  1. @johnnym The hose is common length. It is 15 studs long. I hope this helps. Here is a video finally.
  2. Thanks @mostlytechnic for doing this picture review. I still appreciate the photo/text review more than the video ones, so I appreciate the time you put into this. I am conflicted about this set. The car looks much better than 42096, and I very much like the new parts (rotor blade, 3x2 panels, both wheel arches, red 3x13 panels). But the cost is just too high. It seems like LEGO is getting validation to raising the price ceiling of Technic sets, and this gives more space for the mid- and low-priced sets to increase. Maybe my expectations are too set in the 2010s, but I'll read the reviews and buy only the parts I need.
  3. IP should be "Intellectual Property," right? So something licensed I suspect. LEGO is pricing me out of Technic sets. As Pick a Brick gets better, I just have no interest in buying such expensive sets. Looking back, I though 8110 at $200 was crazy, and now it's increasingly common and middle of the range.
  4. @johnnym Instructions have been posted here. So far I have the tractor, and the mower. I'll do more soon. Here is what you can expect.
  5. Thanks for your comment @Erik Leppen. More of my builds of late have become more series builds. I enjoy the challenge, and this allows for my creativity to wander a little more. I agree, I like the orange better. I like the forestry trailer and the hooklift trailer the most. I plan to keep both built until I can get the new Jeep tires. They do seem like the would match well. To some extent, LEGO is pricing me out of many of the newer Technic sets, so something like this at a good price point would be something I, like you, would be interested in.
  6. @johnnym I am working on some instructions. I'll post those here soon.
  7. Fantastic. Thanks for building along side of me. So many ideas came from your design. As I mentioned the fritter looks the best, and the winch is perfect.
  8. I think it is finally time to set this MOC aside for a while. But before I do, enjoy the tractor in lime, with a new disc mower. Features PTO driven cutting discs raise/lower mechanism Offset trailer mechanism
  9. @syphoon It seems like you did better than @MajklSpajkl and I. We both wanted it, but never got there. Ahh, to be young again.... Glad you both enjoyed the build.
  10. You know, I don't know where the pilot usually sits. I guess I should have looked this up prior to this build. Go ahead and steal away. I stole it from others.
  11. While I recall you were not the one to come up with it, I recall you were the first to integrate it into a finished MOC, so I felt the need to cite you. I confess, nostalgia runs strong with me, so I will buy any remake TLG will do. 21322 was a buy for me because of this. I do well not buying everything TLG makes these days, but if they release Ice Planet, Blacktron, Launch and Load Seaport, and anything Octan Racing or Technic pre 1998; I will buy it all. @jorgeopesi while I love your construction builds, I would welcome a helicopter from you.
  12. Great build. I am always up for a forklift, and your design looks great. I, like others, really like the integration of the system and technic bricks. Oftentimes the transition between the two looks rough, and by keeping flat surfaces consistent your design works great.
  13. Great update @SNIPE. I'm not sure I would keep the center diff, but I like the dual steering, so it might be needed. Does @Zerobrickss design improve the turning circle? If so, is the dual steering needed?
  14. Great job. I like the choice in wheels; they match the build well. I also like the grill.
  15. Ever since TC15, and @Lipko who (I think) came up with and @Rudivdk who used a great little variable pitch propellor system using the three-pin technic hub, I knew I had to use it for a little helicopter. I used it in a failed design, and a little executive helicopter that was not great. I wanted to try it again. After playing with some panels, I decided to try my hand at one of my favorite little sets, 8640 from 1986. It is mostly the same size, but seats two technic figs and their skis and poles. Both main and tail rotors spin, and the collective for the main rotor is controlled by the pilot. Ski and pole storage I hope you enjoy. I'll take it apart soon, and I'll make some photo instructions then.
  16. True, and Ferrari is nothing if not serious.
  17. Great job again. I love your small builds, and your 911s are some of my favorites. The F40 was great as well. This is great again, and I appreciate the addition of the suspension. I agree with @MajklSpajkl, where the panel in front of the rear wheels seems a little off, but maybe it's just the connection to the fender at the top/rear. I think I like the grey wheels better as well.
  18. Great to hear it! I hope to publish my U500 soon, and with it I have a U430 cab and chassis to go with it. Hopefully it can provide you with some ideas. Also check out the Mog @MajklSpajkl is building on Instagram. I'm looking forward to your result.
  19. Great job with the bonnet. It turned out well, and the slight curve is perfect.
  20. @rm8 Thanks for the review. Is that another 8081 Pickup Mod on the shelf?
  21. Thanks for your time on this review. I appreciate the detail you give the the build, and the new parts. I really like those new little 3x2 curved panels.
  22. It's fine I guess, and the tread pattern is a nice change from the 56mm balloon, but a little more diameter would have been welcome.
  23. Looking closer, it does look like the tires are the common 56mm diameter. Shoot, I was hoping they would be a little bigger.
  24. I am definitely on board with that.
  25. I really like those new tires, but the rest is meh to me. Frankly, I am happy they prioritized the suspension rather than the engine.
