  1. I always thought that bad jokes were my domain, but those victorious secrets of the Carribrickean were really fine
  2. Tough call, guys. There's a bunch of great MOCs involved here!
  3. Thanks - does this mean that I should include your character as well? The chandelier was a bit difficult as the thing kept moving/oscillating for a long time, whenever the MOC was touched or moved.... Anyway, it was time for such a build. The invitations had gone out some time back.
  4. Ok, fine, now we seem to have 2/3 of the story I'll keep checking for the rest. (I think that all these computers miss the feature that you could smack them when they don't work properly...) Keep on with your "Calamity Queen". Your next build is going to be about the great gold rush? Or was it the grand copper craving? The strange silver search? One more question: Is it van Bricktoven or Brickhoven?
  5. Thanks - feel free to re-use any of the design... I found the inspiration for the shark somewhere else anyway The monkey was supposed to sit on the grey box near the roof. But the photoshoot was too boring for him so he went away
  6. It is good to see that you are not obsessed with the colour of gold, as many others, and so this ... hang on... I'll start again. I was reading the story with great interest when suddenly the story stopped but the pictures continued. So what is she doing with those pistols? Who is the guy that gets killed and lies flat on the royal floor? Is Queen Annetta about to set up a gang together with her maids to become a second Dennis Moore? Or will she become the famous "Dancing Queen"? So many questions Otherwise fine
  7. Fine build - the lantern outside is excellent!
  8. Thanks - the Nexo shield came in handy. I was not sure what kind of sign to chose for the tavern. I have experimented with a few mugs and cups - this seemed to be the best approach. What you see on the floor is a smashed version of a beer mug.
  9. Wow, now this ship comes out bright and shining! The new pics are fine - and now we can start to wonder why these guys have such strange haircuts
  10. Cool scene, very well staged and shot!
  11. Great creation - and funny too (I think threewheelers are funny by design).
  12. Thanks - I like that blue sky. ... in any case he is a good-humoured visitor. You're right, there could be a spy. It is actually a coincidence as there was a considerable time lag between both scenes - and I just put KB in my MOCs from time to time. I hope he means no harm...
  13. Last Friday in the "Three Cannon Balls" tavern: ... some trouble started... ... the usual trouble in a pirate tavern. (with a variation of the lighting) Initially I just wanted to build the interior of a pirate tavern, but then it seemed possible to have a somewhat decent outside too (with a - admittedly - very basic roof): Larger pictures and more on flickr. C&C welcome!
  14. In the meantime, Alberto has traveled to Elysabethtown and has met with Elysabeth of Drondil.
  15. Following his induction into the Royal Society of Natural Philosophy, Alberto Antonio da Pontelli was invited to present and demonstrate his findings in Elysabethtown. So he jumped on board the next ship and arrived a few days later to be greeted according to his position as Mayor of Pontelli: Alberto was accompanied by his wife, who brought the cat, George da Pontelli and Colonel Brickinson. He was received by Elysabeth of Dondril. A few days later, Alberto traveled on to meet with Hawksbrugh in Port Raleigh: They met in the famous tavern "Three Cannon Balls". Alberto was once again joined by George da Pontelli (or was it the other way round?). Innkeeper Burbutter's beer is said to be of highest quality. C&C Welcome Larger and probably better pictures on flickr. (You will need to scroll down)
  16. Great and funny story - and the restaurant is "awesome". So many innovative details here! I like the lanterns in front of the building, the pavement, the tables, the windows....
  17. I like the last picture - looks like a cog, right?
  18. Fine ship - and I strongly recommend some photo-editing, as it could look like this:
  19. perfect
  20. Looks great - and the ballista is pretty fine too!
  21. Fine ship - one of the finest we have seen in this forum! Soooooooo many great details!
  22. Ha! The detective story continues. Excellent. I like your version of the painter's palette - and the tidy room is quite aesthetic.
