  1. Blindly seams like a good idea for a driver. ?
  2. Gonna add a periscope so the driver can see past that engine? ? Looks great so far. I love the turned around mustang wheels.
  3. I go back an forth on the wheel covers. I'll keep trying them on and off as I continue. Diffuser will be done when the wing is done, which will be done when the colors are finalized. I definitely tried an open cockpit version as well, it looks ok, but the over engine bodywork looks a little too tall. I'll post that soon. Colors. Here are a couple that I think could work. Let me know which one would be the best to keep with, and I'll play around with them. Orange, Yellow, or Lime(!) Bright seems a little more racy. White, LBG, or DBG? These are a little more quiet, but easier to implement. Any thoughts?
  4. Finally finished a Stronga Hookloada trailer for the Atmos tractor. Pneumatic dump and dumpster lock. Enjoy!
  5. @Qukie Here is a shot of the rear. The rear wing and diffuser will be the last part to finalize, so this is a placeholder. I took off the wheel covers to see how it looks. I'm open to thoughts here. Changed the door colors as well. I agree with you @agrof, it looks better. I made a simple sketch for the cockpit roof, so I'll let that sit for a little bit and see if other inspiration comes. I added some shaping to the side, and a little color. Not sure if I like the white and black as it looks like I don't have the colors I need. I'll try some other ideas. Hopefully something more intentional comes out.
  6. The shaping looks good. While the rainbow is fun, I'm looking forward to the final exterior and what you can add to the inside.
  7. Thanks. I agree with the panels on the cockpit. I have changed them. I'll play around with a little white and orange. Thanks for the affirmation @ArsMan064 Yep, I'll post a picture soon. @vectormatic yeah my goal is the older type LMPs, so I am happy you like it. The older LMPs seem to look like the radicals and such, so I guess the styling I am going for is working. Hmmm, thanks. I am open to ideas for the front, though I am not interested in extending the front overhang. The older LMPs have such a thin wheel fairing, and a short, steep leadup to the wheel fairing. From the side the new LMPs look too much like a cartoon whale as the front pushes more air to the side rather than over. I hope to avoid that look. There seems to be some feedback that the cockpit needs some work, so I'll work on that too. I'll post a picture of the LMP C without the wheel rims for some feedback as well. Back soon....
  8. I toyed with some Morgan shapes early on for my TC18, but I couldn't get the shapes right. It would be great if you could incorporate some of the design themes in your MOC, but it seems like your direction is a little more "new school." Looking forward to see how you close up the rear.
  9. I can post a couple more pictures. Glad you like it. The body parts were a non-negotiable for me. They're a little flimsy, but work. I completely forgot about a roof. I'll work on that when I am adding some color.
  10. OK, another update. The major panels are placed, and all the removable bodywork is working. I still don't like the side panels and cooling intakes, so that's next. Then off to the final internal cooling and duct work. And I'll need to add a little color; it's looking toooo blue.
  11. Maybe we could just remove the body panels and bam! you got a Streetfighter! B Model easy-peasy .
  12. @Rudivdk I’ll try it. Thanks.
  13. I would use that too if the link was mounted horizontal in the non-compressed state. So move the chassis mounting point down a stud, and use that part.
  14. I don't like connectors in my suspension as the one thing that bothers me more than anything is having a drive axle pull out of the differential. So I like all the parts of a suspension to be laterally fixed. I suspect this design will not have that happen often, but due to the connectors, the rubber mount, and the steering hubs, it might. I do like the solution you devised with the two perpendicular connectors. That is more ridged, and the longer swing-arm length may reduce the need for the rubber connectors. Does the suspension still work if you use a fixed +O 1x2 liftarm with the axle side mounted fixed to the engine?
  15. @Rudivdk How did you mount the exhaust pipes? I thought I had 4 corrugated pipes, but I guess not.
  16. Agreed. That rear suspension is great. Well done. I agree with @agrof, can you replace the t#1 connectors with something else. How about 2 1x4 thin liftarms and replace the rubber connector with a 1x2 liftarm?
  17. @Erik Leppen Thanks for the affirmation. I still have some unresolved issues, but I hope to solve them. Wheel arches will be the parts from 42098, unless I can find another solution.
  18. Another Group C car. Wonderful. I look forward to how you keep the car low and sleek.
  19. @zux I do the exact same thing.
  20. You bet. I wouldn’t do suspension, so I needed something. Perfect. Let’s keep going then. I think I calculated correct. 22 studs for a 2800mm wheelbase. But don’t assume my my engineering abilities are good enough for 400km/h! Bodywork is next...
  21. @agrof Stupendous! I'm making my own now! Thanks again.
  22. I like it so far. Keep it up.
