  1. Though I think it's abit hard for a sequel to IO, I still expect to see any official IO LEGO set (please approve Oky's project, LEGO ).The main problem is that it's hard to choose a story franchise with multiple main/icon characters to join the CMF series, unless LEGO confirm that there would be many more CMF series waves or regular sets. The could just choose Joy and Sadness (they're the top two in the aspect of storyline), but no other three together would be a sad thing. Incredibles is a similiar case, but hopefully its confirmed sequel brings out some LEGO sets. I still believe that regular Princess sets should be in charge of the characters by all means , so not having princess's in this series wouldn't be the deal. I would recommend some other Disney heroines that aren't princess-related instead (remember that we have Kida the unofficial princess ). Tarzan sounds fine to me, it's not the least favored or noticed Disney film after all. As for that list, my main doubt are: 1)Just ONE Disney Villain? There could be at least two. 2)All IO emotions included seems unreasonable, cause not all Mickey gang included in this series, too.
  2. Not sure. Did doing the same part(hairpiece) in alternative colors for multiple characters save the cost? Or, would a recolored Paleontologist hat fit on the Controller?Sumo's bun seems to lack the "fineness" for girls who supposed to look pretty. I would prefer to see Padme's short bun reused for this Dancer.
  3. Wow, you do very nice adaptions to the original designs . It's gonna be a very decent calendar ❤
  4. Ha! Cute "reintaur"
  5. Randomly choose some old ones. Glad that the new series had my wishes come true (though not the same design). Hope that they can do Hime since the Queen looks quite successful.
  6. Overall though in the first sight: Uhmmm..... an average series to me, not too bad compared to the Monsters. My dissapointment is that Satyr doesn't have a unique body color, despite how much I love this character. The Queen should be the star of the whole series, but more curios about how her skirt works. Very glad to see a Ballroom Dancer design (and I agree that a Black Swam rival would do a decent job. It's very difficult for me to fall in love with the Farmer. And the Animal Controller.... I THOUGHT that LEGO did introduce tons of new girls hairpieces these years, didn't they? I know the animals are the real stars, but not like LEGO couldn't do it better. Have we seen a black pig yet? Well I know it's a habitus to say so, but not having more girls wouldn't be a really good news. Considering that TLM had the most girls in that series.
  7. Well, the Camp Tree House idea is actually pretty similiar with 31025 Mountain Hut, except that it's a regular set with a tree and much more details. Livi's house has very good tastes and does stand out from any other LEGO house. I might wish that this house could have less white and more magnta or black. As for the town shops, they do add varieties to LEGO streets, but kinda wish that they have a baseplate for the top roof instead of leaving them open.
  8. Of course the pics show fake cloners, do you mean that LEGO has leaked the parts so that cloners could get it even earlier? Otherwise, it meansthat the cloners have improved so fast that they can design original molds by themselves.... This Snow White is really close to my imagination. The Belle hairpiece seems not good enough.
  9. Well.... quote my own words from other thread. I believed that these are also mentioned previously.
  10. I'd just imagine that Mikey would look like the Kubrick version with short legs. Since a Monster sequel isn't announced yet, his inclusion is neutral. However, if going into the next choice from that franchise, Boo or Celia would be more suitable than Mikey.
  11. Not very sure if my prediction works. I would follow these rules: 1) No characters that would better fit in different types of figures (animal figures, large action figures... etc). 2) No characters that belong to Disney Princess range, excluding Disney Villains. 3) No characters that appear in a recent movie franchise or have a chance to return in a future sequel so that LEGO could make them in regular sets. (The Incredibles, Toy Story gang... etc. My own wishlist/prediction Mickey and friends: 1)Mickey + Pluto 2)Goofy 3)Donald + Chip 4)Minnie 5)Daisy + Dale Disney animated films: 6)Alice 7)Peter Pan 8)Captain Hook 9)Cruella + Patch 10)Maleficent 11)Jack Skellington + Zero 12)Ursula 13)Stitch Disney Channel 14)Agent P Pixar 15) Carl 16) Alfredo + Remy Live action films: 17) Mary Poppins 18) Sam Flynn I see that some predictions think not all Mickey's friends would go into the this series (could still appear in the next one), so I add three candidates here: 19) Jafar 20) Yen Sid 21) Hannah Montana
  12. Compared with the Kubrick version (which don't consider characters' comparative scale), I think Mikey would be a short-legged figure with sphere head mold, and Sulley's size would be between Jun-Chi and Hagrid. Baymax also fits in an original bigger action figure.... and I rather say that it's another recent Disney franchise LEGO shouldn't have missed. The broom is hardly qualified as a member of minifigures. As for Fantasia Mickey, it'd be a choice for the second series since the retro version usually goes first. Yen Sid is an option, though, regardless of that CMF in-house version.
