seen Airjitzu Battle Grounds images is because we are the most vocal theme looking for their exclusives. I wouldn't be surprised if the leaks are deliberately being held back in order to hype us up. Bad idea too. Odds are that the overhype will greatly increase our expectations, making the official reveal underwhelming. Never a good idea.
  7. MY GOODNESS That Black Knight Mech is so much more than I wanted. It looks so good.
  8. Makes since. Europe gets the August (US) stuff in June. It's been that way with most of these themes for several years now. I'm a bit curious now though... The Ninjago poster says fall... hmm...
  9. I did. They all say August.
  10. Uh... Did we ever get confirmation that the new sets were coming out in June?
  11. You forgot that the Battlegrounds photo was proven fake... Truly exciting.
  12. The part exists, but it doesn't come in black.
  13. Looking at both sides of that coin, I only see benefits. If the story continues, a more lush universe. If the story is hard-rebooted, than we can get brand new characters and concepts that can be reused in future reboots. Think of it similar to Transformers. The only downsides would be the exclusion/ret-con of characters as well as a discontinuation of the story. The sets would still be just as cool.
  14. Then you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
  15. Beautiful poster. How long until the younger part of the internet thinks that the tagline "Time to close the circle" means the end for Ninjago... Spoiler Alert:
  16. If that set is even remotely at that scale, and with that design... I think I might cry.
  17. Nope. It's all assumed. Lego Movie had a series, sure, but Ninjago getting one isn't quite concrete. If the Lego Batman Movie gets one, then the chances of the Ninjago Movie getting one will increase exponentially.
  18. Probably a little of both. He won't disclose that information, though, as it's not his place to (it has the potential of jeopardizing people's jobs). Also, many people have tried to pry all the details from our big leakers (just2good, CM4Sci, amazingbricks) of where they get their leaks. They are all completely quiet on the matter, and are unwavering from pressure on the matter. It's best not to question them. Besides, Generator Rex isn't prominent in mainstream media today. It's last episode aired in 2013. There is no way that Lego would grab the license for it.
  19. The thing that's so great about the dragons is that they lack consistency. Unlike the 2011/2013 dragons which all had bulky heads and use similar designs, Each Dragon from 2015 onward has been completely unique, and I can't help but love that. And it's great that they don't match the show either. The ones in the show all seem similar at a glance, but the sets do a fantastic job of completely differentiating between them. That would change the very moment Lego decides to release one (the Bounties don't count).
  20. Not really surprising. It's basically Laval's Fire Lion (conceptually) with a different coat of paint (please understand that that's a good thing). Big fire vehicle that transforms with some small attacker coming from the opposing side. The boxes are the same size (length/width) and orientation too.
  21. Curious. Is Captain Phasma supposed to come with a spare cape? I just opened my copy of the set, and there were two inside.
  22. You won't regret it. The thing with RWBY is that it is treated like an anime. A CG anime at that (and probably one of the best). It's in that gray area where it is very much an anime, but it was created in the US. People think, therefore, that it's just a CGI animated cartoon simply because it wasn't made in Japan. It is however being dubbed into Japanese, as well as getting the Manga treatment as well. I can't help but take that as a sign. I personally would consider it an anime, as it being made in the US is the only difference the series has from any other anime. And seeing as anime is treated more as an art style these days, rather than an animation medium, I can't help but feel that it's right to call it anime. Also, typically when big companies like Hot Topic call it an anime, then that's just more confirmation. Oh, yeah, and the soundtrack and Vol. 3 DVD should be dropping this week too!
  23. At first I was like "Oh this must just be a Lego Brand Store thing..." Now I'm fearing the worst... Keep in mind that Tahu has only been out for about 5 months! This better not be the new norm.
