  1. They have.. teeth! Run! Great bits of color in the vegetation, I don't recall ever seeing red bamboo stalks before!
  2. You're really becoming the windmill master of BoBS! A great way to introduce a new concept, I'd never heard of that kind of a mill! Neat idea with the rounded roof too. Good to see Salida Este continue to grow!
  3. Such a banana filled build! The banana tiled floor is especially good. I also really like your way of building a scroll!
  4. Holy macaroni and banana look who just became King of Avalonia! Congrats dG!
  5. Another excellent throne room, the columns here are particularly well done! Love the sense of height that you've achieved.
  6. This is a wonderful throne room MOC, the tiered arches in back with the Avalonian colors behind give it just the right flair and the dragon heads on either side are perfect! Great idea to bring in some nice light through the windows on the side, it sets the atmosphere really well. I also like the attention to detail with the soldiers lining the center aisle!
  7. Now I really do wonder who the monkeys' general is!
  8. This is an interesting development for sure! Looking forward to seeing who ends up with the message!
  9. Very fun build, the upside-down boat for a roof really sells it!
  10. Welcome to BoBS and Eslandola! I'm impressed with how well white, green, and red work on this little boat! The updated version especially looks good -
  11. What a cute little boat, I'm impressed by the curves on the hull! Several fun details too, I particularly like the green shutter for a hatch/compartment!
  12. Using trans-clear tiels for the water was a great idea here, it gives a really nice reflection for the canoes! Love the reeds too!
  13. Love the smoke!
  14. Really liking the high rafter ceiling and the activity you have going on in this scene. Great layout with several nooks and crannies; the statues in the arches on the walls are excellent too! But I agree with you; something just isn't right about the lighting. I think you have too much white reflection and it's not warm enough. It's as though the fourth wall were a sheet of glass through which the sunlight comes after bouncing off a polished floor which is a weird impression for a kitchen to give. Not sure how to fix it, but that is my take on the problem.
  15. Well... hmm... nope, hadn't noticed. Could be your browser? I'm using chrome. You could always try using Ctrl + i to get your italics on.
  16. The question now becomes, O Avalonians, do you wish for a king who thinks he should be king or for a king who thinks some other king could maybe do the king thing better? It really is kind of a difficult question.
  17. I love how the two voters so far voted exactly opposite.
  18. There's something a little creepy about those mounds of dark brown hair... Great use of the tire around the horse's neck and the overall composition of this MOC is really nice.
  19. What a lovely scene... rafters, shelves, candles, paper on the table - everything combines to set a great tone! As others have said, the picture with the lighting is wonderful. I really like the height of the room too, feels very appropriate for a medieval mansion!
  20. "Though I regret the idea of losing a great source of income through perpetual fines, I vote aye on that proposal," Chef Jalape exclaimed. "Aye," "Aye," Edward and Esterhazy nodded in unison.
  21. "Aye, aye!" Captain Argentum thundered. "Always in favor of anything that gives us one over Oleon!" Chef Jalape and Esterhazy looked bemused, but muttered their ayes notwithstanding. (3 Ayes from the MCTC delegation.)
  22. Chef Jalape raised a spatula. "I second the proposal to hold a special election for new representation from the Sea of Thieves!"
  23. Welcome to the guilds! There's no commitment as to how much or how large you have to build, of course the more the merrier but life has a habit of getting in the way sometimes so GoH is very flexible! To join one of the guilds you do have to create a minifigure (sig-fig), take a picture, upload it to an image-hosting website, and share it in the thread of the guild of your choice. After that, you just start building! Every now and then there are challenges you can participate in if you like, and your builds can earn your guild gold points (mostly for bragging rights), but there's no requirements like you have to enter the challenges or build so many freebuilds a month or anything like that.
