  1. I don't think Superheroes-related franchises would become a choice of CMF since that is a really big moneymaker, otherwise LEGO would have made it the first licensed CMF series prior to Simpsons. As for Ninjago or TLM2, they're LEGO's originals and would be classfied as special themed series. But yeah, it might be possible to see other license candidates to take turns or replace Disney one day. IMO, unlike Simpsons which won't have growth in its main cast, Disney franchises not only have classics but could also keep growing. Wonder if it could have a long stay in CMF.
  2. Depends on which way you expect them to be. If Rescue Rangers is still ongoing, there's a 90% chance for theses two to be done in individual figures, just like Tinkerbell's own cartoon series. I wouldn't mind to see them as minifigures. But on the other hand, making them microfigures could also save spots for other franchises in a general view.As for itcht&Scratchy, one of the couch gag scene showed that their sizes are not too different from humans, but not sure if that's a canon reference. No confimation, if the first one doesn't sell well, absolutely no second one. Maybe the spots of Mickey&Friends would be a usefull indicator.
  3. Chip and Dale might appear as microfigures in this series or as minifigures in further series. I also miss the TV shows you named and would love to see them, but based on the fact 90's or 00's shows don't appear in recent Disney toys nowadays, I'm afraid to say their chances are not big. Though I support to see some TV show characters, I think the ongoing ones would own the advantages. Not sure about it's potential in LEGO so far. It might be a choice for regular sets, but we now know it won't be in 2016 spring catalogue. If no regular sets, it would be nice to get a Judy in this series. As for other recent Pixar films, IO has been discussed. Spot appeared in Disney Infinity and could be a choice, but I personally think he's a kinda weird choice (Arlo isn't the main figure and Tarzan seems to be a more iconic Disney jungleman.) Considering Marvels, I think Big Hero 6 deserves a regular line treat, and LEGO skipped it on purpose, obviously. And Baymax has killed the possibility in this series, we all know that. Well, we can hardly see all Disney Princess members in this line, so I'm afraid it wouldn't be what you wish for. Heard from the regular series discussion, LEGO's production lines are reaching their limit, which means they don't want to do more than three series per year. I would say that Disney series, if it has very good potential, should stay as once a year cause other chances have to be open for more linceses or special themes. In conclusion, I think either Ludwig, Pete or Clarabelle is considered secondary to the main M&F group. So let's wish that this series can come to a success so it would eventually be their turn in further series.
  4. For now, since Mickey&Friends is the origin of that franchise, we would have to see Mickey first and Scrooge's order may be similiar with Pete's. Especially the triplets would have conflicts with CMF series' diversity of individuals. (Marge's sisters managed to pass through, though). In earlier post I talked about having some TV show representives here. But the franchises would have to be more acceptable to kids as LEGO toys, like Gravity Fall, Phineas and Ferb. And since this drama series is big enough to pull out a regular theme, it's not a CMF series choice either.Sorry to say I'm not too familiar with this franchise. I think it would count as a collaborative work rather than 3rd party licenses. A similiar case would be Kingdom Hearts. As for Up, it wouldn't be impossible since the story just focus on these two and the won't need more slots in CMF series. But I do hope to see a LEGO Up house set achieved in Ideas instead. Remy+Linguini would be another ideal pair to me. Generally in the Pixar category, I would understand why Incredibles is picked first cause it has the most human characters that cater to LEGO's major targeted kids. So the rest of Pixar franchises are not so certain. Most of them are possible considered as unattractive humanbeings by young boys.
  5. I'm not saying physical things, but just the matter how many Mickey&Friends we would see. There's no doubt this franchise is the major one, but Pete would be in the sixth or seven place in the general order, anyway. He won't be in this series, that could be a sure thing. Well, in the first place, she's not yet a minidoll. Yeah, that's why I says LEGO might have not made the deal yet. But we don't assume that everyone cannot wait until then. Or perhaps Edna would update all outfits so we'll see some different versions then .Not sure about the microfig idea. Tinkerbell has her own franchise and could be considered an individual, but then, that would indeed ignore her comparative size. Her physical parts could be useful in other ways.
  6. 1. Unicorn 2. Milkcow 3. Parrot?
  7. Well, Scooby-Doo's cartoon franchise has been active, but I think the 2015 lineup try to catch the major content of Scooby-Doo rather than giving details from the current TV shows or direct-to-videos from this year. So the chance of doing this franchise for another year doesn't seem to be very big. Otherwise, at most, we have to wait until 2018 to see if some movie sets are possible, since most of the LEGO licensed sets are based on movie franchises.
