  1. The MCTC delegation had looked eagerly at the entering usher, thinking he was bringing some much needed toilet paper. Chef Jalape leaned back in his seat looking disappointed. "Glad though I am that we can now dock in Tortuga, I confess I would have preferred the white gold... anyway, I'll register my aye for the proposal to send a letter to Terraversa." "Aye," added Esterhazy.
  2. There's something funny about the shape of that tree. Really cool little shack! Kinda wish you had mixed one more color in with the tan ground, but it's a great little build.
  3. "What's that? We need to support an arch to Duke Oldis? I think we can let the Terraversans build their own statues," Chef Jalape muttered. Esterhazy squirmed in his seat, obviously embarrassed by his companion's ignorance but unfortunately unable to set him straight, since he didn't know who Archduke Oldis is either...
  4. There are some good examples in this group: https://www.flickr.com/groups/legoinminiature/
  5. You've got that right! Thanks!
  6. Clearly a very uncomfortable brig for particularly recalcitrant sailors.
  7. This is such a fun idea! Great work bringing it to life, the red and bits of dark green were a great choice. Also good work on the road out front and very nice presentation!
  8. Mophet is getting to be quite the city! I love that arch over the window under the shield, and that luxurious vine in the corner is great too.
  9. As others have said, the well roof is top notch! Those sunflowers are brilliant too. All the different shapes and colors of flowers you have here makes me realize I'm a little behind in my collection!
  10. I did not know that tiny little stalk existed! Looks great. In fact all these plants are lovely!
  11. "All things considered," De Troir spoke up, "I think it can hardly be doubted that we should and will continue our anti-piracy endeavors in the Brick Seas. I for one can't imagine why we shouldn't be willing to assure Corrington of our intentions in this regard."
  12. You make being restricted to three colors look so easy! As I said on... well, I'm not sure where I said it, but I'll say it again: green was a brilliant choice! Really gives the whole build a refreshing feel. The floor is top notch too and boy you have a lovely quantity of those arches.
  13. Oh yeah, that is definitely one of my favorite parts! Thank you! I spent several days on the floor, actually.
  14. A lovely little build! The layers of water were a great idea.
  15. Really neat border on this build! The tree looks great too, with those new leaf parts giving it a lot of texture!
  16. Sounds to me like a great place for your city. Looking forward to seeing it come to life!
  17. Esterhazy smiled. "We expect him to come floating in on an overloaded raft any day now!"
  18. Great choice of colors here and I really like the way you did the arches with an extra bump on top, looks very Kaliphlinian! The pool looks really nice too!
  19. Esterhazy de Troir paused in the act of sitting to apologize. "I'm afraid my fellow member, Commodore Argentum, might not be able to make it today. His ship sank on our last pirate hunting expedition. But Chef Jalape should be here very soon..." "I'm here!" Chef Jalape exclaimed, crawling out from under the desk.
  20. The teal color here is lovely! Great level of detail, I really like the carrot!
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks and Kaliphlin! It's great to see all these new faces!
  22. Exactly... stake out some extra border territory for Kaliphlin if you like! I think though, if you were to take Sultan's Gate and draw a line at about 33 degrees toward the right (so a little below that volcano) you'd be striking the border between Kali and Nocty fairly well.
  23. Welcome to Kaliphlin @Legonaut! I like the way you've sandwiched those square stones into the sand! As for Ras-el-Akhen, I believe that is specifically @Kayne's city, so if you'd like to "take it over" you would have to ask him (and it's possible he won't respond, it's been a while since he's last been active). But, as with all Kaliphlin cities, you are welcome to build in it occasionally. You are also more than welcome to plant your own city anywhere in the guild. I don't believe our cartographer gives the map overhauls very frequently but you might make it on there eventually... or maybe, when an update is long long overdue, I'll see if I can get a hold of the files!
