BrickLink is a great way to buy parts, but you do have great sellers and not so good sellers. Check feedback and store terms before you submit an order.

This is really great overall, but especially the roof!

Thanks soccer kid! I'm glad you like it! Thanks Rook! That and minifigs ... I always forget to include some people in my shots! Thanks Mutant Orc! Abereuron looks like a gorgeous and laid-back place. Love all those bright coloured buildings. Might keep the Google search page bookmarked for a while!

This is an awesome modification of the Haunted House! I love the colour combination you've used and the way that you have done the front verandah, particularly the tan trims and inverse arches.

Not sure in what way this florist has failed, as it looks pretty good to me! I love how you've done the front of the shop. Would be great if TLG produced those 1x1 round with tabs in the colours you've used!

The alternative posters looks great, but I think I prefer the solid colour stickers.

I think they're cute, and will be a big hit with the kids!

You already said she's amazing and understanding. I agree with joeygunns - you'll be right! If there's any doubt, just show her what people are building with LEGO. She'll be amazed.

This is perfect! It looks realistic and I can't kill it by forgetting to water it.

These are both great, but the yellow one is definitely my favourite!

These look fantastic! Thanks, too, for sharing the details. I've looked for transparent sticker sheets before, but have only been able to find ones for laser printers (I have an inkjet).

Congratulations on becoming a dad! Life doesn't have to end though, you've got months before the little one starts crawling. As long as you're careful about not dropping pieces on the floor, you should be OK until they start pulling themselves upright on the furniture! Very jealous!

Thanks for the kind words eurotrash, oirad, timmy, pilpod, Xcod119 and Andy! It really means a lot to me. Thanks Kivi! I hadn't considered using a round tile. But you're right, it would end up with vertical lines showing, whereas the current version only has horizontal lines. Thanks Wodanis! The mirror is a 4x6 tile with studs on three sides, with the mirror sticker from the Friends Beauty Salon. It's attached to the back wall rather than the dresser itself. You can see two grey bricks on the back wall, which bugs me! There is a solution using only sand blue parts, but that was going to be quite expensive. This is the only fully built modular that I have at the moment. And my boxes of white and tan bricks are just about empty as my daughter has been using them for Creator houses. Thanks ER0L! 16-stud wide modulars are definitely my favourite and I like the challenge of making a (mostly) complete building in the limited space. Having said that, there's two 32-stud wide WIPs sitting on the table at the moment.

Thanks Johan! Now you've gone and made me blush! While I like the little balcony at the top, the chunk out of the roof is definitely my least favourite part of this building. I tried softening the effect with having timber rafters across it, but I couldn't make that work. I hadn't actually thought to use a solid awning. That might just do the trick! The mirror sticker is from the sticker sheet for the Friends Beauty Salon. Thanks Redhead! I imagine a minifig sitting on the deck looking at over the ocean. Not right on the beach, but close enough. Thanks Vincent! A lighthouse could work. I tried a boat ... that definitely didn't! Thanks, LT. One of the things I'd like to improve on is making the buildings a little more lived in, rather than looking like display homes.

Hi everyone! I'd like to present my latest modular building, the Sand Blue Townhouse. This colour combination reminds me of a seaside village (none in particular, just a general feel), and I've tried to capture this in the interior. If it looks familiar, it is because it is. This townhouse was originally started at the same time as the Tan Townhouse last year, when the Modular Madness competition was announced. I was trying out different colour combinations and facade variations for the same building. It's only taken me a year to finally finish this one! I included a fridge in the kitchen. This is one detail that I consistently forget about! The blue and yellow "artwork" hanging on the wall is my attempt at capturing the sun over the ocean. The seaside theme continues in the bedroom ... And in the bathroom ... More images on flickr. Thanks for looking! Comments and suggestions welcome.

Collectible Minifigures Mafia: Sign-Ups
Kristel replied to TrumpetKing's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hi, my name is Kristel and I'm addicted to Mafia .... 1. Trendsetter (because of the dog) 2. Yes 3. Yes 4. Aperture, Harriet Slutter, Mafia, Silver City 5. I'm sure Hinckley will keep you in line! Note: Trendsetter was my daughter's choice ... she likes to comment on my character avatars -
Nice window! I also like the skeletons on the wall.

Very nice! He looks relaxed, but then who wouldn't be in those gorgeous surroundings!
-
The facade is really nice, especially the seamless full height bay windows and the asymmetric roof line that can be seen in the image of the back of the building. However, it's the inside that really stands out for me. So many clever details and techniques - I love the wardrobes! The lime tiling is not something I would have considered for a kitchen floor, but it too looks great. Well done! You've been ...

This is great. The bulldozer is just too cute!