  8. Alice + Heart Queen sounds like a good pair, but wonder if White Rabbit works as a minifigure. Hope she's from a franchise we've never seen before, anyway. There's not always a match, I guess. If every franchise cannot give more than two or one characters, it better just depends on which one is rather more iconic. Cruella V.S. Roger could be an example. If there's just two places for Peter Pan, I'd choose Tinkerbell over Hook (although I like him too). While villains could be considered to be a supplement to the current Princess line, Disney Villains is also a franchise of its own. Especially there's no real villains in franchises like Winnie or Mickey&Friends (uh, suppose that Pete won't come) and it would be useful in a crossover play. As said, my main doubt is if a possible Incridibles2 line comes, it also says we have unnecessary figures in this CMF series. But probably LEGO hasn't made the deal at this point, or, they might want use this series to test if they'll bring back more Disne/Pixar regular sets like before. They skipped many recent major film franchises like Big Hero 6 and Monster Inc, that probably means they were not optimistic about Disney franchises last year.
  9. No Scrappy is the most and maybe only dissapointment to me in this series . But yeah, this year have been a great one for LEGO Halloween/Monster fans and we won't see more in the next year unless there's a major film tie in the future. Not so sure about other Hannah-Barbara cartoone franchises. Not saying that I don't like the others, but Scooby-Doo should be the best choice for a LEGO franchises.
  10. Costumes sound like a good way to avoid religious issues. Perhaps we can customize it into a real devil with the new parts it provides. But personally, I'm just fine with the referenced characters like Gargoyle. Yeah, that's why I believed there could be a normal astronaut woman or a realistic version of space heroine. Intergalactic Girl just seems too cartoonic, compared with any other later space heroes.
  11. Based on the fact Nexo Knights is absolutely too new to the LEGO franchises, I don't hope it's entry unless the second expansion ensures enough entries for LEGO's in-house franchises. It's a shame to just see three LEGO worlds from all of the current franchises. No SpongeBob also means no TMNT, sadly. Unless they're handed out again luckily, consider that Scooby-Doo was done by COBI at first. Not sure if NBA counts a franchise.... I don't think this can be pulled out as a world.
  12. While the decision is within LEGO, it's rather pointless to make discussion about it. Since the original idea was to make up for the minifigure fans who aren't happy with the minidoll line so far, one or two don't help too much.I hope it doesn't end up like we're being selective about the Princess franchises rather than seeking chances for all of them. So I agree his topic should just not begin again.
  13. I think the point is not whether they can't or they won't. LEGO might put some and that's their decision, but it's not something to expect for. As the predict list showed above, the remaining CMF places cannot allow all current Princess minidolls to have a seat and that tells the result, anyway. As for the good&bad theory, wonder if King Triton is an option. The Undersea Palace mysteriously skipped him and not sure if he can still be in later Princess sets. From all Pixar heroines, if there's Mr Incredible, perhaps there is Mrs. Incredible, too. And since IO emotions are not coming, my second choice would be Boo. I agree with the point that Merida didn't need accessories, but it might also be that they didn't plan to do Banshee hairpiece in the first place, and just used Andrea's one instead. Let's just see how Merida look like next time.
  14. Generally, since she belongs to Princess sets, you would have to wait for the more Brave sets to see if she has some changes, not in this line. Plus that we have confirmed that there are some new Pixar stars coming instead. The main point of Banshee hairpiece is that it's no a rubber piece with insertable holes. It feels like LEGO would have most minidolls use rubber hairpieces (exceptions would be like specific hairstyles like Jasmine's) cause girls want to decorate the characters. Uhmmm... halfly correct. I would say not everyone insist to correct every Hobbit dwarf, but based on the fact Hobbit series is a bigger franchise in the view of film series. Let's just say that LEGO doesn't see Snow White a moneymaker, anyway. It ships to my region, though I wouldn't buy them anyway .
  15. Uhmm but that would say not all of seven dwarfs would be here, as same as the Incredibles case. I believe LEGO is able to do a real Dwarf house set with all dwarfs and Snow, but based on the proress they made with the newest Princess wave, I doubt they want to do it.If the Princess line can still add the remaining franchises next time, I think they would still do a small forest walking scene set with just Snow and the Prince and his horse, suppose that they determine to miss the dwarfs out.
  16. Cruella+Patch would be a decent combination. She's a rare, non-magical villain from modern times (and it's kinda like Cruella is more iconic than Roger and Anita ) Just not sur how to execute her fur coat. The one Classic King and Queen wear is furry but a cape.
