This MOC isn't just one of the best Invasion from Below MOCs, it's one of the only ones, as well. Truth to be told, this MOC has given my a new idea for my own Breez mech; rather than a lean and agile-looking robot, as I was originally planning, a more hand-to-face-based brawling mecha. I wonder what the safest place to put a cockpit would be. At the back maybe, with a screen for supplying visuals?

Those don't look like the ears to me. There's a pair of flap-like ears in front of the rotors.

He also seems to be strangely more elongated than normal minifigs. If this is going to be another four-armed fig, it's just continuing a trend, although it has always been the secondary villain who got the extra limbs so far. However, what I really hope is that he uses longer legs, so as to fit his "possessed Garmadon" form.

I wonder whether the finalized version of CB will include those new claw-tip pieces found in Chima's Fangar Mech. It seems like such a useful and fitting part (for foot decoration) that it would be strange for LEGO not to use it.

Have you ever learnt the concept of "sarcasm", ShadowWolfHount? And let's take this to PM's before this gets to off-topic, please.

Watching the administrators deal with this is going to be fun. Also, we need a better way to deal with spamming.

Yes! More pictures. About Bulk's Drilling Machine: Hard to see, but while the green-and-blue jumper looks remarkably silly (but comes with a blue pod, which reduces rarity), the actual vehicle seems rather nice. A lot of orange, but it's pretty good. Also, new, beautiful art. Also, how is Crystal Beast a new set? We already saw that picture.

Infearno is a great-looking fig, and that's only one set where the agent's vehicle doesn't look ridiculous to me. It's getting harder and harder to resist this line. Tremor Tracks would be a great set if the fists weren't the ridiculous HF ones. I love that armor use, and the helmet seems nice, but that part of the set just ruins it.

The Overlord appears to have a skeleton for armor. And some weird type of leg armor seems to be attached to it, as well. It looks nice, though.

And appears to have brown hair. Please tell me that isn't Dareth.

Yeah, my plan for this year was to spend 300 euros on hero factory and save up 150 for new appliances, but Chima's Scorpion and Spider sets, not to mention the Summer wave, are looking like they'll eat up my budget if I'm not careful.

Which part? The bit about the wallet is something FOLs of any and all ages have experienced.
-
If it's Pixal, that's the best, most ambiguous box art ever, as evidenced by the "purple chicken monster" interpretation, although a fully purple version of Pixal would be nice to see.

Is Iron Man powered by Mindstorms? (2010 movie Easter Egg)
DraikNova replied to WaysofSorting's topic in Culture & Multimedia
That was amusing as hell. I'm suddenly much more confident in my attempts to make motorized kaiju-sized models of even larger daikaiju.- 4 replies

About ze Kaiju Kween : Beautiful zet iz beautiful. I love ze cocoon piecez, and the fact that we're getting them in blue and green just in this set alone makes it that much better. Plus, Jumpers (and Queen's parts) in bright blue confirmed, although they look rather silly. I wonder if the cocoon pieces will be rubber rather than plastic. Don't ask about the weird phonetic replacement stuff, I have no idea what I was thinking then. About Surge&Rocka Combat Machine: Pretty much what LEGOJang did, plus a red cocoon (HF Biollante, here we come!) and green jumper. Plus, blue stud shooters! Time to start building up an arsenal. About Crystal Beast: YEEEEES!! MORE TRANSLUCENT BLUE ARMOR SHELLS AND BONES YES! That's all I have to say. Oh, and he appears to be dunking something in a cocoon, which seems to be a green Jumper but is probably Bulk. About the Flea Machine: Seems I was right about the Bohrok eyes. Again, pretty much LEGOJang's build, along with a red cocoon and this time an orange-blue Jumper. What's that strange bluish thing on top, too far to be the cockpit? About Rocka's Climbing Mech: Ditto, he seems to be falling out of his seat. About Tunneler Beast: Waiting for the pictures. Overall, I'm glad I left enough room in my budget to get two or, in the case of some sets, three (and 4 in the case of Jaw Beast, but that's neither here nor over there where stuff is exploding ) of each set. Can't wait for Wednesday!

Hell yeah, that's more the weight class of mech you'd expect from Breeze. It's just a little too bulky for her character, but thinner legs would be hard/impossible to do, and short of jump jets, I can't really think of much that would make this more agile. Great work!

