Thanks, everyone, for the nice comments! It means a lot to me. There were a couple of strong themes coming through. Firstly, the need for lipstick and, secondly, the top dollar paid for the kisses. On the first, this is something my 6.y.o. daughter apparently agrees with. The conversation I had with her went something like this: Me: It's a kissing booth. She: The boys pay her some money and she gives them a kiss? Me: Yes. She: OK, she's going to need some lipstick. At this point I'm wondering what they are teaching her at school / who's she's hanging out with because that is something that definitely didn't come from me! On the second, the looks on the guys faces suggests the kisses are worth it. And it's for charity, after all. Out of uniform, so the wife doesn't spot you! That would be funny!

This is great!! I particularly like the facade and the nice solution for hiding the gaps created by the spiral staircase. I'm looking forward to seeing this in real bricks!

Hi! Here's my entry to this year's Expand the Winter Village Contest, the Kissing Booth. Hope you like it! Manning the booth is hard work, so the girls are taking turns, and keeping warm by the fire between shifts. More images on flickr. Thanks for looking. C&C welcome!

Great entry! There's some great details here, particularly the hams!

This is awesome! The details inside and outside are just fantastic. I particularly like how you've done the bedspreads!

This is stunning! I love the concept and how you've executed it. The details, like the guy screeding the concrete, are spot one. It's always a pleasure seeing your creations! Thanks for sharing.

This building has a great facade, but I must admit I'm not sold on the colour combination. I do, however, love the interior details, especially the beds. Just perfect.

Can be either, but this suggests more commonly town role http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Vengeful_(role) If it were vengeful scum, why are they using it so early? It would explain the odd behaviour. -

That was unexpected. I had pencilled in 'town' next to Tumi's mugshot. -
Ragnarök Now Redux - Day One

I am not comfortable with this approach at all and feel like I am being bullied into voting to satisfy Dufa's need for action on Day 1. I am not going to vote for Mist because I don't think she's scum, but rather a townie who has a little more trouble than most to articulate what she is thinking. Re-reading the discussion around Mist made me realise too why Wilhalm's first post probably came across as forced to me. Notwithstanding that he hasn't been particularly helpful during the day (there are others that fit that bill too), I'm going to: Unvote: Wilhalm Bloodaxe (WhiteFang) Between Petr and Sigrid, I think Patrekr summed it up well: I really don't understand what Petr is on, but I find it hard to believe that he's really dumb scum. Sigrid just seems lazy town to me. Given we don't have to vote, this is not a decision as to who is the least helpful townie. I have a choice not to vote and I'm not going to put forward a vote for anyone that I think is more likely town than scum. It's worthwhile quoting this just in case someone missed it the first time around. -

Apologies upfront for having to make this a quick one. I have to go pillage for the next little while. There were a couple of things I wanted to point out: Whether or not he was active or around was not a factor in my vote. It was what he said and how he said it. I am wary of Helga. My gut is telling me not to trust her, so this may subconsciously have been a factor. The reason I raised Dagstyrr has already been discussed. I don't consider him a suspect and made this clear early on. It is Helga and Jarni (and now you, I guess), that keep bringing up Dagstyrr. I just wanted to hear from Helga about it. Chlodochar and Wary are both on the radar for their votes, but I am undecided whether it is lazy town or scum bandwagoning. I've got to pillage now, but let me know if you want me further clarification on any of this. -

Convenient. Are you going to do this with everything until it is clear which way the wind is blowing? The answer to the first question is no, unless he is an Einherjar, in which case I'm hoping he comes off his mushroom high soon. The second question is irrelevant because I am Einharjar. I didn't appreciate Helga trying to associate Petr and me because I think Petr is acting like an idiot (that's the polite public version of what I was thinking when I read that post). Uhm, no. The reason I voted for Wilhalm is because I felt his very first post of the day was forced and he isn't adding anything of value to the conversation. Here is a link to the first post and his second post and my initial reasons if you need to refresh your memory. And this is Wilhalm's third post: I didn't understand the reference to the bingo book, but overall, I felt this post also wasn't adding anything of value to the conversation. And yes, I don't trust Helga. In fact, I don't trust anyone or anything at this point. Do you believe that I should just blindly trust whatever Helga has to say? I'm also curious why you think Wilhalm is an easy target, and who you believe are the other easy targets that I've supposedly been going for so that I can defend myself? I think the only "easy target" here today is Mist, who several have been happy to bandwagon onto. -