  17. I mean.... oh never mind, Like said earlier, any franchise other than Mickey&Friends better not take too many places here. If any new franchise is still hot enough, I wish to see any regular set born instead of CMF inclusion.Forget LEGO Games, since Perry is added in this years' Infinity, he is still an available option. Otherwise, the current on-air shows could be the candidates here I would like see TV shows considered a Disney member, so one spot is good enough for them to redeem their names. > Japan Only if not Yuna..... Yeah, Stitch and Lilo would be nice enough for the franchise. As for the villain category, since three are confirmed, I expect at least two more. Ursula would be a Plan B for the current lack of villain in regular Princess line. And some other franchises would have multiple good guys (like Team Incredibles) so it's not a fixed rule. The second good character from Peter Pan would either be Tinklebell or Wendy, but sadly the former is more like the icon to Disney franchises.
  18. I don't know. As the animal icons are mostly known species, I understand why they have to be accurate molds,Let's go back to the topic as Clone said. Now there are 12 places left. Did anyone say Mikey confirmed? I guess we could see five Pixars at most this time. Mickey&Friends are either five or three. Three means a big chance for a sequel series. I hope to see Tron or another real actor representive, but it could also be zero this time. Not so sure about Disney Channel Original category. Only if they could put one, either Agent P, Hannah or Stan. Winnie is a possible choice (though I'd be sad for Eeyore). The rest would be those popular animated film stars like Jack Skellington, Stitch, Alice etc.
  19. I'm fine with molded feads for non-human characters. Quicky is a special case. Some of the costumes appeared in CMF lines all have holes of eyes and they're not considered as real Gorilla or Bunny. Reminds of Playmobil's blindbag series, but Playmobil's gender strategy is more on the basis of their already gender-balanced product lineup. But that's not the case happening now in LEGO CMFs, anyway.I think people could use heroines in different ways. Either damsel-in-distress or brave teammates, which should be either fine for boys. And basically, theses Disney stories have girls already, unlike other LEGO's in-house media stories which may clearly target at boys. As I referred earlier, molded animal characters might be similiar with the new Palace Pets sets or Friends' animal polybags. Hopefully other Disney classic animals would do that one day.
  20. I guess not all these cases always come with gender counterparts, if so LEGO would have added more girls that are based on previous male characters and justify the gender ratio. I think some of them are just one-time character without the need of reappearance (or just reappear in regular sets) so no chance for gender swap too. I'd just say that Space ladies are really few, and so far the City blue-collar workers (not counting construction workers) are all guys, which seem unbalanced. Animal Control Officer could be considered the partner of Farmer with in this series, so I just skip both of them. This?
  21. To speak in a less offesnive way, you know minidolls are made to cater to their targeted market, so their "usability" is not objective. Some FOLs need minifigures and some need minidolls, that's my explanation. And not to repeat the whole discussion again, we know we are scarecely going to see all minidoll characters in this series, so we better not focus on something unrealistic. Not a bad thought, though wonder if LEGO would ask for its accuracy.... Well hope it's the Scooby-doo ones :p.
  22. I would hope that this series focus more on the Disney Villains part until that the regular sets do have them.... anyway, it'd be nice to know that the figures would focus on new hairpieces rather than newly molded heads.
  23. Just my personal question: do you guys think the gender ratio would maintain like this in any future series? While I'm fine with characters of both genders as long as they are creative enough, sometimes I feel like some characters from the series don't seem necessarily for guys (my series 15 picks: Astronaut, Kendo Master, Janitor). Is it something done by purpose or just an inclination? I thought TLM series was a turning point, or that series should be considered a special case?
  24. Uhmmm... as long as The Incredibles 2 the film is confirmed, not sure if that counts a good news..... either end up not gonna have any regular LEGO set or we might have to skip these guys? It's probably a no to me, who wanna see all four(five?) family members. Put the regular series aside, since it's not the real gender ratio of Disney franchises, I guess that won't happen.
  25. Well you sound like these LEGO sets should have characters as few as possible,.... As you say, since the LEGO sets don't really just give the heroines but guys and the others could also be in, these shouldn't bother in a princess scenario. Some had talked about Disney Villains, which is indeed a grey zone in that topic. This is why I wouldn't mind too much to see Jafar or Ursula here in CMF series. If so LEGO would have to do more than two for Disney classic sets.... however I would really love to see a Hundred Acre Wood set.which contains some exclusive characters. It's a pity to see Pooh things exclusive to the Duplo range.