  13. Thanx for all supports! You mean print on the 4x4 slope? Glad you think so. :) I believe that Elves should be the most compatible LEGO theme with Hobbit if they used the same figure system.
  14. Traditional animals are usually options for special figures or accessories. For those individual characters who have more than 50% human traits, they could also be designed as a regular figure. Like said before, they wouldn't have the same actual scale with other figures. Your point usually explains that LEGO have to include as many characters as possible. Here's part of an old KUBRICK catalogue: Oh and yes, here are Fantasia Mickey, Sulley and Mikey.....
  15. The ship looks.... ummmm... very innovative and real to the film.... but probably one of the least LEGO-like licensed set in recent years.
  16. Haven't updated the photoes for a very long time.... anyway, here' a very small update. Skyra, the wind guardian
  17. Offtopic part: seeing that LEGO begin to do some sets featuring animals for Friends ad Palace Pets, I think licensed animal sets have a good future. Aristocats, Fox&Hound, Lady&Tramp, Bambi.... etc, all sound like good references for animal sets. LEGO don't have to do human characters which cannot appeal the kids. If so, Disney animal stars don't have to participate in CMF series.Back to CMFs, the possible teams are still Mickey&Pluto, Bolt&Penny, and perhaps Cruella&Patch, considering that Cruella is such an iconic Disney Villain in all franchises (sorry Roger ), Me too, but I'm not liking another Stay Puft Marshmallow Chibi.
  18. Let's shall not forget those badly-treated Disney animals from Disney Princess sets, starting with Bruno. But these examples remind me one thing: some of the Disney films majorly focus on animals, and it's hard to imagine that the animals would go with their human companions who appear less as major Disney stars (Roger, Mrs Darling... etc). Do CMF series give them advantages? Monsters come with many different sizes and I'm not very sure if CMF series are their chances. Sadly LEGO missed to do the prequel, anyway.
  19. I do think you provide an interesting idea for core fans of the game who want to display their pack collection. If you could go with a more "box-like" direction (that every pack has a standard box size and consumers can freely put them in the way they like), this might actually work as an Ideas project. Although, in the view of toys, I would love to see those absent franchises (Disney, Nickeledeon, etc) together.
  20. I don't care too much about the number cause there are just too many Disney classic characters (of course, the more the better, it's still a good thing). Even if there are additional seats, some may still complain that their 19th favorite character isn't in this time. I'm rather curious if future CMF series also have more figures, too?
  21. Sorry for being so late for months!! I've been pretty busy on my work and personal artworks. Hopefully I can keep up with this forum more frequently. 1) It came out when I wasn't old enough to touch PCs. Well, as said, my project aimed at figures that needed new parts. So if we need to make Island characters return, their looks need redesigns, too. 2) It's my local studio who aided me so not sure if you can ask for help too.... as I know they own Makerbot printers. Thanx! You mean Mardolf the Orange or Baron? Obviously I'm the one who's not on-topic. So not sure if you have tried any idea? Just curious. I understand the part that new molds are not automatically allowed, but they mays still be posted in the projects. If they're allowed, it's the best luck. If not, they wouldn't bother LEGO's decision unless most votes directly relate to the molds. In other words, Ideas projects have to focus more on buildings than figures. Social media is the part I'm nor good at.... make a introduction is fine, but just like those approved licensed projects, they know how to send messages to other fan bases.
  22. Grrrrrrr.... Chinese is my native and unfortunately these don't work for me. Perhaps sort of hieroglyphic writings? "龍神" is the most typical and standard writing here. I can see "惡" (evil), "斗" (similiar with "鬥", fight). I don't think 羊, 山, 平 relate to their elements, maybe these are something else.
  23. The thing Simpsons and Woody bothered me could be that molded heads ensures no chances for us to get the classic hairstyles (I've been wishing to see Marg's hairpiece or similiar ones), although, almost twenty kinds of hairstyles from the CMF Simpsons line is a true challenge for LEGO. This might depend on whether we need those hairstyles/headgears and whether we need to apply different headgears to these characters. suppose that most of us believe that Marge's hairstyle should forever belong to her, the case can be easily closed. Other than that, we also haven't seen irregular LEGO heads with studs that allow them to wear headgears, and not sure if it could ever work.
  24. Indeed. No matter whether BTTF sets are coming, LEGO has missed the very golden date of the "future" and this cannot happen ever again, so sad...... Wish that all Dimensions-related franchises can be as lucky as GB.
  25. Definitely NOT a letdown. More medieval style buildings and more importantly, new adult dragons! It's wise for LEGO to pull out dragons that look less evil or more friendly from Castle sets and they look great for Castle MOC scenes. Can't wait to see more!
