Poor bunny. It's funny how the simplest creations are often the best.

This is stunning, with a lot of excellent details! I love how you have framed the windows, the tan highlights below them and the balcony on the large curved part of the building. The tree looks great too.

Plenty of times. I usually like to walk around the store with the box in my hands for a while. If I can still put it back on the shelf after doing that, then I know it can wait for for another day. I have done that a few times with the Gungan Sub. I'd love to have the Queen Amidala, but have no interest in the set as a whole.

MOC - Elders Merchandise & Real Estate Office
Kristel replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
Having a fuel depot next to a pub seems wrong, so I guess my answer is on the right end. I don't recall ever seeing an Elders with a bowser. -
the secret of the old tree - Castle Diorama
Kristel replied to markus1984's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is really great, packed full of nice details. I particularly like the broken bridge and how the roots of the big tree extend into the rocks. -
These buildings are beautiful. The detailing on the blue and grey one is just superb, particularly how you have framed the windows and the arches for the walkway. I also like how you have done the bridge and the way the base is cut out to show the water. The wedding proposal is also a nice touch!

Welcome to Eurobricks! The great thing about building in the mini modulars scale is that you don't need so many bricks. There have been some great examples of modulars built to this scale recently. Be sure to check out the entries from the Modular Madness competition earlier this year if you haven't done so already.

[LDD MOCs] Brickdoctor's 2012 Star Wars Advent Calendar
Kristel replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Great start! I'll be following this one too. -
I think you have the basics there, but does seem a little out of proportion and too blocky. A couple of suggestions: double set of wheels at the back and more curves / less studs on the roof (maybe use a bonnet piece at the front end of the roof?). There also seems to be a gap between the roof and the doors and windows.

MOC - Elders Merchandise & Real Estate Office
Kristel replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
Very realistic. You're great at recreating that little Aussie country town look and feel! -
Great scenes and story to go with it!
-
This is so cute. I agree, much better than the official one from LEGO.
-
Wow! Thanks, CopMike. These prizes are awesome. I got my finders crossed for a Queen Amidala!

Another great scene. I really like the details on the prison. I though you had left out the beast at first. It took me a while to find him, as he is well camouflaged.
-
Reported. This kind of thing makes my blood boil.

Another great entry. Voting is going to be hard. Well done!

Loved it from the start to the very funny finish. Well done! Good luck in the contest.

This is looking awesome so far. I love the shark tank and jellyfish display. I'm very jealous of your collection of sea creatures! I also like what you have done with the dolphin show. The dolphins leaping through the hoops look great. One thing bugs me though. The shark tank and jellyfish display feel like they are under / in water, but this effect is missing in the dolphin show. I generally don't like to make a criticism unless I have a suggestion to offer also, but I must admit I have no idea in this case.

I really like how you have integrated these Friends sets. This works really well! I have been thinking about how to pull the Friends sets together better for my daughter's layout and it hadn't occurred to me to stack them. Interestingly, her layout also incorporates a few My Little Ponies!
-
This layout is just beautiful! I love how everything feels connected and alive, like its a real town. The sky background looks fantastic too. There are too many specific details that I like to point them all out here, but I did want to mention the folded up umbrella in front of the hotel. I hadn't noticed this detail in earlier pictures of this building. Very nicely done.

What do you think of CMF Series 9 teaser release by TLG?
Kristel replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I voted yes on both counts. It's nice to get some confirmation and I like how they haven't given everything away by only showing us the backs of the minifigs. However, I wouldn't want to see the official early teaser images too early. The speculation discussions wouldn't be as interesting then! And the anticipation would turn into frustration while I wait for the actual series to be released in stores.
