Welcome to Eurobricks, Emma. Looking forward to seeing your MOCs!

I'd be running as well, that's quite an impressive army you have. Great presentation too!

This extension really suits the GE and looks a bit more realistic actually. I also agree with Legocrazy81, though, that the townhouse doesn't look quite right.

I just uploaded this on Flickr: Hopefully this will go a little way to giving this blog post the attention it deserves. Mods, let me know if this is inappropriate to post here and I will remove it.

Great blog entry. It was particularly interesting to see how the Friends set compared to the other Lego themes. I often feel that those who criticise the Friends line haven't really taken the time to fully appreciate it for what it is - a great new line that has introduced new colours, new accessories and introduced Lego to a market that might otherwise not even consider it as a toy for girls. I will do my bit to try and give this blog post more exposure.

The Octan trucks look good together. I love the idea of a refinery or fuel depot. That tank is huge!

No, I like your new addition. I was, however, waiting for somewhere to pay for the fuel? -
I noticed this in your signature sometime during the year and it stuck with me. I'm not sure I would go as far as saying it was a turning point, but I slowed down on my spending and focused more on building in the second half of 2012. More generally, I didn't know what to expect when I opened the Flickr account and joined EB in May this year. The first MOC upload was nerve-wrecking for me to say the least, but I've been having a blast ever since. My husband thought this was my mid-life crisis at first, but I don't think my love of building with LEGO is going away anytime soon.

This modular is gorgeous! The colour combination and trims on the house look great. I also like how you have done the front porch, with one suggested change: use one or two of the four rows of the front porch to can add another step or two, and make the steps to the front door a little less dangerous for the residents.

I answered "Low" to this question because of the high retail prices for LEGO in Australia. Unfortunately, there was no where to put a comment and have a little rant about this. And the only currency options were USD, GBP or Euro. What about AUD, or at least a drop down box? On the positive side, it's great that LEGO does take an interest in the AFOL community.

I love the simplicity of this vignette. Cute penguin too!

7. by Rumble - 1 point 24. by TrumpetKing67 - 1 point 27. Purpearljellyblob - 1 point The world needs more superheroines! TrumpetKing67, I wasn't sure whether that should be positive or negative 1 point for bringing back all my high school memories from the 80s. Including that really bad hair, which is pretty much what mine looked like in the late 80s. Honourable mentions to dr-spock (for capturing mild-mannered and menacing in one shot), JackJonespaw (for great presentation) and sparta342 (for the weirdest looking eagle).

I like how you have done the conversion to a modular and the stairs look fantastic. It looks great overall, although a little out of place next to the more traditional modulars.

MOC: Dakar Rally Truck

Wow! Awesome truck and great video. Love the rollover and the ending. The trucks were always my favourite category in Dakar. -

Another great chapter and excellent scene. Lots of great details. I really like the sails and the use of the lightning bolt thingies (no idea what they're called, obviously) for the ripples around the boat. The micro scale Hogwarts looks great too. I was worried that we were going to have to wait awhile for this next chapter, given how intense Heartlake Heartbreak seems to be!

Nice building with a great interior. I like the simplicity of the design, which suits a greenhouse really well. The only thing I would change is to add some clear cheese slopes on the top part of the walls that the roof sits on (where the exposed studs are). This would reduce the blockiness of that part of the building and just smooth it out a little. I am curious about the brown and tan building in the background. Looks like a nice house.

Nice ute! One minor suggestion ... add sides to the tray? -
Welcome to Eurobricks, Daniel. Sounds like you're on the slippery slope already. It doesn't take long!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I saw the title, but this is hilarious. You can tell it's designed by a man, as it has no practical value whatsoever. I expect it wouldn't be the most comfortable bra, probably hurt quite a bit, actually ... and, no, I am not going to volunteer to test it out!

I love the base you've made for this. It's not Lego, but its looks fantastic nevertheless, and perfect for showing off the Winter Village sets.
