All this sh*t for this? Whatever happened to working together towards finding the scum ... my vote stands for now. -

I'm getting impatient with this game she is playing. Vote: Esther Thompson (Esurient) Your vote is in the wrong format. -
Thanks for the great review, Cecilie! These guys are really cute. I had a chance to play build with Fabuland parts and figs today (first time I'd seen it other than in pictures). Now I definitely want some of my own, and even more so after reading this review.

If you're town, I'm not in favour of you claiming here. If you're scum, go ahead and claim. -

Why are you playing dumb? Captain Nemo was 1 vote ahead before you switched your vote. There was one other vote to come (from Kenneth) so Caleb's fate technically hadn't been sealed yet. After your vote switch, Caleb was 3 votes ahead. Assuming no further switching of votes, your switch did pretty much seal Caleb's fate. Especially when you consider this switch came just one hour before the close of the day. You left little time for people to react. I don't think scum would have targeted Esther last night if she was town. Better to leave us wondering about her allegiance than confirming it for us. Furthermore, there would have been a chance she was being watched or protected, meaning that any action directed at her could reveal one of them or be a wasted action. Notwithstanding her supposed PR claim, protecting her last night would have been a risky move for town because of the possibility that she is scum and that scum were watching her. I'd hate to think a townie PR risked exposing themselves last night by targeting Esther with any action. I think the latter - Drake was probably meta-killed by scum. Drake's comment about getting a closer look came across as role playing to me and nothing else. But she was being a quiet mayor during the day despite the active role-playing earlier on. That may have led the scum to believe she was worthy of a kill. This seems like a big leap of faith. Can you explain your reasoning a bit more? Agreed. I noticed this too, but assumed she was trying to save her own butt. This applies equally if she is scum or town. In summary: Drake was probably a scum kill, based on her behaviour and the MO I want to write "scum" next to Esther on my list because she is still alive, but I can see why nobody would go near her last night. I'm keen to hear what she has to say. There's not enough information yet that I'm aware of to determine whether vig choose not to kill or was unsuccessful. Lots of possible scenarios, which have been mentioned already. Same goes for the independent, assuming he/she is a serial killer. -

This kind of thing makes my blood boil too. I hope they can identify them from the CCTV. -
You can create a wanted list from a set inventory on BrickLink. One of the tabs under the "Wanted" tab is "Part Set". This allows you to part out a set straight into a new wanted list, and then you can use that wanted list to find stores.

Plus one more thing. If they are using it to try and draw out PRs, then the gain might be worth the risk. -

Silver City Mafia: Day 1 - Once Upon a Time in the West
Kristel replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
While I don't think both are scum (more likely only one is), I remain wary of both Esther and Sheridan. Here's my train of thought: My role PM came 21 hours before Day 1 started. Assuming everyone else got theirs around the same time, it provided lots of time for scum to talk and develop a strategy. And what better way to avoid a lynch, especially on Day 1, than planting the possibility that you are town. In the case of Sheridan, the claim is difficult to verify. We would need a role cop and, if we do have one, we don't know yet if the action will return just "vanilla" or "vanilla + allegiance". In the case of Esther, a PR is something we don't want to lose. So, both have given us a reason to keep them around, but nothing has been verified. I can't help but feel that we are being played by one of them. But, I'm a townie and I don't want to vote for someone when there is a chance that they are town. For now, they don't get my vote. My thoughts on others: Michael - he seems to be role playing more than contributing Caleb - I think he's playing a little dumber than he actually is Beatrice - on my list because she's only made two posts. One to say we should stop flogging the dead horse, and the second to vote for Michael for his odd defense of Sheridan Connie - another with just two posts. The first to say he's giving the dead horse a rest, and the second to say he'll come back later with his thoughts. I've got both Michael and Beatrice on this list, with Beatrice voting for Michael. So it's probably unlikely that both are scum. On balance, I'll Vote: Michael Thompson (Mencot). I believe he is trying to be middle of the road with his role playing and the comment in his last post ("Na just messing with you") doesn't seem very townie to me. -

