I personally have faith in Harry Potter and belive that the franchise has a good chance to join the Dimensions battle. It's not about how Fantastic Beasts the film turns out.But as for Fantastic Beasts, hopefully they have some LEGO sets and just don't end up as game packs only. :/

To a degree. Noted that some of the types have been covered by Disney, I prefer to see more different types of Elves and non-human creatures in this theme. Overall, it's nice to see some more Elves other than the main four and Skyra and Johnny.

Looks too real to be LEGO and is more like a commercial building model, welldone

While the series still have potential, I think only a new film can once again reactivate this license. Unless, like others said, a reboot series try to repacture the classic scenes so that new LEGO sets would do them. Offtopic and spoiler: yes, the 4th film shows that Indy the titular character would never be given to another new hero. So not sure if a brand new story can be written just like SW7 having the old Han Solo.

Disney Princess 2016 Rumors and Discussion
Dorayaki replied to Amazing Bricks's topic in LEGO Licensed
True, Polly Pocket was one of my oldest memories and LEGO minidolls did kinda remind me of that :p.As you say, the main targeted girls are more accustomed to doll-like figures and indeed LEGO minidoll is a prior choice for this franchise. Just not sure if LEGO has a chance to do both figures if minidolls have fulfilled their very first need. -
Uhmmm okay. It'd be nice to see more tie-ins with HP universe so that everyone can see the magic extend. Especially nice when LEGO Dimensions has a chance to do an extension series and HP is part of the plan. The other upcoming case would be PotC5, but that would have to be confirmed after one another year.... As for LotR/Hobbits case, give that HP has done several sets in advance, the need of HP's comeback would not be too significat. I personally wish to see more sets based on the final three films.

While sequel/prequel series is one of the concern of LEGO licenses, in this forum, as I know we discuss rumors based on that any of the toy news is leaked. If there is no news for toys, there's no need for a thread for unannounced themes .

Disney Princess 2016 Rumors and Discussion
Dorayaki replied to Amazing Bricks's topic in LEGO Licensed
The assumption kinda ignores one thing: minidolls do have clear taget at girls since the beginning, however, it's not said that minifigures just sell to boys and don't sell to girls. Minifigures have been growing diversity and some do show pretty much feminine treats which both genders accept. Disney minifigures have been spoken by fans indeed.Just considering that the exclusive headpart molds are done, it's not a big deal for LEGO to do minifigures. The problem is LEGO haven't don't this kind of thing for any of their mini-doll character so far for unknown reason. It'd be nice if both versions are made to cover different customers. -
Not a suprise to know that Oz sets are wanted. However, almost all of Dimensions' new/exclusive licenses were initially suggested by the rejected Ideas projects. It's not as simple as Midway's case (it'd be nice to see some sets based on the classic games, IMO). Dimensions doesn't seem to be the incentive, it's rather a source of problems how LEGO deal with fans' expectation.

What could be in a Mythology series of CMFs?
Dorayaki replied to 8BrickMario's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Uhmm.. not sure if this could be an independent topic since it's not yet a rumor. Maybe a topic for "more themed CMF series" as a collective topic. As for Mythology, maybe it could be a good source, but since mythology characters have been allowed in regular series, an independent themed series shows to be less necessary. Perhaps TLG can add some gods or heroes with very specific references or names which can't be used in regular series. Mythology was indeed one of Alexandre's proposal, so it does has a chance to be either a regular theme or a CMF series. A Fairytale series might interest me, too. -
Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Dorayaki replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Agree. Dimensions and TLM things would better be called "other canons" rather than "other realms". As for UA I didn't notice that much, so not sure if UA could be connect with Ninjago in a clear order (suppose that Tox had ever been to Astor City). Just discussing the general LEGO worlds, Chima, BIONICLES and Elves are obviously not in the same "realm" with other themes based on our daily life, I think that makes sense and is not too much. However, yet like otheres' said, the theory of realms might vary in different themes and they don't count all current LEGO themes. Perhaps Elves would say there are twenty worlds for different spirits and Ninjago isn't even part of them. :p. Wonder how realms be used in further series. Perhaps future enemies would come from other realms to Ninjago so that they have to go across multiple realms.- 4,591 replies

