House of the Scientist
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
At least he is from a rich family. He's probably going to spend a fortune on his experiments - and he wants to be part of the "Royal Society of Natural Philosophy" -
I think you are the first one to re-use the circus director's torso in a pirate context - but it seems to be ok! Fine MOC!

REVIEW: 70324 Merlok's Library 2.0
Captain Braunsfeld replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for the excellent review. I still don't know what to do with those Nexo Knights. The combination of knights and high tech still seems strange to me and nothing I would have played as a child. So, for me the question is whether there are some good minifigs or special bricks in these sets which I can then use elsewhere. In that case the Book of Revenge is fantastic, but I will probably not buy the whole set just to get the book... -
A great build with true "Mitgardian feel" to it. BTW: The pics could be a bit larger. 800x600 seems to be the recommended size around here.

Ah, this is clever (why haven't I thought of this)

[LDD] Steampunk Car.... thing....
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Electricsteam's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
A bit of gold might be missing, but apart from that there is definitely enough steam. Well done! -
[moc] The last peaceful explorer
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Space Police XVIII's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Soooo great -so classic! -
Very good layout here - the castle is top! Not sure whether the kitchen is the best place to put it, but MOCs of this size are difficult to photograph, so I can understand your inspiration behind this.

Fine! The water bit got much better with the addition of the translucent bricks. The frog pond is also my favorite part!

When I hear the word "mine" I immediately think of some mountain build, but you managed to show us overground and underground work simultaneously - great idea!- 18 replies

[MOC] The Golden Age of Chicken Aviation 8
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The reflections are terrible. I also had to do something about them in the other balloon pictures we posted. Well, this lava scene was one step from the "flame scenario" we had posted the other day. Currently we have one or two more to go but then we have to get some fresh ideas to keep rolling. Let's see.- 11 replies
