Hi, I am Captain Cookie and this is my Pirate Training Program. So, let me tell ya about the "Three Seafaring Monkeys". Is that a ship? It is a ship and also her crew. So, if you ever see her, just watch out. You can easily spot her - there are monkey symbols on the sails. And what is so special about her? Well, she is owned and run by three baboons. Man, they can set those sails in no time. But you have to check in which mood those guys are in So, if they are waving to you with bananas, everything is probably alright. If they are not, well they might open fire on you the next moment. And remember: if the baboons run out of powder and cannon balls - they will just throw their guns at you. And you don't want to hear about that poor harbour official who went on board and asked where the captain was. They flung him overboard and it took a long time until he finally hit the water... And what are they usually doing? They are importing and exporting fruit, mainly bananas. They seem to be losing some freight on long journeys it seems. And: If you happen to have loaded bananas they might enter your ship and take everything. Apart from that they are really nice guys. Previous lesson

Fine build! Quite clever. -
[MOC] The Heavily Criticized
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Pirate MOCs
Thanks! And as to the criticism - I actually agree and will keep modifying the ship. The only thing to stop me is my growing wish to build a castle I have a certain purist mentality. If a ship can be build with bricks (no cloth, no knitted rigging, etc.) I am actually quite happy -
[MOC] LEGO Eldorado Fortress, redesigned

Great MOC - I'd buy it immediately if it were a set -
Fine action going on there!

[MOC] The Heavily Criticized
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Pirate MOCs
Thanks. Let's see how I can make it look more like a frigate. And I need to make sure that the cargo hold is full of bananas! Well, the baboon comes with the set. I only changed the colour. And they only throw the guns/cannons when they have run out of gunpowder and cannon balls -
Great assembly of piraty stuff!

Fine ship and good building technique.

Well, I tried a lot with this modification of the current creator set... ... but my son still has many points of criticism. However, the ship comes with its three-baboon-crew and fine monkey-logo sails. When port officials asked the baboons about where the captain was, they were greeted with huge laughter and then quickly thrown overboard. The ship even has an improved mermaid figurehead, but still... ... the ship is not high enough, it is too low, looking more like a viking boat... ... the bow is "not right" ... it should have the shape of a frigate, so the forecastle and the captain's quarters should go away ... etc.etc. As I said: Heavily Criticized. Ok, I'll probably re-modify this one.

Well, I did not chose the red. The guys that built the place did it: All the paths around the castle are paved with those red bricks.

[MOD] My new ship inspired by...
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Pirate MOCs
Thanks . Some colours I could not change due to missing parts... I hope so -
I guess that TLG is surprised by their success with the new pirate set. The controllers will not have predicted that somebody would be interested in pirates (or knights?).... But that is besides the point: This beautiful MOD (the "why did they not put this out earlier?") is up for licensing. And I have been bribed by Garmadon that this one will go to the ETWC Yohoho!

Thanks - but you're bumping an old topic

[MOD] 31109 Creator Pirate Ship MOD of Combining 2 Sets
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Wurger49's topic in Pirate MOCs
Very good indeed. Baboon is positively noted! (That is actually why you need the second set) -
I will order two!

Friends, Romans, Countrymen: This lovely ship has been built to sail under the Eslandolean flag: Should you be interested in licensing the ship and should you be Eslandolean - then send me a message with your dubloon offer, and this ship might be yours!

I am flattered. Ok, so what would I have to do? Just post the ship and you pay me something? (this is new, isn't it?) Ah, yes, the killer rabbit. I have some knights to go along with it! I am still wondering why I forgot this ship. I built it, took pictures, did not get to do any sort of sails .... and then I did something else I already did that tried. Must have picked the wrong link And you noticed it! EDIT: The wrong link is stubborn. I have replaced it now several times. After saving my signature, the old link manages to return... Thanks, sir!

Here is a ship I thought I had posted months ago.... (current RL events seem to have an effect) The White Rabbit (or, as we would say in Germany: "Se Vite Rabbit") I have tried to work with SNOT-techniques to mimick the curvature of the ship. .... and I have no sails I am quite happy with the small crew, though: And this is where the name cometh from: You sure I have not posted this before?