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Dorayaki replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Well, even though The LEGO Movie was a majorly different "realm", we can safely assume that most of the LEGO themes based on common worlds do exactly in the same realm, just like we've known that Clutch Powers and Ultra Agents do exist outside Ninjago City. Assumably, LEGO City, Bricksburg, Heartlake City and western towns are all in the same realm.Chima is indeed a fun easter egg, but can stll be considered to fill the vacancy of unecessary realms . Duplo might never be mentioned in Ninjago's formal storyline. Elves would be a nice reference if dragons do involve in their world. Back to that list, adding 2~5, I think only 7 spaces are currently in use so far. As for Castle-related themes (Nexo?), I thought they should be in different realms until I watched Clutch Powers .- 4,591 replies

Lego Minifigures Series 15 Guessing Game
Dorayaki replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Humm.... we know LEGO have done many "brides" too, and still, CMF series give accurate designs for retro characters too. As bricklink shows, the groom's torso for the Holiday set was actually from the CMF Magician (who did volunteer to be a groom in the book ). I know that black tuxedo could be more common in traditonal Western weddings, but we really haven't seen white grooms in LEGO range so far (unless MOC with Indy's torso), which is the one I draw in my guessing sketch. More accessories for wedding uses would be nice. -
Lego Minifigures Series 15 Guessing Game

Be abit offtopic, just wonder why Groom isn't in most wishlists? The Bride has been single for years and I thought fans would have opinions about that. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion
Dorayaki replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
His/her hair looks more organized than the Businessman. It's offtopic, if we mean original LEGO princess's, we had one in series 12 and they often appear in Castl/Junior sets. But it always feels like the normal Castle princess's aren't diversitive enough to cater to girls' interests. -
Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
Dorayaki replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Regular sets featuring new licensed would have better advertising effects (though LEGO have been missing that recently). So characters from the released films are more recommended for this series. If Disney Princess sets officially discontinued, then the unreleased princess's are legit choices. I'd have mixed feelings about that, though. It's offtopic, but yeah, Jasmine is the only "exotic" princess released in that theme so far. The diversity could have been better if each wave has more than one exotic franchise. SW and SH are never available choices, not due to Hasbro and Disney Infinity, but just that LEGO's future regular sets probably have ensured room for unreleased characters.- 4,155 replies

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
Dorayaki replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
It's discussed before, we're willing to see LEGO do minifigures for them, but the question is whether CMF series is a legit chance for repetitive characters or not. Mickey and Peter Pan's Duplo figures were a very different scale so they don't matter too much.Junior sets are rumored to be a possible place for princess minifigures. But that's not ensured at this point. As for the undone princess's or heroins mentioned above (Snow White, etc), it could be that Princess line will keep them from the CMF series. However the 2016 list of Princess sets didn't clearly say if it'll have any new franchise. Not knowing why, did Duplo end that case? At least it should work for LEGO.- 4,155 replies

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
Dorayaki replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Not sure. If that works then it would be that most themes would accept both figures, even within the Superheroes not just for a SuperGirls branch. For now I think LEGO would stick to just one figure representation in a single theme. Unless LEGO can do both figures for one character, which is the feasible solution. In that case, I expect to see regular sets instead if they're predicted to be big hits. So that would be another question if characters made in Duplo before would also have a chance, or they're considered to be for very young kids. And since every popular Disney franchise contain more than four classic characters (Mickey, Winnie, Incredibles), if Disney CMF in ensured, that almost means there would be more than one series...... only if it comes true.- 4,155 replies

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
Dorayaki replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think you're kinda missing the point. Although the princess-related stories aim more at girls, we would have to remember that they're still part of the Disney films. The thing we care is whether we would get repetitive characters from the possible CMF series. I personally think Disney Inifinity series show a good job how exteremly girls-oriented characters can be put with hero guys in bot physical toys and non-physical videogame characters. But when coming to LEGO, by the same standard of Disney Infinity, it'd be better if all figures are in the exact same type. And as many replies show, I'm afraid most FOLs wouldn't likely choose minidolls between the two options. Even without a possible CMF series, we have got other Disney/Pixar "minifigures" themes before, the problem already existed ever since Disney Princess came out as a minidoll theme. As long as Disney Princess don't do minifigures, we could never see a LEGO version of Disney Infinity collection. I agree with the point that princess's better stay in their own theme. But since the figure issue is still a grey zone, the answer is not a clear "no" as much as asking for Woody and Jack Sparrow in the CMF list. I think the previous reply was probably about introducing characters we've not seen in regular sets, so that's not really rehashing. If I have to find a reason that would not be very true, the thing I'm concerned is that Disney's cooperation with LEGO isn't really consistent these years, probably after LEGO launch their TLM advertising business with Warner Bros. Introducing a full line of Disney characters would likely ensure a possible advertising of more Disney things in future LEGO mediawork, but I'm not really sure if LEGO can handle both side well, assuming that we'll never see WB properties and Disney characters appear in the same ad.....- 4,155 replies

