  1. Great! Happy to help. I'm happy another contest is offered!
  2. I very much appreciate contests with size constraints, so I would appreciate a car contest to fit with the 42098 transporter. The Corvette wheels are silly narrow though, could I suggest the Corvette wheels (43x14) or the slightly wider ones (43x22)? Maybe throw in the 56x26 too, so we could get a pickup or two in the contest.
  3. Thanks for posting the idea. It looks good and simple. I'm glad it worked.
  4. @johnnym I am glad my axle worked well for your MOD. The steering direction change worked OK for me as the rear axle moved back a little bit. This gave me the ability to change the direction on the HOG gearing. I designed the axle knowing the balloon tires would not work, as the Fischertechnik tires were planned from the beginning. The Batmobilie tires work great though. I like the shape of your build, though it could use a different shape hood to keep in line with 8081 a little more. The doors looks sharp. Also, I have a set of those Dark Red rims with the hope of using them on a MOC, but every time I do, the color always looks off. Same with this MOC. I’d go back to the LBG rims.
  5. Only if you would like. I am interested in the solutions used, but I do not need to build it. It’s always interesting to me to see how others solve driveline problems in a small scale. Thanks for the offer.
  6. I picked this project up again after a little time off. I am happy I did. I found a solution that I am happy with for the rear view mirrors. They look good, and the keep the A pillar clean. The rest of the cab is about done, but I am still trying to figure out the center of the hood. Draft 1 is on the left, and draft 2 (wrong color) is on the right. Any ideas? Also, Thirdwigg Jr. untied the front winch so I need to fix that.
  7. I loved nearly all of the 93__ series sets including 9393, so it's nice to be reminded of them. This little MOD is great.
  8. Thanks all. @1980SomethingSpaceGuy The tires work great together, but I am not sure about the tire size for the trailer. These 56mm ones are a little small, so I may try the 68mm tires that are on the front of the tractor. Glad you like the hood, but I stole it from set 9393.
  9. This is a neat little build. Are you able to show some pictures of the driveline?
  10. All Thirdwigg Farm Instructions Tractor Instructions Forestry Trailer Instructions Dump Trailer Instructions Disk Harrow Instructions Mechanical Seeder Instructions Power Harrow Instructions Furrow Instructions Snow Plow Instructions Mower Instructions _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ A lot of WIPs going on here is Thirdwiggville, so while the Unimog and SRT are still in progress, let's add another tractor. The tractor came together in 10 days, which is pretty quick for me. Not sure about the mirrors or the air intake, but the rest is pretty final. Now on to the trailers.
  11. Great job. I alway like a good garbage truck. The hopper action is great!
  12. Man I love those new Batmobile tires. Great mods of a great build.
  13. You bet! Makes me want to do another MOD. Nice build @kodlovag, I love a manual mid-sized vehicle MOC, and the features you added are perfect.
  14. I guess I can't keep myself from making tractors these days. This one will have a trailer, and currently has steering, drive, rear PTO, rear 3 point hitch, front mount, pneumatic pump and PPTO, and a 2 cylinder engine.
  15. How are you building so fast!?! Another great build. That hood is perfect.
  16. Great job again. I'm more of a duckbill fan myself, but you got the whale tail shape spot on.
  17. Don't rush to put it online, as I was able to find it a figure out the build (others should too). I looked to build it in orange, but require too many part orders, so I'm happy the red turned out.
  18. Another small tractor based on my Class Atos. Features steering, I-3 engine, front and rear PTO and 3 point hitch. Also, I basically stole @M_longer's stunning V-Plow. Thanks! Enjoy.
  19. I had no idea this was thing! This is peak automotive silly. The only thing more rad would be a Sport Unimog. Yep, that was the start. It was quick, but missed some of the brashness and obnoxiousness of the later trucks. The wave is always there, just sometimes lacks some inspiration.
  20. @I_Igor Funny. I tend to enjoy newer aesthetics, but I may have to do a hot rod at some point. Thanks for the idea.
  21. The rolling chassis is now final. I have switched to a live rear axle with the new diff, and kept the old front suspension parts. The truck should come together pretty quickly now.
  22. I appreciate using restraint on the cylinder r count. The valves are great, as is the plumbing. A detailed V-6 is better than a plain V-10 any day.
  23. @jorgeopesi Oh I see. Yes, I am using the axle 4 with middle stops on the front and rear axles out of the frames from the bevel gear to the center of the truck as you are in the picture shown. The 5x7 frames are being used for both the front and rear axles, with the pin connectors 3L as you have. It does keep the 4 axle with stop a little more straight through suspension articulation. The design is almost a copy of the ones I used in this 'Mog. I'll post a picture of the bottom of the current iteration of the truck soon to see the current suspension setup.
  24. Thanks for the praise, so I'll keep building. This is my favorite scale to work in, and it's working well for this project. Thanks, small improvements keep coming. I am not sure what you are getting at here @jorgeopesi. The moc currently does not have any liftarm 5x7 open center frames (or 7x11 for that matter) as they don't line up with any spot for all the mechanics. But, I am still looking for more rigidity. Also, I am not clear about your comment about the 4 axle with center stop. Let me know what you are suggesting, and I'll see if I can make some more changes. Thanks again. I'll keep making Unimogs until I find them boring or ugly, neither of which will happen soon. When it's done, I'll post some instructions so you can build your own. Yep, saw the updates on Lego Parts Store. I ordered 8 more tires, some new diffs, and some other parts from 42099 and 42100 which may find their way into this MOC. We'll see if the prices for the tires start to fall on Bricklink now that they can be sourced directly from TLG, since they are about ten times the cost on Bricklink.
