  1. Merry Christmas, sdrnet. Your town hall has a great Christmassy feel to it, and fits in nicely with the official sets. The detail that really caught my eye, though, was the tree and water fountain. That is a great little MOC in itself. The little truck is cute too. Good luck in the contest!
  2. Merry Christmas, harton. With all the festivities and exchange of presents at this time of year, it is easy to forget that there are a lot of people doing it tough. Neat little MOC. Excellent parts usage in the bench and lamp post, and the snow in the bushes looks great.
  3. Merry Christmas, castor-troy. I once again find myself drooling over your layout! The church is stunning. I like how you have used the grey technic parts for the trims on the facade - very effective. Might have to keep that in mind for future builds. The two modified MMV buildings look great too, and that last picture shows them off perfectly. How many MMV sets went into those two buildings?
  4. Merry Christmas, Lightning. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year. I've really enjoyed watching New Mannum evolve and look forward to following its progress in the New Year!
  5. Thanks for sharing this great little story. Merry Christmas!
  6. Congratulations to everyone who won and thanks, again, to CopMike for the awesome raffle. Nothing for me this time round, but there is always next year. Hopefully the Gungan Sub will be a decent price in the Boxing Day sales, else I'll be heading off to BrickLink too for Amidala.
  7. Fingers, toes, arms, legs and eyes crossed. Check Alarm set for 0:00 GMT. Check Big thank you to CopMike. Check
  8. This looks great, just like the real thing. Love it!
  9. Welcome to Eurobricks. I wish my parents hadn't thrown out my childhood LEGO. The fire one is from set 6611 (Fire Chief's Car). The stripes one is from set 1966 (Car Repair Shop) or 6609 (Race Car). And the number 3 one is from either 6605 (Road Racer), 9355 (Dacta Space Theme set) or 9356 (Town Environment (also Dacta)). The BrickLink catalogue is the place to find this stuff. A warning though ... BrickLink has a habit of emptying wallets.
  10. Very clever, dr_spock! I like it. I'm still here as well, but I think it's still the 21st in some places in the world ...
  11. I think I have a new favourite. This looks fantastic. Well done. PS. How do you find anything on that cluttered desktop? PPS. I think you've started a new trend for backgrounds for our MOCs!
  12. You've done a great job with the wooden tower. It looks fantastic. Oh, and cute crocodile too! I think I'd want to hug it rather than run away from it.

    Hello

Welcome to Eurobricks. The modulars are hard to resist. I wonder how long it will be before you give in to temptation?
  14. Another great chapter and scene. The stairs look great, but I see how they would be a pain to build. I also like the gorilla faces on the bat minifigures - the bat faces creep me out.
  15. I would never think to put green and red together for a building, but his little house is perfect for an advent calendar. It's almost a shame Christmas is so close, as I've really enjoyed watching this and all the other personalised advent calendars unfolding. Merry Christmas!
  16. Nice little scene, but I'm not sure if they are meant to be menacing or welcoming. Interesting hairdo on the guy in the bottom right of the picture.
  17. It's all happening in this scene. Looks like absolute chaos! I love the facade on the top floor of the building. This would be great for a residential modular.
  18. This is simply stunning! Your attention to detail (like the lead for the large diner sign and the lights and the fan (?) having from the ceiling) is amazing. I love how you have done the front counter and the jukebox. Can't wait to see version 2.0!
  19. This is hilarious. Love it! The Christmas-themed handheld missile launcher is awesome.
  20. This is just gorgeous. I love the greenery, the rocks, the gently cascading water, ... everything, actually. The shrub with the white flowers is definitely my favourite part.
  21. This is wonderful! Every detail is just spot on. The roof, window and brickwork is superb, and the palm tree frames the whole scene perfectly. I also like the use of the technic pins for the straw in the crib. Merry Christmas!
  22. Merry Christmas! Your kids built this? Hope mine is half as talented when she is that age.
  23. I haven't got a single answer to your questions, but I do agree that this looks like a cool little set!
  24. Work mode off, holiday mode on!