UH WELL.... I actually don't own the original version so that may be a luck to me (if I can afford), but I understand why everyone moans..... It'd be nice if LEGO can afford two sets, one medium new set and one old remake. Maybe next time they should do a larger Santa Workshop .

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
Dorayaki replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
That sounds harsh . Well the truth is that girls do enjoy adventure sometimes and that's why there are Elves and Friends Jungle.Well again, that's back to the basic debate whether minidoll and minifigures could share a theme or have to conflict with each other. Now the Princess line is tricky: they don't have minifigures indeed but having any princess in the CMF line (if possible) could also waste a chance for more non-princess characters. I can understand the strategy that introducing Disney Villains in the CMF series so that kids can decide if they want to add them to Princess sets or not. Not a bad move, but if they're not the same type of figure, the visual issue would emerge (Jafar is shorter than Jasmine??? ). The perfect result is to make Princess's stay in their own theme and introduce minifigures versions in some sets, but not sure if that can happen anytime soon. While CMF series mean to introduce more diversitile molds, minidolls have really been lacking most molds (armors, kid's body) which minifigures already have for years, that means blind bags can help them out a lot. But not sure if CMD blind bag series do have a big market. Sadly, I don't think the original CMF collectors would have the same passion for CMD series at this point since LEGO don't really do a good job in advertising.- 4,155 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion
Dorayaki replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I agree with your saying. But for an "original theme" I meant, I think it's either that the theme would cater to the major fans' taste, or try to add some characters that could also be used for some retro themes, just like the citizens from Bricksburg. If LEGO is going to do Ninjago series to promote the movie plot, I think the series would have some Ninjago citizens we've seen in the TV series, or the movie would try to add some fillers that could interest CMF purchasers. Uhm... mmmm.... -
Lego Batman spinoff will replace The LEGO Movie 2 in 2017
Dorayaki replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I'm fine with both canons. The Direct-to-DVD series are defnitely not based on Finn's imagination, so both cases are possible. If LEGO decide to go with the TLM-Batman version, it could be that the whole LEGO plot would try to make fun of the classic Batman plot with funny Superheroes. Although Wyldstyle is with Batman in the Dimensions' starter set, I don't see that Batman is the TLM version for sure. I assume that Dimensions would merge two canons into one. -
Uhm... yeah. I think we'd see some other one-shot action themes like Monster Fighters or Pharaoh's Quest in the future while Ninjago is still there. This is okay to me, but just want to see that LEGO could try to keep doing new themes with longterm storyline plans even after Chima's closure. Ultra Ugents wouldn't likely get continuation, and not sure if Elves is gonna do it bigger. Now Ninjago occupying two waves in one year kinda distract me.I believe that we can hardly see another ninja-based theme even after Ninjago ends, so it'd likely stay for even longer. There are many ways to do reboots with continuity though. They can either do a new generation, or telling a story that happens in a different realm, which is a method TLG can treat with the movie. Like those Pokémon Kaidens which feature the game heroes other than Ash/Red, a Ninjago Kaiden with some unheard elemental masters would be fine to me.

How Many Have Completed CMF Series?
Dorayaki replied to Boettner Builds's topic in Special LEGO Themes
5001121 manufactured in 2013. He is more like a special licensed mascot character like Julius and Quicky, I think. Interestingly, fans were arguing about whether we won't get regularly numbered series since TLM. Now the answer seems to be both yes and no. Considering that LEGO would like to compete with other blindbag manufacturers, special series sounds inevitable. Tie-ins do help themes that can't complete characters collections just within regular sets.
