  1. I do like DBG myself, so I like to see it all in full detail when someone suggests a color.
  2. I'll give it a try! The loco is now coming to life! I had a surprisingly large portion of the required parts at hand so I got quite far! Quite a bit of detail is lacking tho and the CMF-stands will not be used on the tender.
  3. Might be worth giving it a go either way! LBG is preferable to DGB you say?
  4. Thanks! In terms of design the current roof-design is more accurate, however it's not executed all to well. Will take another look at that. Yes it is! As a matter of fact its in the works as I'm writing this. Thanks, I see what you mean. Didn't realize how far up they ended up. Another detail to attend to. Thank you! Before settling for this design I was considering a snot-built variant using 2x4 curved slopes instead. Perhaps its worth trying that out, just to have something to compare to. Thanks for the input. I was worried it might look a bit "squished". Thank you!
  5. Some more details added, most notably in the front section of the locomotive. Biggest change is of course the re-scaling of all three. Mostly happy with how it turned out, although I might need to shorten the passenger wagon a bit. Thanks! Yes they are intended to be the same scale. Which is quite telling on how off-scale the L-drivers were for this locomotive.
  6. Thank you Selander! Yes, the height is the current issue at hand. Making the tender taller will be rather easy. The locomotive itself I think I can raise by 1 plate without compromising the design. As for the passenger wagon it can be lowered by at least 2 plates. Hopefully this balances everything out! This is my first time attempting using larger drivers than Legos L-drivers. So I suppose its a bit of a learning curve. I will definitely try tweaking the heights. Thank you for the input.
  7. Couldn't hold myself. XL drivers and medium driver on the trailing wheels, still working out the new proportions.
  8. After much consideration I placed an order on BlueBrixx a few days ago. So in the community tab's dedicated BlueBrixx-thread I'll have a little review up as soon as the package lands!
  9. Very well done. Great photography as well!
  10. Next up is the Tunnel Transport! My personal favorite vehicle from the game. My intentions was to smooth everything out a bit and unify the model, as the original have quite a smooth front section and rather bulky rear end. Personally I feel the redesign was a success. Oh and it has lights.
  11. Thank you! Very much reasonable. He really makes quality content! It is a strategy most delightful.
  12. A truly splendid build, well done!
  13. Updates to the stern have been made! It now slopes witch gives it a much more natural shape.
  14. A project most exciting!
  15. Yes I can send it to you!
  16. Plus tripple connections. Looks interesting!
  17. What pieces are they using for the pistons? Something new or a piece I’ve missed?
  18. Sure! Not entirely sure how one does that but we'll figure it out. Studio file will be (attempted) to be made available to whomever wishes!
  19. Thank you so much for the kind words! I finally got my hands on set #4930 this year finishing up a complete collection of the widely released sets. I've also "accidentally" bought quite a few duplicates so I can keep one of each complete while taking apart the rest for MOCs. Adventures is definitely one of my favorite themes, up there with Rock Raiders and classic pirates. Haven't gotten around to make many MOC's in that theme tho, I'll keep a look-out for yours at least! R.R. Slugger quickly became one of my favorites when it comes to Lego-media. Very entertaining and wonderfully nerdy. Have been subscribing to him for a solid 2 years now!
  20. The final version is somewhat done! The biggest change I've done since last is to reduce the heigh of the hull by one brick. It might not sound like much but personally I'd say it transformed the overall aesthetics of the ship. It appear much sleeker now. I also updated the stairs leading up to the poop-deck. The previous ones didn't work well in the classic pirate style. Lastly a person on Flickr made me aware of the fact I had the balcony wrong. It doesn't slope upwards in the middle, it actually curves outwards! Don't say sorry. I'm just happy someone is interested in my build! The Governors cabin is furnished, not the most extravagant tho but its there. The lower deck have a floor in it and cannons. However due to the design of the tumblehome they cant quite stand up straight. However I have added a loading bay in the middle (like the one on the black seas barracuda) where one can position minifigures. Piece count is 1603 pieces! I have tried to not make it all too expensive to built, the hull and masts however will be quite expensive if one have to buy them from Bricklink. Thanks! I will be using Brickstickershop's replica sails from to the Caribbean Clipper: https://www.brickstickershop.com/Replica-Sailset-for-6274-Caribbean-Clipper They are great quality and matches up well with the original sails.
  21. Next model to recieve an overhaul is the Large Mobile Laser Cutter. A really cool vehicle that was sadly never released as a set but was playable in the game. I have made complete instructions for this model so if anyone is interested just send me a PM and I'll email them to you.
  22. Thanks. I'm rather pleased with my design as it stands right now but the proportions has bugged me since it was completed.
  23. The first edition had bricks in colors that were never offered, so i had to make some sacrifices... I hear I hear, I shall make the men work faster! It would be fun to make an alternative design of the existing model but with two decks, and more accurate.
  24. Very nice build! The proportions look great. I recently built a B01 but used only genuine Lego train wheels. Which I have now concluded are just to small. What size are the ones you used? XL or XXL?
  25. Parts list will be available once I'm finished. Instructions I'm not sure of as it would take quite some time. A lot of progress have happened. The model is now much more complete. Colors have also been corrected to whats actually available. So this is close to what it will eventually look like in real bricks.