This is the most amusing MOC I've seen in the HF forums since that weird earth mole-miner thingy, which is less credit than this deserves, even for such a relatively simple MOC.

Warning: silly supervillain jokes and cliches ahead. Yes! Female supervillains* and (possibly mad?) scientists! Muahahahahah *continues on and on and on* haha! This sounds great. I will have to pass. Good thing those two figs come in otherwise horrible sets, so I have an excuse to pass on them. Hurricane Heist is...interesting. Very interesting (*evil wink/eyebrow twitch*). I need to see more of it before I can decide on it, though, but it's design is unique and brilliant, leading me to believe one of the wing halves was the front at first. The agents HQ is not the best set ever, to say the least. I'm a fan of the colorscheme, and the small mech isn't the worst (better than some main vehicles of Chima sets), but the shape is horrible. If I'm going to end up buying it, it's going to need some interesting and useful parts or recolors first. 70162 sounds nice, what with the minifig accessories (I can never have enough Galaxy Patrol armor pieces and the surfboard sounds excellent), as does 70161. I'm guessing the beige vehicle is Tremor's, and I hope the claws turn out to be some sort of ground-pounding device (could be a nice chance to implement a sonic theme, a la Tesla's Earthquake generator). *There seem to be two toxicity-themed henchmen (Adam Acid and Retox) in this wave, so we can assume she's the main bad guy! Great move LEGO, and I'm proud of your design team for once.

Why does the temple look like a christmas ornament? Seriously, that dark green and red just causes associations with christmas galore, but apart from that major issue (counterbalanced by the greyish-white bottom half), the set looks great. I'm not going to get it, unless we find out about some major feature that makes it exponentially better, which, as always, shall prove to be the case. I'd be happy if it didn't actually. I need to save my budget somehow. There appears to be a purple chicken monster on the steps of the pyramid, incidentally. Also, the purple tendrils of !!DOOM!! around the figs depiction prove that that fig is indeed the Overlord. That has been the motif of both Garmadon (associated with...) and the Overlord. The Ninja X-1 Charger is moderately interesting, what with the sheer weapons overload, which disrupts the smooth aesthetics to a certain degree. I like the look of the engines and rear turrets quite a bit.

Wait, the animal head colors are still green, grey, black, etc.? That is the most amusingly glaring prelim look ever. I will be most amused if that's kept. I agree with Aanchir on Laval's Walker looking like the Tarakava, but while the treads clash with it, the head sculpt is absolutely perfect, one of the best ever (ignoring the lower jaw, which is bare-bones at best). While the Ice Saber is by no means imposing, the new clip-on claws are excellent and will be very useful. I also like the availability of the brown technic "circles". The mini bike is not the worst ever, but by no means a useful usage of parts. I look forward to seeing the back this vehicle, as it seems much more impressive than the lack-luster front. The Mammoth AT-AT looks like it could teach the SW guys something about battling in the snow. This hulking beast of a set is majestic, imposing and has fr*ggin turbines on it's shoulders! I have to get this, as this looks like a paleontologist mad scientist went on a rampage in Siberia. Just look at it, what with that great use of the new "bone wing" pieces. I absolutely adore the Phoenix Temple. It reminds me very much of a LEGOJang MOC, albeit a Hero Factory one. It is massive, with brilliant color arrangement and features a great-looking small vehicle that for once does not look like a waste of budget. The new Speedorz appears to include a rock that can flip open, which looks like a freakish hybrid of the asteroid rock piece and a treasure chest. The Ice Vulture looks horrible, but remember: it features great parts, including mixels joints and other rarer and extremely useful parts/recolors. To sum up: Damn you LEGO, for ruining my carefully arranged budget plans and damning my wallet to hell.

I recognized the part, I just didn't understand how that part is connected to the other armor shell. It seemed to be at a slight angle compared to it, after all, but taking a closer look at it shows it's not.

A little too mechanical for my tastes, but if it's supposed to look mechanical, it does an excellent job.

Review Of The Worst Bionicle Sets Of All Time
DraikNova replied to Mephek's topic in LEGO Action Figures
The dead eyes on the 2008 ones actually add a bit of character, in my opinion,. -
Quite a creative add-on, and while the HF armor adds a nice touch, the red axles being exposed detracts from it severely. I would also like to know how you connected the knee pads.
