Mafia After Dark - Day 3: 25th Hour
Kristel replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
No messages from Tam, so I guess I am free to talk as much as I want. First though, I need to get through today's lectures without falling asleep. Why does my big brother keep us to these odd hours? -
Mafia After Dark - Night 2: Mean Streets

The lack of suuport to vote for him suggests to me he is scum. The fact that he hasn't come back makes me think he might be town. I don't know which is correct. -

I agree that the lack of support for voting for DoÄŸukan is interesting. Another thing I also noted was that he hasn't come back to address the votes against him. Surely, if scum, his fellow Ferraris would have been on to him to at least post something? I appreciate it is late in the night, but I will reluctantly do this in order to move us forward, one way or another. I say reluctantly because I am on the fence about Byron - I don't think he has been particularly helpful, but I'm not convinced he's scum either. Unvote: DoÄŸukan Akbulut (Dragonator) Vote: The Great Byron (Bob) -

I only compared you to yourself, not to anyone else. Just to clarify, I only know that I was blocked. Since the only thing I can do is talk, I was blocked from talking. I don't know if the blocker was specifically blocking me from talking. That would be an unusual action, although feasible given the nature of this game of life. More likely they were just blocking me from using a NA (or should we be calling it Day Action?) if I had one. I've been working on the assumption it was a Ferrari that blocked me. -

You're right, I didn't post during the day. Given the big night we'd just had, Tam suggested to me that I should sleep all day. I assume this means someone blocked me. Before you all start wildly speculating about there only being one kill during the day and me being blocked, the only effect of the block was to stop me from talking. So, no posts during the day. The others that didn't say anything during the day were DoÄŸukan, Priscilla and Donny. Presumably they weren't all blocked, but chances are one of them was. We'll never know if Donny choose to stay silent. Who's Dakugan? And, seriously, these are your contributions for tonight? On the topic of DoÄŸukan, though, I agree with Byron's assessment. His response to being called out didn't have much substance and specifically didn't address the fact that he'd said nothing during the day. For these reasons, and for generally not contributing anything helpful to this point, I am going to: Vote: DoÄŸukan Akbulut (Dragonator) Priscilla also fits in the "not helping us much" bucket, so I'd like to hear from her also. She must be too busy with her hair, make up and nails to prepare a list of Ferrari suspects for us. A couple of other observations: It might help if you pose some questions and do some analysis yourself. Funny, because this is exactly what I was thinking about you. You're being awfully quiet compared to your usual lawyer-y self. -
Mafia After Dark - Night 2: Mean Streets

Our discussions so far today do seem a little inconsequential. Interesting to note, as Jamie did, that Shane's comments tonight has driven the conversation. Similarly, the discussion around policy lynching on Night 1 started with Shane's comments about there not being much to do until we get some night action results. I've noticed that our tailor hasn't been very helpful to date, and didn't even bother posting during the day. Guess he must be busy tailoring things. -

I think the most likely scenario is that our vig chose to show constraint, and Donnie's killer was either SK or Ferrari. As for the SK, we know there is a third party and I'd agree with Patricia that it is likely they would have some sort of killing role. I would assume they would choose to make a kill. Assuming that the Ferraris would also choose to kill at every opportunity, it may be that one of the killers was prevented from carrying out their kill. That's a bit waffly, sorry. What I mean is that Donny was most likely killed by the Ferraris, but we don't know that for a fact. We don't have much choice today, given what Tam said earlier ... -
It looked great and the story was so sweet!

I'm not familiar with this children's book, but the steam shovel looks awesome! There's some really great details, like the eyes and the effect created by the curved slopes on the cabin roof.

You've really captured the essence of the actual building. Well done!

Very cute! The forced perspective looks particularly good from this angle.

Very impressive, both in scale and details! I particularly like how you have down the ground level awnings.

Mafia After Dark - Night 1: The Godfather
Kristel replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
As I said in that post, I don't think there is much of value to be gained from a policy lynch. Chances are everyone will vote for the same person and then what do we have to work with? For example, we'd have information about the timing of someone's vote. But how valuable is that when it's a policy lynch? See above and your own answer. We're already learning who's for and against a policy lynch. "Best bet" based on what? That's what I see as the problem here - there is no "best bet", at least not to me anyway. Given the lack of votes up to this point, I'd hazard a guess and say that no-one else has anyone that they would like to offer up as the "best bet". Unless we lynch the vig or SK, we could start Night Two with up to four Malones gone (lynchee + up to three others). If we don't lynch, we could start Night Two with up to 3 Malones gone (0 lynchees + up to three others). That part I bolded is not dependent on what happens with the lynch, unless we happen to lynch the SK or Vig. It's not a policy lynch if we have a reason for the vote, and then the voting patterns and discussions can potentially give us something to work with later on. There's a big difference between voting because we think someone is scummy versus voting for someone just because they were the quietest during the last X hours. I will be the first to post a vote if I have a good reason to think someone is scummy. I'm trying to learn from past mistakes. I should have checked for new posts first. -

I'd be happy not to lynch anyone today because the odds are that we will lynch a Malone. Unless someone slips up, it is unlikely that we will have anything solid on which to base our votes. There is potentially some information to be gained from voting patterns, if we were to policy lynch. I guess the question is whether the additional information gained is worth a Malone's life. On balance, I doubt it will. What is your stance on the policy lynch? -

Don't worry, Tam, I'll help you weed out those Ferrari moles. You're going to be so proud of me! -
Nice fence! I like the expression on the guy on the right in the last picture! We'll have you doing modular buildings in no time!

Mafia After Dark - Day 1: Confirmation
Kristel replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks, Tam, you're the best! I knew you'd get that fixed. But, please don't call me "Krissie", you know I hate that. I'M A GIRL!!! And I'm a Malone, which means I don't do handcuffs. So, unless you want to tie yourself to the bed and start apologising for being such a naughty police officer, this game is over. -

There was a typo in the guest list, but Tam will make sure that doesn't happen again. He has such a way with people, they never make a mistake twice We can still play though. -

My big brother is just the best. Tam does so many great things for this community! One day, I'm going to be just like him. -
This is really cute and could easily be one of those little impulse sets!

Great facade! The colour combination gives it old world charm.

1. What is your mafia experience here on EB? How about other sites? 5 games, as per my signature. All on EB. 2. What do you think of your performance in EB Mafia so far? What are your strengths and weakness? What do you want to improve? Overall, not too bad, but I still have a fair bit to learn. Strength - I don't trust ayone. Weakness - I don't trust anyone. I need to improve my town game, specifically not looking scummy when I am town. 3. What do you think of the no-PM rule? I like it because I don't like to use PM anyway (see strengths and weaknesses in answer to Q2). It will make the game more challenging for town.
