  1. Not quite sure what you mean with the first sentence but I have done some changes so I might changed it unintentionally. I really hope I can figure something clever out then (I move my creations around a lot so I don't have any choice ) The upper gun deck where lowered by 2 bricks just a hour or two after I took the pictures today, it looks a lot better! (i'll post some photos of it tomorrow for sure!). She isn't based on any real ship but my main inspiration is the HMS Vanguard (hence the name of the thread ). It will be a pleasure to prove you wrong *insert evil laugh here*
  2. The other day I started working on my very first Ship Of The Line! After seeing all of those fantastic ship's I could no longer resist the urge to try it out myself. So here I'am. As you all know this will be a project that will take a couple of months to finish so I figured I should let you see the building process and give some helpful advice if you feel like it One of the things that I just want to tell you all is that she will be built on Pre-fab Hulls, so don't even try. I have already done some progress that I will show you in the following pictures: Her is how she looks like right now. I didn't really have a choice when it came to the colors. I have way to many brown parts to just let them lay around, the black is well, standard and the dk brown was very cheap. This isn't of course the final design so your inputs are more than welcome! This will be her total length, 8 mid-sections in total. Just like any proper ship of the line she can be split up in parts to reveal her soon to come interior. I hope you all will enjoy the ride! P.S she have no connections to the real Vanguard, I just had to quickly find a name.
  3. Great work! I'am not so sure about the white around the canon ports tho.
  4. Thanks a bunch Bonaparte! I definitely agree. My love for the Armada I got from the old "Chess" game that Lego made, and in that game there was a couple of cut-scenes featuring the Armada Flagship set and I have been in love with the Armada sets ever since Thank you very much Captain!
  5. I could potentially try DK red, and thanks! Haha, thank you!
  6. Your new version is looking absolutely fantastic! But I just have to ask, how many jumper plates is that?
  7. Well dark blue won't happened in the near future and I don't now if I like the thought of LG to much but the third option definitely sounds good to me! I'll definitely give it a shot! Thank you for your inputs!
  8. I wasn't sure whenever she would look good as Brig or not, that's why I made the sails out of paper, and I agree with you, she is a bit small. So I will definitely try to convert her into schooner. Do you recon that a set-up similar to this would look good?: http://brethrencoast.com/ship/schooner.jpg As for the yellow headrails - I'am open for suggestions
  9. [pid]S-PS22-15D[/pid] Here she is! My very first ship in two years. I've had the armada flagship hull laying around since I bought it (only the hull) 2-3 years ago and I finally found the insiration to build something with it. It was a truly challenging build due to how narrow the pre-fab hull is. But I think I where able to pull it of in the end. This also happens to to be my very first Brig, Gallery Hope ya'll like it and have a great day!
  10. Excellent work! Love the way you guys made the connection between the two models!
  11. Great work on both creations! I really do like all the features that you guys put into them!
  12. I would still love to see you do one aswell! It would be really fun to compare two custom models of the same set! Thanks!
  13. I have uplaoded a couple of photos on my brickshelf now: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=540241 I will of course add them here but right now the homework is calling!
  14. Thank you!
  15. If it's a pirate MOC it is going to on here, thanks!
  16. Haha, yea. The best present of them all I thought I would be able to get them up today but tomorrow seems to be the day of photographing thanks mate! I really struggled to get the small place for the canon to look a good. Thank you! Thanks!
  17. Thank you very much! :D
  18. [pid][/pid] 244D Hello everyone! It's kind of crazy to think about it but it have been 2 years since my last pirate MOC was uploaded to this awesome forum. Of some strange reason I haven't built any pirate related stuff until a couple of weeks back when I woke up one morning and just felt that it was time, time to bring life to my beloved pirate collection. Best. Decision. So.Far. The first place I went to was of course Classic Pirates for some inspiration, another great decison After just 15 minutes of lurking around on the forum I was motivated enough to start the building process, and then I realized I had not decided what to build yet After another fifteen minutes or so lurking around on Brickset I decided that I wantet to make the Eldorado Fortress! I had a blast putting it together. Especially since it uses a bunch of different colors that I'am not used to use in MOCs. Neither could I use many modern technics since I wanted to keep the classic feel of it. For more picture please visit my Brickshelf: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=540241 P.S I turned 17 last Tuesday so you better wish me happy birthday

  25. This was just a fun little build I made to display my Brickstuff lights (there will be a picture of it within the next hour or so). I was feeling a bit lazy so I used the base for the Market Street as most of have probably already noticed.