I would appreciate you rereading my posts (all of them), not just the two that conveniently allow you to cast suspicion my way. I'm not going to throw in a post just for the sake of posting, and I'm not going to post unless I have something to add. There's enough Day 1 filler posts to wade through as it is. This vote drew my attention. Not because of the reason for the vote, because I actually agree with some of the logic, and I can see how scum could benefit from this claim. Rather, it's because of the lack of analysis of the the possible options you set out earlier: You responded to someone who questioned the likelihood of item 4 in your list. However, you have not told us why you have ruled out the other possibilities. As a townie, I don't think it's a good idea to lynch her just yet. Your willingness to vote for her already (notwithstanding the doubts we may have) makes me uncomfortable. Night actions give information that we can use to start clearing people and testing claims. I don't understand how you come to the conclusion that Day 1 is the best Day for scum hunting? It is full of filler posts, role-playing and wild accusations. I am confused as all buggery as to who to vote for (although you're looking like a good option at the moment), yet you seem quite confident in your accusations. Only scum can vote with any confidence on Day 1. You've already said that. The question I have is why soft claim at all when you were only at 3 votes, with the next person at 2 votes? There was (and still is) still lots of time in the day for responding to accusations and defending yourself. Making that claim so early on does not make sense. If you're town and have a PR, you should be holding on to that information for as long as possible. We don't want any of the town PRs revealed unless absolutely necessary. There was no reason for you soft claiming when you did. At this stage, the only ones you've helped is the scum by revealing you have a PR. Esther makes this long winded post, but says nothing really interesting except for this bit: And the bit you decide to focus on is me asking her about it? I think my response above addresses this. I don't want any town PRs to be revealed. What I don't understand is why you focus on me calling her on her soft claim? I see this as you trying divert attention away from Esther. -

I am town and taking everything in with the intention of trying to identify who the scum are. I don't have a clue who to vote for at this stage. I've already said how I feel about Sheridan's claim. I'm not ready to lynch her over it yet. I'll ask a question when I think it's appropriate. Like this one: Esther, why not claim now if you have a good reason not to be lynched? -
Fair enough. I have the next scene mapped out in my head. Plan to build and upload this weekend. I saw the brain alien Breez in a shop yesterday. I think I'll stick with the one I have.

Was planning on doing a couple more scenes, but it wasn't my intention to upset anyone. Just trying to get into the spirit of Hero Factory Month.

Silver City Mafia: Day 1 - Once Upon a Time in the West

I'm here and following the conversations with interest, just don't feel I have anything of value to add at this point that hasn't been said already. -
This is even cuter in real bricks! The little green tractor and red train are my favourites, but they are all cute. I imagine kids (big and small) would love to play with this.
-
This is a stunning building! I love the dark tan features on the outside corners of the building, the trim over the entrance and the monorail carriages.

Would love to see that. Hopefully you can post a link to the video or transcript afterwards? The interview bit, not the bit about you making a fool of yourself.

Sheridan, I made no mention of a third party and was not suggesting anything of that sort. I said I don't think you're scum because it doesn't seem like a scum thing to do. But, I also don't see why you felt a need to come right out with that first up. You say you've explained three times why you want people to speak up and state their opinion. If you hadn't asked this multiple times, we probably would have some people trying to fly low and potentially someone or more to focus on other than yourself. -

Howdy, folks. We've certainly had an interesting start to the day. Why is it important for everyone to state their opinions? We can probably learn as much from people who don't react to your claim as we do from those who do. For the record, I think this is too ballsy a move for scum to start the day off with. It doesn't make sense to draw so much attention to yourself this early on, especially when there wasn't any reason to think that you would be investigated. Probably not scum, but I don't think we should trust you just yet. I see I raised you well, my son. These are wise words indeed. -
