  1. Good that this was frontpaged because I have not seen the MOC when it was published. And it is great! It is huge, well-built and full of action - a worthy winner!
  2. Fantastic layout and story - and those trees! More!
  3. A fine variation of frosty beasts!
  4. Fantastic - great design!
  5. Thanks Well, one thing that is happening is the letter to a fellow scientist. And the rest is still to be built!
  6. Fantastic ship, Kabel. The rigging has worked out well. I think I have seen an early stage of this - and now it has blossomed to full beauty. "Brick on" as they say
  7. Tiles would be good indeed. You may steal the "letter design" as I have also borrowed it from somebody else Oh yes, old naval rum will do the trick!
  8. Impressive, yet a bit crewless...
  9. I am considering giving up coffee ... although the building is nice.
  10. I think I have heard or seen a similar story somewhere before
  11. Delighted by the success of his latest experiments, Alberto da Pontelli writes a letter: Dear Mr. Hawksbrugh, I am very thankful for the book you sent me on the possible existence of phlogiston. This has enabled me to achieve an unbelievable breakthrough: When you set fire to the gas that comes out of a bottle of old Oleon wine, the resulting phlogiston is powerful enough to lift objects. (edited) I can only encourage you to carry out some experiments for yourself. It would be interesting to find out whether other substances besides Oleon wine do also possess the same qualities. Your friend Alberto da Pontelli .. science has a tendency to spread ...
  12. I will ... time takes time (Alberto is scribbling eagerly...) Dear Don Isaac Montoya, I feel honoured that news of my modest scientific experimentations have made their way to The Society of Natural Philosophy. And I can say that it is true: The power of phlogiston is able to lift objects into the air. The ball of cotton is able to carry they weight of a coconut! I am sure that - given a larger apparatus - it will be possible to also lift boxes and chests, which would mean a great relief for all workers in the harbour and other places. I have enclosed a paper that captures the key elements of my findings. Should your travels bring you near the city of Pontelli, I would be more than happy to have you as my guest and to demonstrate the apparatus (it flyeth!). Best regards Alberto da Pontelli Thanks - I need to calculate my current assets and then it would be a good addition to the city of Pontelli!

The character ... will probably be involved in deep-sea-diving activities Thanks! Good - somebody mentioned the wall design! Thanks! Dear E.T. Wilkonson de Chauncourtois, I am delighted to have received your kind letter. Very happily I will accept. Yours, Alberto da Pontelli Amazing how this all fits together