All I am asking is for Dagstyrr to contribute (see the third sentence below). The reason I don't think he is a Servant of Loki is set out in the second sentence below. Note the use of the phrase "highly unlikely". Nothing is ruled out until it is confirmed. Just wanting to understand Helga's reasons for her statements, that's all. I've got to learn to use more words. Here's my train of thought: Helga specifically mentioned Baulf and Sigrid, who had both barely said anything to date. But there was another person - Dagstyrr - who had said nothing at all, who was not mentioned. At this point I wondered why Helga had mentioned Baulf and Sigrid, but not Dagstyrr. Helga's post looked like a list to me (see below). So, I asked Helga if there was a reason she left Dagstyrr off the list. I had read it as: Baulf doesn't say much, Sigrid doesn't say much, and a bunch of others haven't said much. Helga has since suggested that the last statement in the above quote was not a follow on from the statements directed at Baulf and Sigrid: -

Well, actually you did. Unless I misunderstood the purpose of this last statement in the post quoted below? Notwitstanding our disagreement about who brought up the inactive players, my focus was never on on Dagstyrr to the exclusion of others. I've already stated that I don't think he's really a suspect: The only reason I raised him was because you looked to be concerned about inactive players, but then left off the most inactive. other than this, I'm pretty sure I haven't said anything about inactive players. Also, where did I say that I was waiting for him to speak before I would do anything. Are you trying to put words in my mouth now? Button 1, button 2, button 3 .. got it. *Presses button 3 repeatedly.* Exactly. For this, and the reasons I stated earlier: Vote: Wilhalm Bloodaxe (WhiteFang) -

What the ... ? I see you have kind of explained yourself. I still wanted to note it nevertheless as one of the weirdest things I've seen in this game of life. But then, my history with the game is not that extensive. Do you mind clarifying whether you are hesitant or not hesitant to vote for Mist? I don't appreciate you putting words in my mouth. I never said you had to list every single one. And I don't appreciate the subtle association between myself and Petr. I agree with the first part of this, but let's not forget that you were the one who brought up the inactive players in the first place. I was just wondering why you left off the most inactive. -
Love it! This is really cute (not sure if that's what you were going for).

Thanks for the awesome review, Whitefang! There's a couple of "must have's" for me like the Panda Guy and the cat lady, but I struggle to get excited of the collection as a whole.- 131 replies

Ragnarök Now Redux - Day One
Kristel replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sure, just for you. Wilhalm is at the top of my list at this point. His first post of the day came off as a little forced to me, and then the one that got him on other people's radars: I agree that this does little more than make him look active without adding anything useful. I thought it was interesting how Helga pointed out that that it's normal behaviour and we can't read anything from it yet. I think Naemr is sounding a little less flustered at the moment compared to other times I've come across him in my pillaging travels. I'm still to determine whether this is because he is an Einherjar or a result of coaching from Servant of Loki buddies. I'm leaning Einherjar. Jarni, do you know that Helga leaving Dagstyrr off the list was a mistake? Or do you just want everyone to think it was a mistake to deflect attention away from another Servant of Loki. But then it's all about reactions to poking at this stage of the game, isn't it? Like the way you poked Mist. I thought even for you that was stretching it a little too far, suggesting that he was learning from the great Paris. I'm not sure about Mist. Some seem to think he's worthy of a vote, but I think he's been somewhat reasonable and sensible so far. I would like to hear from Dagstyrr. He's not really a suspect because I think it highly unlikely that a Servant of Loki would bring attention to themselves by not having posted yet more than a third into the day. But staying silent isn't going to help us find the Servants.
